A rather interesting course to play at.

A LOT of up and down hill, especially their signature Hole 18, which is a Par 6 hole (first time ever for me), it goes big downhill first, and a big uphill in front of green, not just the distance and accuracy, but also your course management skill, to lay up for your next shot.

Was surprised to find out that this is actually a more than 100 years old course, big tribute to it 👍
Awesome terrain and nice views of the bay and the city from a rare perspective. Fairways and greens are ok, but not great. Cart trails are messy, like off road driving on the golf course. Main building seems in renovation, so be ready for some containers and mobile restrooms.
Nine hole track was a great walk. Some beautiful views great prices
Pretty fun course. If you’re not big on elevation change this is obviously not the place for you. Gotta hit it long enough to not get stuck down low on the holes that go back uphill & if you struggle with getting enough height on your irons it’s gonna be a long day. Greens are small so there’s a premium on your shorter clubs for approach shots as well. Plenty of fun holes and chances to really bomb it from the elevated tees. The little snack shack over by 3 & 12 was great, really good dogs and the drinks are well priced. Played in about 5hrs flat but it didn’t feel super slow. Some cool pockets of the forest you end up in and a couple of really great views towards the end.

The greens were the only thing keeping it back from really being a great round for us on Saturday. We played pretty early in the day and it still felt like all the greens were straight up trampled. Almost in a weird kind of bad shape- didn’t seem like they had just been punched or anything, they just sorta sucked to putt on. Saw a few longer ones through the day that looked like they were bouncing down a Plinko board with how many times the ball got moved off it’s line. Would have been a lot more fun if they were rolling true. Course might be rated a little easier than it actually plays- I’ve played easier courses sloped higher for sure. Would definitely play it again if someone asks me to meet em out there but I’d be more inclined to go of my own accord if I knew that the greens were usually better than this last weekend.
I can’t name a course I’ve played like this. Only 5900 yards from blues but I was a club short all day. Finally figured it out on the back 9. You truly need to club up on any approach. Greens are relatively tiny and seem to sit flat. I can’t wait to come back bc course knowledge on this course is a must! This course has to be a blast dry.
Great golf course with breathtakingly beautiful view. Price competitive and no crowd (I played on Monday afternoon). It is quite challenging on certain holes. Par-6 is a great one and I somehow managed to birdie it.
Played tons of rounds here (all disc golf). It's my most favorite course in the bay area - the front 9 is great for all skill levels, the back 9 is a tough challenge but it's still super fun. This is a must play course for anyone in the area.

I’ve lived in the East Bay my entire life and for some reason I’ve never got around to playing here. I’m sad I didn’t come here sooner. It has an old school feel to it right when you enter the front gates. The clubhouse is charming and modeled after the old Spanish style. Putting and chipping areas are well maintained, and there’s a nice little driving range attached. The snack shack is run by some ladies with great energy and equally great tasting food. The course itself is in good condition especially for a muni. The greens are small and challenging, the fairways tight at times and you’ll definitely have some tricky side hill lies and elevation changes, but it makes for a fun play. Some of the views are simply stunning as well. Overall, it’s a fun course and I’ll be back to again soon.
