Honestly speechless after this meal. First, the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating for my mom, who has a disability and wanted to make sure she was as comfortable as can be. Second, the food was beyond tasteful. It’s maybe the best food I’ve had in NYC. Everyone should eat at this restaurant. The espresso, ambience, staff, and food were all beyond perfect. I would eat here daily if I could.
Our favorite spot in NYC. We try to stop here every time we visit. Flavors are on point, vibe is eclectic, service is friendly. Risotto never disappoints. Just make sure you like risotto lol all made fresh and on the spot. And if you have dietary restrictions everything is gluten free and much can be made dairy free. The bruschetta is the BEST!
Whomever cooked my Salmon must be rewarded!! The staff here made my day!! The food was amazing!!! I am proud of this establishment for not changing for so long!!! Forget Dig or any others. This is the most colorful menu and cleanest kitchen by far!!
Good fast lunch spot. Usually in and out within a few minutes for takeout. The employees have been very kind and efficient each time I’ve gone in.

My wife ordered lemon shrimp risotto and I went for the truffle risotto ( they didn't have real truffles at this time) but it was very good and kept the at par with the real thing.

Discovering The Little beet was a happy accident that left me wanting more. So I returned recently for round 2.
The good: I focused on the chefs soup bowl, a mix of herbed basmati, dark meat chicken, and sautéed greens doused in a butternut squash soup (that becomes much more a sauce than a soup) garnished with a swirl of chimichurri. It’s honest and healthy and a great combination of flavors, with one exception. Certain foods (like beets!) are polarizing. Raisins are another and should always be made optional. Unfortunately they are sautéed into the greens and provide an unwelcome punctuation of sweetness in an otherwise harmonious spectrum of flavors.
Needs work: While on my first visit I was served by a welcoming, friendly, and informative server, today, just after opening (and as is often the case, nowowdays) there was zero hospitality on the menu. Upon entering the nearly empty store, not one of three or four employees looked in my direction. There was neither a smile nor a single word spoken by the server (unless one considers a chin nod akin to a “what’s up bro?” as a proper greeting) until I asked for no raisins. The stools at the window bar are so low you’ll think you’re at a children’s table. And finally, the to-go bags are perfectly sized to unsettle the lid on their soggy, compostable bowls, meaning by the time I got home, most of my lunch was spilled at the bottom of the bag, negating the save-some-for-later value of the hearty portion, as I dumped the dripping mess into the trash.
I will probably return based on the flavor. But there are some rough edges this store and brand need to address before The Little Beet becomes a go-to for a $20 lunch.

Brian, our server, was incredibly helpful with making suggestions and food pairings. Would absolutely recommend this place - you can't go wrong with any food choice! We had the Barratt to start, and shared the mushroom risotto (so deliciois!) and the salmon (cooked to perfection).
Really great bakery. Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious, as are their pastries. Delivery is always quick and accurate. Their Cuban sandwich is delicious and I love the coconut loaf.
woke up with a craving for the perfect blueberry muffin and Rex delivered. super soft, fruit forward muffin with a perfectly crusted top, sprinkled with sugar. so so good. they also make a proper cappuccino and have great ambiance with pleasant music, nyt copies, and books to peruse. I will definitely be coming back for a lil Saturday morning outing one of these days.
Had eaten at a different location during my last visit to NYC and was so impressed with the Beet Falafel bowl that I had to order it again for lunch during my work trip. It was as good as I remembered it. The choice of ingredients are not something that I would think of (black beans, broccoli, and falafel), but they make a very tasty combo, especially with the turmeric tahini sauce and the beet hummus that comes with it. This is one I’ll have to attempt to make at home since I don’t know when I’ll be back to NYC. Being gluten and dairy free, this was a convenient, quick, and reasonably priced option for lunch during a busy week. Highly recommend it!
Taste was okay, asked for the price of an extra thing they told me “$3 dollars” ended up being $6. Paid $25 for a meal that didn’t fill me up. Rip off. Could’ve gotten a much cheaper and better lunch literally at any other fast casual option.
I’m staying in Hell’s Kitchen and this is the literal best breakfast sandwich place in NYC. I grabbed the breakfast cuban with cheese and salsa verde and it was off the hook. Highly recommend.
The best gluten free bagels I’ve had since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease years ago. The owner’s husband was diagnosed with Celiac so she set out on a mission (thank goodness) to make delicious food for him and has succeeded. I thank her for deciding to share her creations with the rest of us 😋 Every time I’m in NYC I try to stop at one of their locations and pick up a treat to eat on the train ride home. Also, can have bagels shipped. Everything sold is 100% gluten free and everything I’ve tried is delicious.
A simple and warm cafe with good service and coffee. The staff was welcoming, coffee was fresh. The interior is good for brief work or friendly chats. I would recommend Cortado and Lentil soup. Will be back!
The best bagels in the world. My husband and son have celiac disease. Modern bread & bagel changed our lives..I love them too..and prefer them to “regular”. I order everything bagels, slice and freeze them so they’re easy to toast and always fresh. Pastries are incredible too. I am still dreaming about a rice pudding filled donut with pink frosting I got a few months ago! Linzer tarts and black and white cookies! When my son turned 21 we celebrated here. Service is great. Employees knowledgable, patient and kind. I have been to UWS and 14 St locations.

WOW SO GOOD!!! You MUST eat here and have a coffee too. It was the best egg sandwich I’ve ever had and the almond milk latte was delicious as well. Will come back again!
This fully gluten free place has amazing food with a focus on rice. Most of the dishes are rice based such as risotto and pasta. There are also some alternatives such as a burger, steak and salads for those that would like something else.
Came here for Christmas lunch. The wait wasn’t long. The seating is very tight, literally could only walk through one side to get to our table. The wait for our food was pretty long. Don’t know if they were short staffed being it was Christmas. When asked about the wait. The waiter stated it was because of the burgers. Ok fine, but why did the table that was seated WAY after us get their burgers right away?

As many times as I've eaten here over the years and forgot to post my original poke bowl place. Which, of course, I still eat their. Always fresh ingredients and good people working there. This is always my go-to poke bowl and will never change.

I love that Risotteria Melotti is a quaint family operated restaurant in Manhattan. They made Christmas Eve a simple, but special affair. The restaurant was cozy, nicely decorated for the holidays and everyone was in a holidays spirit. Thanks for the lovely experience!
Please don’t come here… I want to keep it all to myself! Seriously, these are the best gluten-free bagels we have ever had and their sandwiches and open face bagels are amazing. We had the Smashed Avocado, the Avocado and Smoke, The Big Show, and the Sweet Billy. All of them excellent!
The only cautions I have is to get here early and be ready when you get to the counter. Their attitudes can seem rough, but treat them well and they will do the same.

For someone who is celiac, having a dedicated kitchen is just incredible. You can order the entire menu, not just a few items. It's such a mental high. The Mozzarella Sticks is ok but the sauce is great. All the savory is great. The desert is not at the same level. Consider sitting outside if possible Because of how close you are to the other table, it's almost like sharing a table.
It’s hard to believe this place is 100% gluten free but it is! It’s absolutely delicious, I came here every morning during my trip, the price is reasonable and everything is fresh! Their homemade jams are the cherry on top!

Modern Bread and Bagel has hands down the best gluten free bagel in the country. I highly recommend the Big Show on the Everything bagel.
There’s no indoor table seating, but you can sit outside. It’s counter service.

Delicious! You will not believe these are gluten feee baked goods. Favorites are the moist and rich Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread (if “zucchini” is in the name it’s healthy, right?), and any bagel with the pickled onions and carrot lox. Vegan friendly ad well as gluten free. A must for brunch, snack, or any meal!
I was raised by a professional baker, full gluten. And I have to say, this is some of the best pastry I’ve had. Whoever made this place happen is legit a genius. The bagels are as good as any I’ve had in NYC, the Apple fritter and the cinnamon bun are the best I’ve had anywhere, and the deli is good too. The coffee is not amazing—the star is everything sweet. And I can’t wait to try everything in that display case!
For a $13 after tax sandwich, Tuscany, it really lacks seasoning, I can’t taste anything, even the grilled chicken that’s supposed to be marinated, it has no flavor. With the few spots left inside this Grand Central Terminal dinning hall, I truly wish they will improve their flavors and remain open. They have potentials to be way much better.

This restaurant is so cute! It’s very neighborhoody and cozy and it’s a great option for a date night! Their pasta is amazing and they have a good wine selection too. We went there around 8pm on a Friday and we had a reservation, which I recommend cuz the place was at capacity (there might have been one or two other open tables). I highly recommend this spot if you live in Chelsea

Great Thai food spot! Be mindful of the spice level because when they say spicy they mean spicy! We love that they use organic ingredients. The food is not overly oily and has great flavor!
Big surprise- I hardly ever pick restaurants based on location alone but one of my stand by cafes was closed & Pastai was nearby. Really excellent food @ fair price mark with reasonable bottles as well. I will returning soon!
An amazing gluten free restaurant. The pasta was fantastic and tonight’s dining companions wanted to bottle the sauce and take it home. Wonderful portion sizes with just enough room to split a decadent dessert.

This place is a day hack! Sneak a healthy meal with no effort and fair pricing! Pick what you want, Chipotle style… Pro tip: Substitute rice with Zucchini noodles, say yes to the complementary miso soup! This place is a WIN!
Great option to choose Zucchini noodles, because I wasn't in a mood for rice and wanted to eat less carb ad possible. Fish quality was not that great as the price you pay, what are you expecting at poke place, lol. But by the way, I ENJOY most of the ingredients they mix up for me for my poke salad.
We ordered pickup here and loved everything. Nice woman working there and really happy everything tasted healthy. I wanted something tasty but not dripping with oil and this was flavorful but from fresh product and spices not from oil. Thanks!
Started working near here and I go a few times a week. Great staff! I don't drink coffee but their muffins, loaves and donuts are all amazing. Would recommend their Turkey Roast sandwich they have for lunch sometimes 10/10 crazy good. Comes with caramelized onions in the sandwich and a side salad in the box.
I've ordered their meal plan and individual entrees for lunch. The burgers are solid but the sides are disappointing. The sweet potatoe 'fries' are a soggy mess. The side western potatoes were terrible, i tossed them. The baked potato and broccoli were the safest options. The no carb dressing is really good but their chicken is usually dry and i find the brown rice slightly undercooked sometimes.
A lunchtime gem in midtown. Their rice bowls are great for lunch to go- great portion and tasty food. Much better offering than other lunch specials but same price (12-15 dollars). It includes salad, spring roll, and egg which rounds it all out beautifully. New staple for me.
Not bad for a quick bite but my pan seered salmon was raw, which was a bit off putting honestly. Love the black rice option. Tables could have been cleaner.
Pretty good value for money especially if you load your bowl with all the ingredients you desire. Protein servings are on the smaller side but I managed to still get a good meal in!
What's special about this place is not just the fact that everything on the menu is gluten-free and delicious, but the staff is so sweet and kind. This place is perfect for people who want to eat good food but have different allergies. Here, you don't have to sacrifice taste. They can make a lot of things on the menu, vegan or vegetarian, and yep, everything is still gluten-free. I had one of the pizzas, it was great. I also had a side of garlic broccoli. Soo good. The space is so cute. I definitely will be back over and over again.
This place is a fantastic Italian restaurant! 🇮🇹 Pastai offers a wonderful selection of fresh delicious 🤤 pasta 🍝, salads 🥗, and other authentic Italian dishes 🍽️ - definitely try their Cauliflower Pasta with thick hallow pasta and the Chocolate 🍫 Cake! 🍰 The staff 👨🍳 is super friendly and welcoming, service is professional and quick ⏲️, ambience 🎶 is fantastic, the music 🎵 is great, and the place is nicely decorated. 🛋️ I wish I knew about this place sooner!
If you are looking for gluten free dining then this is the place to go. A hearty range of pasta and pizza options with decent cocktails. The aesthetic is nice and the street is not too busy. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana which was served on a bed of spaghetti. If you don't need to eat gluten free then you will probably find better options at this price point nearby.

The service was amazing here! Ordered the Drunk Man spicy noodles & they were way too spicy, but they took it back and gave me the Pad Se Ew instead. I would highly recommend asking to make the dishes less spicy based on your preference.

Visiting NYC. Delicious Thai and no waiting. Quick service with hot food on the go. Ready to eat in a restaurant or for take out. Walking distance to the Sonesta hotel - one block down. Will return for more.

My first time here, this place is right around the corner from where I work. I gave them a call to ask about different options and the person who picked up was really helpful and kind. When I walked in to place an order in person, everything was clean and well maintained. All the ingredients looked fresh and tasted amazing. I had a spicy tuna poke with a side of yellowtail and OMG! Haven't had a good poke in a long time so this felt. I am definitely coming back here to try other items! It is a must visit restaurant whenever you find yourself in West Village!!
The food tasted amazing. We ordered the arugula salad, the daily special pork chop, and a house made lemonade. I liked that the lemonade had no sugar added. Will return to try the pasta.
This is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants in Chelsea. The specials are always fresh and amazing. The service is on point and the decor is charming. We feel like we left the streets of NYC and slipped into an Italian bistro.
WOW. A totally wonderful Italian restaurant in the UWS. Walking into Pappardella, was like stepping into an old Italian establishment in “The Old Country”. Relaxed ambiance, good old-world feeling. A great professional service and amazing food.

Delightful atmosphere, incredible warm and thoughtful service, and the menu and the food is absolutely divine. Amazing vegetarian and vegan options. And if you have a gluten free friend or family member, this is the spot. Also you can make reservations on open table for convenience.

Great vegan Mexican food. I had been to their sister restaurant, Double Zero once before and it was just as delicious.
The food was delicious and filling.
The service was a touch rushed, but not terrible. The food almost came out too quickly between courses.

I had the chicken stay rice express meal at Tam Sang today. I have been eyeing this spot for a while and only regret not trying this out earlier. The food was mouth watering. The service was beyond amazing. Kudos to the whole team. Definitely coming back for more and bringing all my friends here.
I came here post a Central Park wedding and let me say I was not dissatisfied nor disappointed. The appetizers were spot on and of various types to snack upon. The sangria was a refreshing light white variety that cooled down a warm setting. The sea bass special was paired with a crisp Chardonnay that complimented the entire meal. The manager came out to bring a champagne cocktail special along with a lovely dessert. The grappa paired with a double espresso was a lovely ending to a great dinner. The staff here went above and beyond to accommodate a special celebration…the manager was an absolute gentleman! Well worth more than five stars allotted!
Had a very nice dinner here. Service and ambience is very nice. Dining inside is comfortable and cozy. Food was good. Traditional Italian. Chicken Parm was well made with a nice sauce and Frutti De mare was excellent and packed with lobster, clams, mussels, and squid on top of fresh pasta. Topped off with a nice glass of red, it was a nice evening.
Tofu pad Thai was very saucy with strange flavor. No peanuts. Tofu was spongy. Not like any pad Thai I’ve had before, in a bad way. I’ve never had pad Thai with celery, mushrooms and green beans. Very disappointing.
Wasn't sure if I should've stopped here at first but I am SO GLAD I did! Had the oat milk latte and the chicken panini sandwich. Absolutely delicious! The chicken was so savory and cheese melted just the right way. Exactly what I needed on a rainy day. The coffee was delicious and well made as well. Absolutely recommend!
Went here last time my bf and I went to the museum, and I have to say- this place is amazing! We both got pizzas since we were a bit strapped for cash but still wanted to splurge a bit. This place has friendly staff, nice food, and it’s not too far from the museum and Central Park! Definitely coming here again!
I really liked the ambiance here. I liked that it's healthy. But I had trouble finding nut free options. The tacos were a bit sour, but maybe I'm not that big of a fan of Mexican or Spanish cuisine.
Can't go wrong with anything u order! The pappardelle with white truffle + mushrooms was so good! Chewiest noodles and strong truffle taste & the calamari was so fresh but the pesto asparagus with melted mozz was insane.
This is one of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants in the city. Found this gem last week and I will be returning whenever I’m in the area. The food was delicious, the drinks were strong and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Cozy place with a great service and outstanding meals!!!. I have a good experience in Italian cuisine, and I had the best pasta here with slow-cooked grass fed flank steak ragù (it’s called PACCHERI ALLA GENOVESE).
Wide varies of Hot & Cold sandwiches on ciabatta breads, wraps & potato bun, salads & chicken tenders. Also serve breakfast sandwiches, pancakes & French toast. 16 & 20 oz draft beers. I got the Bronxville sandwich with was fresh mozzarella, prosciutto & roasted peppers. It would have been really good if there was more prosciutto, it was about 2 slices.
This review is for the Central Market sandwich shop in the food area. My main issue is that a chopped cheese should have about 100x more cheese than what was on this. Ditch the bacon, throw in a cheese load more cheese on this thing and you have an iconic NY chopped cheese.
Pretty neat place to try Mexican food. Never expected a local bar to serve this amazing cuisine. The nacho we ordered was stacked like jengas, twas fun to pull out each chip and eat it. The blue corn chips were amazing as well. And the mojitos......ahh.

Fabulously fantastic and everything I had imagined when to comes to healthy eating. The food was phenomenal and reasonably priced. Especially after working out, before class or even for lunch it’s a great place to get food. The food is delicious, the food is fresh and clean. So many options and substitutions for items. The shakes were delicious. The owner was delightful he greeted us with a smile and full of personality. He was attentive to his customers, orders, and employees. We will definitely keep coming back.

Healthy and GF (celiac safe) food. You can find a Little beet in many neighborhoods in Manhattan. Loved the make your own bowl option.

Best green curry I’ve ever had! It was creamy and smooth, and the squid was perfectly soft. The Thai iced tea was delicious as well.
I haven't had much expectations about such an eatery in the busy grand central terminal. But they were able to miss even those expectations. Had the ham and cheese sandwich with mozzarella and air dried European/Italian ham. Sounds good. In theory. After asking for heating up the sandwich, I thought I will receive a warm sandwich with melted mozzarella cheese. However, I received a semi warm and not even close to melted cheese sandwich. But that's not even the end of the story. There was only one super thin slice of ham and two layers of mozzarella on the sandwich. Nothing else. Having a cold and super dry sandwich for $10 is very disappointing. No matter if their menu provides better options, the one I chose was horrible and disqualifies this eatery from being good.
We had lunch there on a Sunday at 3 pm . The place wasn’t busy at this time. I had a quinoa and salmon plate. It looked healthy. The booth was comfortable. The staff was super nice. The place looked nice. I will come back for my lunch break.

Listen I love MMG in THE BRONX, I always tell every one how FANTASTIC IT IS. and the one day I get 5 people to try it. In hells kitchen and I left there feeling disrespected by the quality and portion of the food.. the one day I have every one looking forward to MMG and it was Horendous in hells kitchen on 10th ave
Ordered their zesty fries which has parmesan, garlic and parsley. The fries seemed fresh but the seasoning was too overpowering.
I don’t want to complain about the staff, I know they did there best they could to make the meal decent but unfortunately it wasn’t. I ordered a cheese burger thinking nobody can messed up a cheese burger but unfortunately they did. Maybe it was my mistake because I looked at the reviews after I already ordered my food and I got turned off. But the reviews were right. The burger was dry and it had no taste. Not even the extra sauce that I asked made it any better. It was the worst burger I ever tasted. Never again.

As soon as we sit, we are given the restaurant week menu which was $60 a person which is fine. But we did not want to order off this menu. There was no alternative menu but the waiter told us we could order things individually and not do the price fixe. That was fine and all until there were no prices to be found for anything. And it was hard to ask for anything because the waiter was very busy and we felt too awkward leaving as we were there for 15+ minutes at this point and my boyfriend already ordered a drink, which was never brought to him and he canceled it altogether, and we got bread.

6/28/22 after roaming around for a meal that would satisfy my craving... I chose Pastai, I've eaten here some time ago so I figured why not. I had the bucatini with sardines and a side of sauteed spinach. Both dishes were really good and had great flavors.
The house red (pino) was ok. $13... Kinda steep for house, eh? Lol, but yeah it's the neighborhood. Maybe that's why I was the only one at the bar?

Great spot in WaSquaPa area for some Poke! Prices are fair and portions are good, I was very full after eating the Hawaiian Classic. There's seating for about 12 people, so maybe you would have to take it out to go on a busy day. Good thing the park is closeby and for NYU kids there are plenty of places to take it.
The food was good, what was most impressive was the assembly line and the team work, very well coordinated! I said my choices to the first person and didn't have to repeat, my bowl was assembled with the right ingredients! Very impressive, especially that I have a very low voice. I would say the experience alone is worth it. Impressive team work and good food!
Delicious food, amazing price point, and generous portion sizes. The staff were patient and efficient (I became overwhelmed by all of the delicious options so wasn’t the quickest at ordering!), and I am absolutely devastated that I don’t have a Muscle Maker Grill back home.

Went here during the blizzard (shout out to them for being open) as some of us had to report in to work as well and there was no line. I didn’t have to wait long for my sandwich like the other reviews experienced but it was an abnormal day… either way the cashiers were friendly. My bread was fresh and the caramelized onions were delicious! It was a good sandwich. It was expensive IMO but “fair” inside of grand central; can’t expect the prices to be much lower even if We’d all like that. I had a good experience and would go back. My food was fresh and also had options that I wanted to eat compared to the other breakfast offerings.
It was cold and I was traveling all day so I ordered through Uber Eats. The order came 20 mins before my expected delivery time !! Great service ! I had the chili bowl and a side of turkey meatball. The bowl was very good and I was happy that it fit in my macros for the day. The meatballs were very good also. I wish a place like this existed in the DFW area. Any chance on a Texas franchise?
Good quick place for a solid sandwich. Friendly service, and a spot without the super long lines in the food court of Grand Central. Tasty bread and ripe avocado on my turkey and jam. Assortment of cold drinks too.
A terrific Sicilian restaurant with great tasting food and good wines in nicely curated space. The service is attentive and very good. The specials and the pastas are all well prepared and made to order. There is a back room available for larger parties. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Sicilian food.
