Cheap but decent food. I can’t find a reason not coming to this place when craving for a quick lunch before catching the train at Hbf.

One of the best Arabic food in Mainz, everything here delicious. It gets too crowded all the time because it’s not really organized. They should have someone taking orders only and others preparation food. This can help organize the place and help customers easily and smoothly.
Food here is the best, we had Shawarma sandwich and I was really surprised how good it was. Also had rice with Kofta and Magali.

Ich hatte eine großartige Erfahrung im Damaskus Restaurant in Mainz. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, besonders die Falafel, die genau wie die originalen Falafel in Syrien schmeckten. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, was das gesamte Essenserlebnis noch angenehmer machte. Sehr empfehlenswert!
I ordered a meal to take away and I couldn’t eat it because the chicken was super burned. They didn’t even care about it. Very disappointed of this place. I won’t come back.

Food: really tasty, fresh, healthy, big portions, diverse. Prices: for this food the price is great, one plate is 7 euros, you can just mix different things on it! Would eat there every week if we would live in Mainz!!! Thanks!!!!

Ich habe mich während meiner kurzen Umsteigezeit für diesen Laden und sein Halal-Essen entschieden und bin sehr zufrieden mit meiner Wahl. Das Essen war köstlich und der Preis akzeptabel. Gerne würde ich hier nochmals essen.
Auf Nachfrage wurde mir ein sehr leckerer veganer Mix-Teller zubereitet. Top!

Richtig leckeres Essen, mega günstig, total freundlicher Service. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen wenn man schnell was essen mag :)
good Lebanese takeaway, recommend the falafel sandwich and the hummus. The snack bar is very popular, but there is a bit of a wait around lunchtime. The ambiance is a bit rustic. Employee motivation somewhat changeable
I have done take out twice and so far I am impressed with the quality and the taste of the food, a really excellent experience. Good selection of meals and beverages - the mixed spiess platter is my absolute favorite as the meat is tender and juicy. There is a small seating area inside the restaurant, but there are no toilets inside and the payment is possible only with cash. Visited in May 2022.
Very very good food! Extremely comforting and generous, we had rice with a few different dishes and some Falafel with Tahini sauce on top, and a Baqlawa for dessert, everything was spectacular. I'm writing this while still sitting in the place after food and I know I will be back here whenever I'm in Mainz again.
This place is amazing! The food is very tasty & rich. Perfect variety and even the simplest dishes (for exemple the rice) are incredibly tasty. The place itself is comfortable and the staff super friendly!
