Top Public golf courses in Pickering, Canada

Played 18 holes at PGC for the first time, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at how well kept and challenging the course was. I would definitely go back and play 9 holes instead.

Golf course is in great shape. Must be one of the more challenging publicly-accessible courses in the GTA, and the greenskeeper wasn’t making it any easier with the hole placement. Only other thing to note is I can see the layout causing some anxiety - you end up crisscrossing over other holes a lot, so be weary of other golfers and their shots!

I had horrible experience playing here today as people who play here often. First of all, no one was at the front desk when we came in and we had to look around for the person. This resulted in us teeing off later than expected, which was fine, no issues. But it gets worse from there because on the 5th hole, we see a man playing and we wait to tee off, and when we approach the green, this same man approaches us while we are putting and asks us why we are behind him. Little did we know it's the same person from the front desk but he came up to us not introducing himself as the Marshall but instead rudely accuses us of playing and stealing extra holes. Maybe if you weren't busy playing the course and instead was watching and doing your own job, you'd know that we did in fact not skip holes. We know he did not play hole 3 and 4 which are side by side par 3s, because we didn't see them at all while playing them. It is also just a bad look if your own paying customers have to wait to tee off behind the Marshall who decides to just jump in and start playing with his buddy.

On top of that, he told us it was 2:30 and he couldn't believe why we are still on the 5th hole but we teed off at 1:10 and the time when he approached us was actually 2:18, not 2:30 as he stated which means he lied to us. The whole situation was a weird power trip and I do not even want to go back here after this experience. I hope you correct your own staff.

I was surprised at how well this cute little 9 hole course was maintained. Definitely didn't expect that given the price point, and It's definitely worth the price. Great value course to work on the short stuff.

Played here and enjoyed the round, course is in good shape and some challenging lines. NO driving range, you have to go somewhere else to practice.

The price was right and it was nice and challenging
BUT they need to rent push carts. I did 9 holes twice with my clubs on my back. And it is very hilly. Good exercise but not easy!

Favourite golf course for my friends and I. We are mid to high handicappers, this course gives us a perfect mix of all types of difficulty for players of our level with some beautiful holes. Price is very reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly. Can't wait to go back again.
