This place scammed us. Possibly a mistake due to the language barrier, but I don’t think so. We ordered a large caipirinha (41 reales—not cheap!) that took forever to come out (30+ minutes). When I went to check with the server on where the drink was, I specified using google translate that I was NOT ordering another drink, but simply wanted to know the status of our previously ordered drink. They brought us two caipirinhas, and since we were in separate parts of the restaurant for the language exchange at the time they brought them, we did not realize they’d delivered two and somehow misunderstood my very specifically explained inquiry. At checkout, we had an Uber waiting and spent ten minutes using google translate trying to explain to the staff their mistake. They kept playing obtuse and acting like they had no idea what we were talking about, even though I was speaking with the same server who had brought the drinks. They eventually wore us down and we just paid the extra 45 reales because we didn’t want to get charged wait time by our Uber.

To the owners: please get in touch to refund us the overcharge, it would mean a lot and help correct your bad service for a pricy drink. Left feeling very frustrated and mistreated and do not want to come back here.

I usually go to a language exchange event at this place. The stuff is friendly but I'm not too crazy about the prices. The prices on the menu are extremely tiny. I ordered a tonic water thinking that it was 6.5 R, it turns out it was 9.5 R, a little bit expensive for water. The caipirinha is are a little bit expensive too around 20 or 25 R. I know that foreigners go there so they're taking advantage. In Copacabana you can get two caipirinhas for 15
I've only ever been on a Tuesday night for the Mundo Língua event. You can meet a lot of people from around the world. Before 10pm you say which languages you speak, and they'll give you a sticker with a country's flag, representative of that language.

One night we went with a bunch of friends and they played funk music. We love funk so the guys really got into it. The rest of the time I've been people spend more time talking rather than dancing, which is perhaps the purpose of the event- to mingle and meet people from other cultures.

The venue is beautiful. There's a small dance floor inside, and a bar to the side. Outside there is space to sit (a number of sofas) and high table chairs. The bar is nicely decorated, and the environment is relaxing and pleasant.

One warning-The drinks are expensive if you're a low-wage earner (someone on the Brazilian minimum wage would not be buying a lot of drinks). So if this is you, don't expect to drink too much. But as the event seems to be aimed at gringos, and the pub itself is more "chique", this is to be expected.

Give it a shot. You might meet many new friends 🤙🤙🤙
Great decorations and I enjoyed my drinks here, the dj was great too!

Cute spot, great music but no one was really dancing.. I thought the crowd would be younger. Also smoking should be prohibited.

The jungle bar is very beautiful its looks cool and new. 1 star for the looks.
They have a lot of cool drinks and some foods. Outside you can sit very cute in a long alley. Thats is beautifully decorated with hanging plants. But you need to make a reservation for sit there. We didnt do unfornutely and we wanted also eat there something. But the people that are on this tables are not leaving for dance inside even not all had even drinks on the tables. I really disliked that we couldn't sit for eat a little. While we the bar was just 1 hour open qhen we came. The drinks deserve another star. They gave me a lot of rum and I order a coke because they didn't make cuba libre so I did it myself. The cachaça was to strong that made it not good for drink the taste was very off. The ordering system is weird. You can't on the bar you need to see someone that works there and ask him for give you it. It works on a giant card and they cross off what you ordered and on the end you pay. I didnt like this system because you have a giant paper. Order bars on lapa have a card system that works lot easier because is small card. The last star I gave is for the clean toilets. Unfornutely I didnt like my time there. But if you go there for dance is very cool. They had fun music and if you make a reservation also can sit outside cool with friends. Go with a group.
Great place with cozy green terrace and REALLY tasty ceviche. They have an amazing event on Tuesdays called "Mundo Lingo" when people from different countries get together to make friends, practice languages and have fun.

I only went because there was an event in the place, but I was very hungry and the menu is very short... I had to choose risotto because the prices were very expensive and when the food arrived it was a little. For the price I expected more food... I don't really recommend the place to dinner. Near this place there are a lot of restaurants. This place is only for drinks. They have a promotion in caipirinhas 2*1 before 9:30.
