I ordered the chicken souvlaki wrap for the first time here at Shawarma Jwan and it was beyond my expectations. It is the perfect size and worth its price. I love ordering from here!
Was recommended to us by Baghdad Market. We are glad we listened to them because the food here was delicious. Everything was good especially the kebab ✨
Came from Hamilton to try this place. The kabobs, and the shawarma were so good! We told everyone in Hamilton to make the trip and try this food. The owner and staff were more than welcoming! We will be back!
As it’s the last week of school before the holidays, my co-workers and I decided to order food from here as a treat for ourselves. We had a parent bring us food from here before and it was delicious.
We ordered kabob, chicken tikka, rice, salad and Iraqi bread. My goodness it was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed and there was not a grain of rice left. I placed the order with Peter and he was so pleasant and helpful. Also spoke with his uncle and he was just as nice. I would 10000% go back here over and over and fulfill my kabob cravings on a regular. The prices are also very reasonable. Portions are great. Nothing bad to say. If you want to eat some amazing food, just go here.

Shawarma was good but prices are quite high. A large chicken shawarma was $15 and that was only for the wrap, no sides or drink. I would expect $15 would be for a combo as the wrap itself wasn’t even that big, I had to ask for extra veggies and they measure out exactly 1 cup of chicken. Service was fine. I probably won’t visit again. Overpriced.
Great place. Habib was very patient and took his time to know what and my wife wanted and served us a fantastic Veg Salad with Falafal. The taste was awesome the atmosphere was fantastic and premises was kept clean. Will definitely be coming here again and also will be recommending this place to my friends.
I went there for lunch and ordered beef shawarma combo. The shawarma was big chunks or meet, not fresh and I had a hard time chewing it that I had to spit out. They were out of Sai bread and it wasn’t even lunch time. The lentil soup was the best thing I ordered which is why I gave this place a two star review.
Great food, always consistent, delicious and fresh. Friendly customer service and my go-to spot for shawarma in Vaughan! Recommend this spot for take out, dine in and catering.

Chicken shawarma plates were good. Their potatoes in particular are some of the best I’ve had. The chicken portion was light in comparison to other shawarma spots in town, which was my only criticism. The taste and portions of my sides made up for that.
Tried this place for the first time today. Bought two shawarma wraps and was told to wait a few minutes so the chicken had more time to cook on the spit. I ate the first wrap and found it to taste good, my wife took a bite out of hers and found the chicken inside to be pink and soft. I brought hers back and demanded a refund, as the chicken was raw. The girl handing me the refund didn’t even speak a single word to me and looked very upset that I asked for a refund. Next time when your chicken wasn’t ready, tell your customers to come back later as opposed to taking chances getting people sick. Let’s just say I won’t be returning here again.
Really generous with the portions! After about 10 good bites, the wrap stood no chance against the shear value of topping packed into it. I ended up having to eat my chicken shawarma wrap with my most primitive animal instincts as it was crumbling apart from the enormity of the value contained in the wrap. No fork, no knife, just stuffing my face into a potpourri of shawarma wrap fillings on the paper wrapping, which, god willing, held up throughout the fight.
This review is regarding the owner and the management, NOT the staff. I came here to realize that these workers are being forced to smile. Also if they don’t then anyone can just complain that they didn’t smile with no hard proof evidence. The most exploitative management I’ve ever seen and heard. These people work hard in this country to be deceived by these greedy owners. These insane standards being used because they don’t know their rights. I will report this to the ministry of labour.
Absolutely outstanding experience at Pita Land! The food was incredibly delicious, offering a wide range of flavorful options that satisfied every palate. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience enjoyable. The ambiance was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. I can't wait to visit Pita Land again soon!
Simran and Raj were very nice and good workers that made my order perfect and it had just amount of sauces to complete the tasty chicken. It was not dry at all. Very good and will come back here again if I see them making my order.
Horrible customer service, chicken was completely dry and when I called them back they were rude to me and showed attitude. They increased their price so much you would think quality would improve
I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap from DoorDash since it was highly rated, however once I got it and took my first bite, I regretted it. The taste is not good, there was absolutely no garlic sauce or any sauce, the wrap tasted so dry and had such a off putting taste to the chicken. I really used to enjoy Pita Land, but after this experience I will never be ordered from here again.
We ordered the shawarma plate and a box. The quantity was so generous it could have been eaten by 2 people easily. The fries were fresh and hot. Overall, very good
Burrito bowl was so flavorful and the hummus was delicious. The falafel wrap was soft and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. The restaurant was clean and the service was very friendly.

Amazing authentic shawarma platters and wraps. The taste def takes you back in middleeast. Super juicy and flavourful ☺️ their shawarma poutines are 💯
I don’t usually get it from this location but the location on jane is way better. The portions here are always a bit smaller and I don’t understand why. Lettuce portion is always so small. It’s not disappointing.
Decided to come try this place out and It was delicious!! I got a chicken shawarma plate with some extra garlic sauce and hot sauce and was definitely impressed. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the customer service was great!! Big thank you to Elif for the wonderful experience

I love Pita Land!! Food is always fresh and very tasty. IlI always get the salad with beef and chicken shawarma mix. Roasted potatoes are also very good with garlic sauce. Shawarma wrap was also very good. They have two sizes in wraps. We got the smaller one and it was perfect for my 11 yo son. Like always, try it for yourself!!

This plate was massive! I was surprised but eh quantity hands down was the best and the food was fresh and very tasty. Was impressed since it was my first visit.
The only place open during tonight’s historic snowstorm! And sooo so glad I found it and tried their gigantic falafel (8 balls) wrap. Loaded to the max with like 5 sauces (hummus, tzatziki, chili, garlic, tahini) and every topping imaginable 😋 super friendly guy behind the counter as well and fast service! My usual go to spot was Mr Zagros but I’m definitely switching to Pita Land. Must try their shawarma next … it looked so juicy and yummy turning on the rotisserie behind the counter 🤤🤤🤤
One of my favourite places to get shawarma, my absolute favourite is their chicken plate! They’re delicious and always so consistent with their flavour. Decent places and they have the option of adding extra chicken.
Now this is indeed the best shawarma place in town, clean, very very tasty food, and very nice owners very generous, cozy place, trust me and ask for the beef shawarma with Iraqi sandwich bread and ask the owner to make it like the original Iraqi way, you will enter a different level of yummy.
Chicken Doner Sandwich tastes just fine nothing special. The portion is enough for one person but the price, $15.99, is a bit expensive. Ordered via Uber Eats.
The vegetables were nice and juicy. The rice was rather plain however, I prefer that as it allows the main player (the meat) to shine with all its flavour. The reason I am giving it a one star however, is the fact that the chicken I was given was filled with skin and fat. Skin is nice on fried chicken. I did not order fried chicken. They don’t serve fried chicken. So why does their chicken have skin? No one likes chewing on limp, rubbery, slimy skin. It’s so off putting that I couldn’t finish my meal (as you see in the picture). The meal I ordered was a shawarma chicken plate. I don’t know about their other meals. Hope this helped make your choice.
