This review is purely based on their customer service when trying to schedule an event or event get in contact with them.

I’ve been here one or two times before with friends and the drinks and atmosphere are great. I was looking to host an event there so I thought I would get in touch with them.

I understand the holidays are busy so I figured there would be some delay in a response.

Problem is that i have tried to get in contact with them for about 2 weeks. I emailed on 12/21, called them and left a message on 12/23 and message them on instagram on 12/27. Another coworker has tried to get in touch with them daily since 12/20 and no response either .

I got a single response on 12/27 from Beka letting me know they would follow up but still a week later nothing.
Terrible service. Over priced drink and mandatory gratuity. The drink was terrible. Made even more frustrating that the tip was included. The staff made no effort to be friendly or accommodating. Service had zero interest in creating an enjoyable atmosphere. The bartender had the audacity to state they were the cheapest bar around when I complained. I was a bit miffed since literally accross the street a cheaper bar stood.

Found this place by random and I think it's a gem! It gives me speakeasy and occult-y vibes and I love it! A pretty good selection of liquor to choose from and fair in price.

I bought four drinks that were advertised as $12.75 on the menu. When I got my receipt there were $2 added to each drink for no reason. Watch for shady hidden charges

Normally this bar is usually really good with friendly bartender but I don’t recommend going to the Mardi Gras event it was pretty unorganized, we stood at the bar top for an hour and kept getting skipped over, very disheartening. Would recommend this bar any other day though.

This is EASILY the best bar in town. It is fun, eclectic, wonderfully unique and has the best staff around. The wonderful Ariel greets you at the door and has an innate talent for making everyone feel like a welcome and old friend and Andrew behind the bar makes the best drinks and offers the best conversation. Love this joint! Come for the free billiards, stay for the regulars who become fast friends.

It was a great little dive bar with some pool and karaoke. They did however give me a whiskey sour without an egg white. So maybe don't expect too much from this place. It could also use some food service. They could make a killing by just selling some fries.
I really dig this bar. They have a variety of specialty cocktails, I really enjoy their version of a long island iced tea. Crowd is pretty chill, they have a pool table for those who enjoy that.

For people wondering about this bar as a venue, it is a good enough size. They don't have a stage, as of my last visit almost a year ago, so get ready to get cozy with the people at your show. Loading in and out can get messy since there is no backdoor in that area, you will have to go through the crowd, which can be difficult if there is a large crowd. But this is L.A, who supports live rock music anymore lol . The sound is not great, you better learn how to keep your levels low if you want people to hear your vocalist. We did not do that and you could barely hear our vocalist, and the sound guy was pushing the speakers to a slight distortion. No Bueno!

One last thing, if the door to the bar is closed you might have a hard time finding the entrance lol.
