Played the Ike course on Monday, July 8th, 2024. The Good: Wonderful, interesting layout. Greens in good shape.

The Not So Good: The bunkers are without sand and hard. The cart paths are rough and in serious need of resurfacing. Much of the course looks messy and needs to be cleaned up.

This course could be one of the best in Southern California with better maintenance and management. It seems to be hurting financially based on the terrible bunkers, cart paths and trashy conditions.

The fee to play was $84. Worth no more than $50 under the current conditions.
Rate $90. July 6th. Tee time 6:20 "Babe Course"
4hrs 20min

Overall it was a nice course and I would recommend/play again.

The range was closed when I got on site but appeared to be open when I was leaving. Once I arrived in the pro shop, the staff didn't appear quite awake yet. They were not rude by any means but for a new guest there wasn't much interaction. I'm pretty easy going, but when I asked for a cart to sign for he told me I would get it 10min before my round started. I asked where I could warm up or practice and he just said "where ever you want"

The course was narrow so if you're probably not a single digit index or you don't hit it fairly straight, you're going to struggle. I'm a 2 and shot a 76 (par71)

I would describe the course as "damp" not sure if it dries out toward the later part of the day.

Tee Boxes could use some TLC. Fairways were good for the most part except wet spot here and there. The greens were soft and receptive. Rolled true. Bunkers were wet so pretty firm and muddy (only got into one) Rough was fair.

The course scene was beautiful. Trees all around and felt tropic at times. They do a good job upkeeping the landscaping.

If you asked me to play next weekend, I would.
Played the Ike. Nice course, pretty well maintained, but I don't understand what's going on with the bunkers. They're all super hard and packed as everyone mentions. Also the pace of play was ABYSMAL. It took over 5 hours to complete our round that started at 11:40 on a Thursday with no Marshals around. We were often waiting 5+ minutes to tee off and while it's nice to not feel rushed when setting up your shot, this became ridiculous and frustrating.

Ike is very difficult. Don't expect to putt well. If you're not hitting it straight, be prepared to lose a bunch of balls. Big plus for the snack cart having spam musubi.
Lovely course. Attended a tournament hosted by a business vendor and everything was so well organized! Delicious breakfast lunch and dinner for almost 200 people. The course was very difficult but I had some beautiful swings. Highly recommend.
Had fun playing a round with ESPN LA. Challenging fairways, greens were a bit hard & the bunkers were hard as a rock. Beautiful scenic views though.
I always come here to do some practice, and it has been nothing but amazing! This is also a very good place to take beginners that want to start out, there are coaches that are absolutely fantastic at teaching! I took classes here when i was younger and it helped me improve a lot
I had a fun day but this place is overpriced. For almost $100, you'd expect great conditions but the bunkers are rock hard, fairways dry/yellow and golf cart battery barely made it back to the clubhouse. Cart girl was probably the highlight of the day.
I played a round at Babe and the course was beautiful but very challenging. The weather was surprisingly mild and made the experience even better. Would definitely attempt again... once I get better
Very nice golf range. Cheap bucket of 100 balls for 8 bucks! The nice thing about this place is the roof shielding the hot 🌞 on a 🔥 day. I like it.
This is for the Babe course. One of the most challenging and beautiful (and pricey) golf courses in the area. If you want to experience golf at its finest in this side of town, this is it.
Wonderful and centralized location. Very exclusive and private entrance, up a gorgeous tree lined drive to the facilities.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. They are, however, ready for a refresh, a little dated.

The hotel and conference center is quite large. They have a great restaurant located near the golf course.

I plan on utilizing this property often, as I work in the San Gabriel Valley and live afar.
Had a good time at this course. Came with my brother in law and some friends. It was a moderate hot day for socal. The course was nice. I also rented clubs and they gave me some pretty decent ones. Then after our round we came in for some food and the food was good. I’ve always liked golf course food and this one did not disappoint. If you have a chance to come definitely try this place out.
A greatly maintained course. Its layout is somewhat confusing by hole 13 at Babe course. Loved the green condition.
Played on a Monday, course is in great shape! Everyone pleasantly checked us in. Very impressive layout and difficult greens. There’s plenty of bunker play. Each hole was a challenge with a few with water hazards. It’s well worth the drive.
One of my favorite golf courses as a new guy to the sport. Golf carts with a lot of amenities with food and drink. Definitely a challenging course and very narrow. I did the babe I believe and will do the other side next time.

The restaurant after 18 holes is pretty great with excellent food. I would love to stay on site at their nearby hotel for a full experience.

Redid the “Babe” and it was fun and challenging. Overall it’s a great golfing experience for the price. Great views and a restiarant when you’re done.

Just did “the babe” again and it was excellent. It was definitely challenging but it was worth the price. I lost a lot of golf balls but I enjoyed the whole experience.

The carts have a gps screen that guides you(has your pace also & location along with golf carts ahead of you) and the carts have coolers for beers etc too. Best cart experience by far but there is a lot of “Stay on cart path” areas and it’ll slow your cart down until you get on path.

Completed the Ike today and that was fun, a lot more challenging than the babe. Overall it was a satisfying course for an amateur/leisure golfer.
