Top Kebab shops in Raleigh, United States

There are lots of delicious options if you’re hungry while shopping at Crabtree Mall in Raleigh North Carolina and Kabobi is one of them but we regret buying food from Kabobi.
What turned me off was the food is not made fresh and everything they serve is sitting in warmers getting dry even the Kababs.
The quantity of food they serve is very little and it was clear when we sat down to eat, nothing tasted fresh specially rice that came with the meal tasted like it was made yesterday.
Overall experience was very disappointing and customer service was just satisfactory.

This is definitely the best food I’ve ever had in a mall food court! Everything is halal too. One thing I wish they would do is include hummus as a side though.

I don't like the huge portion of just the med salad that you get instead of something else. I'd like more variety. But the food is good enough and for a quick pick me up at a mall, I'd go for it. The flavor is lacking a bit.

I go there a lot to eat. The food is delicious as always. I asked for a chicken with leg and thy curry and they got it from the warmer. They did not put gravy over it. I ordered four plates . The second one I was watching and asked her to put gravy on it, I got home and realized they had forgot to put gravy on my other plate. I spent $53. The owner said why didn’t you ask me before. Quite frankly they should be asking me. The breast piece sitting in the juice has gravy on it why in the hell should I have to ask. One time they gave me gravy but left the chicken off. The owner had a nasty attitude. Do you know the golden rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated.. I have spent a lot of money at your restaurant if you do not appreciate my business I will go elsewhere. When you gave me gravy that was left off after I came back it was more like juice rather than the thicker gravy in the curry chicken. I am angry and I do not appreciate how I was treated today. Treat all customers well especially repeat customers and do not take them for granted.

First time and last time going there , rude staff , i ordred chicken shawarma but they give me lettuce shawarma 🤷‍♂️ well put more chicken and less lettuce , wth

I ordered kebobi mixed special platter. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat them. The taste is real bad. Cold and waited for a long time. The only thing people choose this restaurant: halal sing.
I think it is better to drive a halal restaurant out of mall or other restaurants easily cook halal food, just ask them! Not eat anything like this!

There aren't enough stars for the ubiquitous flavors contained in this Veggie Platter. This place absolutely nailed what they do. I had the Falafel, Tabouli, Baba Ganoush, Grape Leaves. Every bite was different fresh flavored experience. I travel a ton and love Mediterranean Food and this place is in the top % of great!

Great food would recommend! Friendly staff. Wish they had garlic sauce to complement their kabobs but overall great place for a quick bite I got the chicken kabob and lamb kabob with spicy rice

This is a great grab and go spot for when you're in the mood for something other than the typical fast food fare.

I order the falafel sandwich. It's way more than I expected, loaded falafel that's crispy on the outside and toothsome on the inside, tomatoes, tahini, pickles and lettuce. My only complaint is it came with only three pieces of falafel.

My wife ordered the lamb gyro. It's modest for the price, but certainly not small. The meat was flavorful not just salty. The vegetables were fresh and the tzatziki was great.

The menu is varied enough that everyone in your group can find something to order. Seating inside is non-existent, just a small bar, so be prepared.

Halal and Good tasting food, well maintained kitchen and polite staff, more than decent portions for the size of platter you order. A must visit for folks looking for a decent Halal meal few minutes away from Raleigh downtown

My family and I are visiting from NJ. Mona's food was amazing hospitality was the greatest. Price was very reasonable. Quality food
and portion size was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.

For $28...2 plates...these have to be a lunch plates. I've had gyros bigger than this plate. And the the woman didn't hand me my card to me in my hand. I find that offensive. They will not get my money ever again

Best Mediterranean food I’ve had, super authentic and the woman was so sweet! Even though she was the only one cooking, our food was ready so fast. I got the mixed grill platter and it was so good, plus that way I got to try all the kinds of meat. And on top of that, the price was good! Definitely would recommend!

Ate the lamb shank platter with spicy biryani rice and chickpeas. It was delicious. The serving size was good too. Halal option at the mall.

Big ol' hair in my order of the Chicken kabob platter. (Photo attached.) So many feelings but, honestly, just really disappointed because I really liked the food in the past.

This is a small fast food place. There is no indoor dining, there are tables and chairs outside where you can eat.
I ordered a lamb gyro and fries.
The gyro was okay nothing special about it. They didn't put peppers on mine like I ordered.
The fries were cooked on point. Fried on the outside and nice and soft inside. I added seasoning salt to mine.
Service was fast.
Prices were reasonable for area.
I probably won't eat there again. Not with all the other food options around. For five dollars more you can go to a sit down restaurant and get better food.

Outstanding! The mixed grill is incredible. Chicken kebab, beef kabob, and kafta kabob. The kafta was crisp on the outside and tender inside. The babaganuj is smoky and delicious. The hummus comes with a spicy pepper blend on top which was a nice touch. The portions are generous. The sides are very inexpensive, perfect for tapas style. The couple running it were super sweet and treated us like family. The Turkish coffee is out of this world! Move over Starbucks!

I went here for dinner tonight, and the food AND service did not disappoint! I’ve never had Mediterranean food before, and wanted to try something different. I was greeted when I walked in, and let them know it was my first time and asked what chicken dish do they recommend. I was told that both the chicken kabob and chicken shawarma were good, but that the lamb was also very good! The woman offered me a piece of lamb, and this was my first time having lamb, so I have no clue what it’s supposed to taste like, but it was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever tasted in my life!!! I ended up getting the lamb gyro platter I believe, and a side order of falafel. The food was amazing, and I appreciated the friendly atmosphere! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend Mona Pita!

Amazing food! Fresh crisp salad comes with delicious platters. And you'll adore the chef! She's a wonderful woman who takes real pride in making her customers feel welcome. Her food is made with love and you can taste it!

Worst Chicken Sandwich and Fries. It looks good but not in taste. If you really looking to have Mediterranean taste of food, Please don’t try it. Don’t go for its name!

I enjoy fast ethnic places. This is a small grab and go restaurant. It is Mediterranean style food so gyros, tabouli, hummus baba ganoush and kabobs.

The flavors are spot on for mild Mediterranean food in my opinion. The lamb was mild, chick was white meat and beef we well seasoned.

I read a few reviews about the meat being dry. I was happy with the beef and lamb but the chicken was a bit dry. It was not so dry that I need to drink after every bit and the sauces and sides can easily help with any dryness.

I was pleased with the size of portions, it felt about right for the price. Might feel a bit high since it is a grab and go and not a sit down, but I highly suggest it to anyone.

Also you can buy the sides by the pound. Could be a great idea for a side dish at home, party or office.

Every time I have been to this place the quality and the service were the same. All the cooking utensils are clean and the person using them (I'm guessing is the owner) keeps everything in order. The food is good, service was quick. The only observation I have, same as what another person has said, they're using styrofoam boxes (see picture) which could be avoided.
