David set up room to perfection. The staff attended every need. However most the food was good in exception of the chicken Alfredo. It was dry.
Course is not worth what they charge to play it. At best, a $40 - $50 course. Most tee boxes are horrible. A number of greens have bare spots around them and some have sand filled bare spots on the greens. Too many nicer course in the area to be paying $79.99 to play this place. On top of that, the course isn’t even listed in the GHIN handicap system. I have played over150 different courses in Florida and this is the first I have played that is not in the GHIN system.
Dubsdread Golf Course - Is like a multi- course meal.

It started with a pleasant welcome greeting from Herman in the proshop. He set us up with the round, golf clubs, and practice balls for the range. He confirmed that it is Dubsdread's 100th anniversary! We purchased a commemorative ball marker. This course is the original home of the Orlando Open! It's definitely a mature traditional course.

It has a unique driving range, and all targets must carry water! Putting, sand pits, and putting green are in good condition.

Challenging for the average golfer, with assorted hazzards and water (remember the practice driving range).

I saved the best for last. Dubsdread is home of the Tap Room. This popular local restaurant has food and service that made us want to golf just to return for a great local meal. Heyley and Beth Ann gave us great service. The Tap Room features new great specials for every day of the week!😋 The food is cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous!

We started our meal with a fat tire lager, balsamic & blue cheese chips (a Tap Room specialty), and lump crab and cheese dip. Both were exceptional!

I had the bbq rib special, which could easily feed three. The ribs were so tender, I only needed my fork for the meal. My wife had the parmesian encrusted fresh grouper. It was moist with large flakey texture. The meal was topped off with key lime pie. All are Floridian favorites!

I can see why the locals want to keep returning!🥰

Indoor and outdoor dining. There are stairs making access more difficult. Family friendly. Watch out, the menu changes at 4pm lunch/dinner. Brunch on Sunday is very crowded!
Great golf course!! This is a challenging course where accuracy is a must on most holes. The greens and fairways are in top condition. The service is better than other courses in the area. You will get a good round of golf for the money.

Dubsdread Golf Course is a beautiful, old-school course with plenty of charm. It was an enjoyable, relaxing day with good friends. Definitely on my list of favorite courses in Florida.

I've played courses all over the country and this is probably one of the nicest public courses that I've had the pleasure to play! Only 6100 yards from the tips but a ton of character and the condition of the course was impressive. If you are ever in the Orlando area give this track a go, you won't be disappointed! And the Tap Room has great food and drink after the round!
Excellent and very challenging golf course. Mid April was a solid rate with good pace. Rentals were Wilson game improvement set in good shape for $55. Some people mentioned here some patchy greens, my experience was some fringes did have some patches but it never once got into play or caused a problem. Great and memorable time!
A little pricy, but golf course was in great shape. Staff was friendly, and always had refreshments on the course. Just think the going rate is high, especially with the older carts. Would play this course more if it wasn’t so expensive. Green fee was over $100.

Great experience. We just finished an annual Spring get together with 90 holes in four days. The others included Legends/Orange Lake, Falcons Fire, Hawks Landing and Celebration. This was the finale and our first experience here. Chosen for proximity to the airport, the course was scenic, playable, fair, with nice facilities. With lots of variety, it was calming to be away from the frenetic pace around Disney/Kissimmee. Nice pro shop and great grill food. We are adding it to the rota.
The staff at Dubsdread are very kind, efficient, and organized. I lost my Dubsdread range card (with $215 on it) and Ms. Tonya and the pro shop looked up my account to issue a replacement. In addition to excellent customer service, Dubsdread has well-kept grounds and affordable lessons for all ages. I would highly recommend visiting this course! ⛳️

Found this course tight and challenging with many holes lined with houses. This course demands you to be careful off the tee. Not especially long and you can find yourself in good position even if you swing iron off the tee. Greens were rolling at a 10 and were in great shape.

The staff were extremely welcoming. we had to rent clubs and they gave us brand new Srixon/Cleveland sets.

golf carts had maps/gps that you could also keep score on.

Best golf deal we found in Orlando.
Played course on January 8th, 2024. This is a shorter course than normal but still outstanding. They have a good practice facility with the driving range, chipping, and putting green. The workers in the clubhouse were very helpful being that it was my first time. As for the course it has its challenging holes and a lot of elevation challenges with some of the greens being on hills. The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens well maintained. There is not one bad green on this course. Shoutout to the greens keepers, they do a great job and should be recognized. I highly recommend this course to all. Only suggestion is to check the water quality coming out of the water fountains, it taste very suspect and has little black flakes coming out of them.
The course in the second week of December is really green. They have over seeded and it looks great. The greens are a touch hard but not an issue if you can spin the ball. The bunkers have a ton of sand in them so depending on how you play bunkers, that could be good or bad. They make 4 holes each day cart path only to help the grass grow in.
Now for the big issue. $165 which is fine since it is a resort course in good shape. However it was 3 hours and 10 mins before we teed off on 11. We did end up finishing in just over 5 hrs but by 11 it was hard not to be checked out. Waiting on every shot. What was so frustrating was it felt like even though we called and talked to the PA, they just didn’t care. Im not sure how much they can really do but it was almost an attitude of it is what it is. No empathy at all. If you are going to charge $150+ then have 10 min tee times. Or charge $185-$200.
We played Orange County the next day and their PA was on the course pushing everyone to a fair pace. (Only paid $115) We saw the PA 5 times. I think that helps a lot.
Waldorf Course was pretty but we will not be back. I guess since it’s so close to Disney they can get away with the super slow rounds.
Played here in Dec 2023 a day after playing at Lake Buena Vista- the course was still in the middle of renovating three of the back holes so the 15th, 16th and 17th holes were shortened to par 4/3/3 respectively. Still, we still got the classic Disney golf course expensive - with the Mickey Mouse bunker on the 6th and the Mickey golf cart at the pro shop. Plenty of wildlife on the course too, from the turkeys to the deer. 🦌

It's been a while since I last played this course. 11/30/23, this course is in excellent condition, with just a couple of fairways with muds (not a big deal), but overall, from tee to greens, it's really very good. Greens are in perfect and rolling pretty well.
Can't beat the green fee for $49.
Great day at the course the course is almost complete it was a great time. ⛳️ kids had a blast golfing in this style of grass they normally don’t get to play on. Food was great staff was great except the shuttle driver he wasn’t Disney and super rude they should just use the Minnie vans to transport guest would be my suggestion. Will be back and tons of merch in the store
This a nice short course, it’s conditioning however leaves something to be desired. The Tee boxes were extremely long and it was a bit rough around the edges. We paid over 70$ US as we were not residents and I would say because of the shape it was in it probably should have been $20 less.
The staff that were here were fantastic though. Pro shop was awesome as was the food counter. Food was reasonable and tasty.
Right now it’s only a 14 hole course as they are renovating the last 4 holes. The course was in great shape and the greens are super fast. They had hard pin placement when I was there. We got a good deal on Teeoff in the afternoon and beers were reasonably priced at $5 or 6 for $25. The golf carts have GPS too which is nice.
Currently (08/2023), only 14 holes are open & playable due to redesign & construction but the course condition is "Tournament-Ready"!
Be aware that your app GPS mapping of #14 is probably outdated.

I didn't play well but the course was pretty and we saw a fair amount of wildlife. Brings back memories when i worked at Disney Golf courses back in the early 2000s.

Great course in immaculate condition for the most part. There is some construction work going on which affected the last 2 holes.

Overall a very enjoyable round with no delays. Almost felt too quick as I could have enjoyed the surroundings for longer.

Would definitely play again.
beautiful course and the hospitality was above par 😉 Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a great experience on the course.

Took advantage of the Sunset9 rate, tee’d off at 5:30p and finished with plenty of sunlight.

I'm 55 years old and have never taken a lesson. Definitely should have done this years ago. David was very knowledgeable and showed me exactly what I need to work on to improve my game.
Really nice golf course ⛳️. It has dog leg holes and some holes that you can't see the green. It is fun to play, and it plays relatively long from the back tees (black). Greens are in excellent shape. Although some of them have bad spots. Fairways are in nice shape as well. Practice area is okay. Golf cars are a little bit old.
Really fun place and a great course. Challenging course but play a but playable for all levels.. Had a great time well maintained carts were in top shape by highly recommended this course
Great first day of instruction. Second day was 90 mins of the 4 hours of hitting balls on the range without the instructor. The teacher was very good while he was instructing. Facilities are excellent.
Great golf course, great facility, large pro shop with tons of options for men and women... Nice grass on the driving range and nice n flat... Beautiful entrance to this facility and then to the course, great layout, plenty of room for the most part but you'll definitely pay if you get it off line.... Bunkers were perfect!! Greens were large with some slope to them and they rolled about a 10.5 and very true
Great golf course, top notch service when pulling up.... Practice facility and balls were about the worst part of this whole spot... Great putting and chipping area... Golf course layout is tough but there's a little room for errant shots, plenty of water and very well placed bunkers throughout the course, the bunkers were in absolute perfect shape!!! I played in the rain ( as seen in the pictures ) so it was plenty wet but the course drained great and the traps were still perfect.... Then the greens!!! Tons of slope and undulation, absolutely perfect condition and in the rain still rolled about a 12....pro shop pretty small and more items to choose from would be nice, restaurant and bar was closed the day we played but at the turn the pool bar works just fine
I actually would consider 5 stars, but there were a couple things off. First, there was no one to greet me at the bag drop immediately. The cart was in very good condition, charging outlet and GPS. The driving range was nice, free balls, but l was required to hit off the mats. I didn’t use the putting green. For the most part, from tee to green the course was in very good shape. Some wet areas, but we’ve had a lot of rain recently. The traps are deep, and there was a little puddling, but expected. Greens rolled wonderfully. I really like the yardage marked on every tee box. No cart girl, but they did provide free ice cold bottled water. I most definitely would return.
Top place to play golf in Orlando! The only bummer was they did not have the food/beverage carts out and the bar was closed at the golf club house. due to covid so we get that. Other then that the course is in great shape! A must if you are in Orlando.
Golfing here was truly amazing. I'm a novice player and did fairly well. There are challenging water and bunker holes. There are deer and turkey walking around. The course is very well taken care of, spacious fairways, and multiple tee positions. I did not feel rushed at all and the staff is great and organized.
I've had 1 on 1 training. It has been great. Work on the range, gone inside to get video for training and then more work on the putting greens. The 4 hours this morning went quickly. Then I had a nice time playing 9 holes this afternoon. I love it.
This is only for the golf course.. Played with my buddy there recently... it is very nicely maintained. It does not have par 5 holes, but greens are very nice. Fairway is wide open, so you don't have to worry about losing your balls :-) Also, nicely blended scences of buildings, waters, and plants.
I'm giving 4 stars because it's a beautiful course and in decent condition for the money. I paid $55 (non resident) +$55 for rentals. The green fee is very reasonable for this course/club. But PLEASE NOTE if you're renting clubs...

The driver was an old beatup Goodwill Dunlop. Frayed grib, horrible head super sloppy shaft. It's a $5 Goodwill find. My 3wood was a left hand club, and one of the putters had lost its insert. Essentially turning your putter into a sandwedge. So all round I'm sharing clubs switching putters on the green and borrowing woods. Also, for a swampy and sandy Orlando course, you'd think they would provide a club towel. Or idk a couple tees? At $55 I should at least be getting a full, usable set of clubs and a towel. With all that said I would definitely play here again if traveling with my own clubs.
We had the BEST experience at this course! Every single employee was helpful and extremely friendly. We had an incredible lunch which was a great break from the heat.I had the pleasure of meeting Adriana who takes care of the bathrooms which were SPOTLESS. I would recommend this course to anyone !

Wow... just wow! We went on a Hot Deal from Golf Now for $50, but this has been a course I've wanted to play for a while. Cheap summer rates usually means the greens have been punched, And they were (is what it is) Probably a couple weeks out for them to be back to normal. That being said, the course was in great shape, literally like hitting off the carpet in your house. The course has a great layout and everything is well manicured. The first course this Summer whose greens weren't attacked by nematodes. Everything is just esthetically pleasing
All the greens are raised and are protected well by the course... going long usually means being wet! The employees were all very nice a and attentive. Carts are provided with Tees, towels and bottled water in the Golf Cart cooler. A water station is also provided out on the course for refills ( they also have free ball markers available) the cartgirl comes by several times to brighten your day and keep you hydrated. After playing off several Goat Ranches ( bad fairways and greens )this Summer, it was a real pleasure playing here. I'll have to come back next summer. If you are in Orlando and are looking for an excellent course, swing on by.
Course was in great shape and the pace of play was perfect. All the staff members were polite and made us feel very welcomed. We also stuck around for lunch in the clubhouse afterwards and the food was awesome...their Cuban sandwich was one of the best I’ve had!
Chipping green was amazing. But flooded with golf balls that everyone is done with. I was harassed for accepting balls that people didn’t want. Literally the lady said “here’s some extra practice for you, good luck”. The GM Chris, although much nicer than the ranger guy, said I am stealing and costing them money in divots. That sweet lady would’ve had a fit if she would’ve seen them harass me about this. Wedge area was nice too. But apparently I was the rule breaker of the day, because the ranger told us it was wedges only directly to us when people literally hitting long irons next to us. I pointed them out and the ranger said basically when you’re a great player you can do whatever! I just felt uncomfortable and attacked all day. I don’t know why but it was weird and unusual. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the race card in my pocket.

Phenomenal track. Very well maintained and in great shape. Nice practice area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The course is legit. Long but also pretty wide. Approach shots are tough but the greens are true. GPS in the carts. Played fast and for the $60 online rate, it was an incredible value. Highly recommend.
My group had such a wonderful time at the Marriot Golf Academy! Staff in the pro shop was friendly, professional, cheerful and added to our morning with a fantastic sense of humor. We were able to get an extra golf cart, complimentary, for a member of our group with an injured foot who only wanted to accompany us, which was deeply appreciated. The course is lush and wonderfully laid out so that most of the round feels like a totally private experience. Every staffer we encountered was helpful and affable in every way. We appreciated the cold towels - especially with the heat. The course was extremely damp, but it really didn't change how much we enjoyed our round one bit.
Excellent course.. Long (longer now because of all the rain?) and challenging.. Back 9 is alot tougher.. All the holes are longer than they appear..
Staff was excellent..
I will need to play this again when is dryer...
Didn't realize it was short course till I arrived but was not disappointed. Just what I needed. Played 18 only marred by very slow foursomes on the last 4 holes, and lack of water on the course - coolers were empty and not filled even though I let them know. Otherwise a 5. Staff were super nice. Nice chipping area and range. DO take a cart - it is not walkable.
