We had a great time playing in the SOS Care and 104.1 WAVE charity golf tournament. Greens were in great shape, and the course was a fun one to play. It's not too incredibly challenging, but it's not the easiest course at the beach either. In my opinion it's a really good course for just about any golfer of any skill level to play and really enjoy themselves.

Overall a good and enjoyable layout with plenty of potential. On the downside, tee boxes are some of the worst I have seen in a while, fairways are subpar, and greens are decent. Expected better conditions during peak season…Chipping green is absolutely atrocious and I was disappointed to find that driving range is not open in mornings. Course was not worth 60 dollars in the morning, would recommend playing elsewhere.

Course overall was alright. Starting staff was friendly and very helpful. Staff inside was not the best at all. Went inside to get food and drinks after 9, and lady behind the counter said they are done serving food an hour early, with no explanation. Was then told “you can just go get food out of the fridge, it’s fine.” We did grab a sandwich with soggy bread that you could tell has been there for a good amount of time. Fairways were mediocre at best, same with the tee boxes. Can go to much nicer course with the same, if not a cheaper price.

Would give this course a higher rating. The greens were in good shape and putted well. I would give them a 8/10. The fairways and tee boxes had issues in places. Some were good and in good shape. Some were bare and in poor condition. 6/10 for them. My chief complaint is the horrendous pace of play. A course of this layout should not take 4:45 minutes to play 18. No ranger. Starter told us to follow the group ahead of us but to get going because they were squeezing people in. Still teed off 15 minutes behind schedule. Not expected for an early morning tee time. Needless to say I will not come back nor recommend to others.

Overall the course was in good condition. Greens were pretty fast but it was consistent throughout the round. Pace of play was pretty much on target. Unfortunately we had to stop twice to let the rain pass through. Course drained very quickly. Overall it was a great course at a very reasonable rate. Will definitely play it again next trip.

I had a great time out here the other day. The course was in beautiful shape, all the workers had incredible customer service skills, and the round for myself was only about four and a half hours. Overall, an amazing day on the links. Next time I come down here, I’ll make it a priority to come back and play here!!! Thank you.

I played once about a year ago and that experience was the exact same as today if not worse due to the ranger guy being disrespectful and saying a racial slur. He wont there this time which was good. Also, wanted to give it a second chance today before leaving review. It will be our family's last time going back.
Being a local in MB and having played many other courses here, I take a lot of circumstances and things into consideration before my final thoughts on the course. (Weather, holidays, etc.).
I agree with what Phillip said in his review. POOR tee time management. Sling shot effect the whole time. Waiting, rushing, people hitting into fairways while others or yourself are putting or sometimes still hitting.
Greens are in good condition and the layout is nice. Price is okay, not too challenging distance wise. I recommend trying out Azalea Sands right next door for a more enjoyable round. Unfortunately, we wont be going back.

This course has stepped its game up. Greens in good condition and staff is very polite!
Wife & I enjoyed it, not to challenging, good fairways, def recommend for beginner and average golfers. We’ll be back!

Excellent course for having a good time. Nice fairways and greens, playable track for all skill levels. Peak season rounds may take longer but show me a course on the grand strand that isn’t the case… reasonably priced and centrally located, Beachwood is a great track just watch your snacks in the cart because the squirrels have no fear

We have been coming to Azalea Sands since 2019.I am so pleased and impressed with the work that has taken place at this course, since our returning to Canada last May..not only is the course much better, but this club has the best staff on the strand in my opinion..everyone we meet welcomes us,asks about our day, anything they can do to make our outing more pleasurable.....I mean everybody with a name tag..
I met the general manager during our round on the 20th of April and found him to be no different then the rest of the staff, very approachable....and I must add....best French fries I've had at any club...Keep up the good work, you are certainly headed in the right direction....cheers y'all

We played at the Azalea Sands golf Club while being on vacation. We were looking for a place near the Barefoot area. We were pleased with our choice. The staff was friendly. The carts are modern and equipped with a gps. We played in April so their was some dried grass area but overall it was a nice golf court. We also like the fact that you can play a 9 hole in late afternoon.

Really fun golf course. Great views and def gives a challenege for all skill levels. Greens roll true and arent too fast. A few difficult holes, very little water in play. The staff was and a very good bar and food.

Not a bad course to play. Might be fun during twilight when less people are out but tee times are to close together.

My first time playing here/Myrtle Beach. It’s a decent course. Greens are faster than they look. In good shape. My only negative is that they pack you in back to back on tee times so you do a lot of waiting. 7 minute tee times isn’t ideal at this course.

Fun place to play some golf in the NMB area! Greens were in good shape for the dead of winter. Nice beginner course.

You won't be disappointed by this 1972 Gene Hamm layout. Lots of improvements over the last few years to make this a must play on the Grand Strand. The course drains exceptionally well and is rarely cart path only. Walkers are welcome at almost anytime. The greens are rolling very true and are poa free. The course has chosen to not overseed to be able to provide more consistent playing days and improve coverage of turf. The clubhouse staff is second to none and thoroughly enjoy interacting with guests. Give this place a try!
