Generally good given the huge numbers if traveller's.
The ladies toilets require urgent and good quality cleaning. It does not help that passengers also have very poor hygiene standards for which I apologize. But, the airport management needs to employ better cleaning staff.

The security check team is pathetic. First they don't clearly specify what all is to be put under the scanner/ their checking staff( female) are rude/ impolite and lastly they dictate terms- not at all passenger friendly
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), formerly known as Victoria Terminus (VT), is an iconic railway station located in the heart of Mumbai, India. Covering an area of over 2.85 hectares, CSMT is not just a transportation hub but also an architectural marvel and a symbol of Mumbai's rich history.

Built in the late 19th century, CSMT is a stunning example of Victorian Gothic architecture. Designed by British architect Frederick William Stevens, the station's architecture blends traditional Indian and Victorian Gothic styles seamlessly. Its striking stone façade is adorned with intricate carvings, sculptures, and stained glass windows, making it a visual masterpiece that attracts tourists and architecture enthusiasts from around the world.

The station was officially opened in 1887, and it was named Victoria Terminus in honor of Queen Victoria, who was also the Empress of India at the time. In 1996, it was renamed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to pay homage to the Maratha warrior king, Shivaji Maharaj, and to reflect the city's Marathi heritage.

CSMT is not just an architectural wonder but also a vital transportation hub. It serves as a major railway terminus for both suburban and long-distance trains, connecting Mumbai to various parts of India. The station's iconic dome, which stands at a height of 55 meters, is a prominent landmark in Mumbai and can be seen from several vantage points across the city.

Inside CSMT, the grandeur continues with its vast concourse, intricate detailing, and a large central hall with a stunning ceiling. The station bustles with activity as thousands of commuters pass through its historic halls daily, making it one of the busiest railway stations in India.

In 2004, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognizing its cultural and historical significance. It stands as a testament to Mumbai's enduring spirit, bridging the gap between the city's rich past and its dynamic present.

In conclusion, CSMT, Mumbai, is more than just a railway station; it's a living piece of history, a masterpiece of architecture, and a symbol of Mumbai's resilience and diversity. It continues to be a hub of activity and a source of pride for the people of Mumbai and all those who visit this magnificent landmark.

Please clean the washrooms with good products. Kindly do it. Or else India will lose its Mumbai airport charm

Chatrapati shivaji airport also known as T1. It's meant for domestic airlines. It's smaller than T2 terminal (international). The place is Less crowded, specially in the early morning. Not much noiser.
Located on western express Andheri.
Bus stand is clean and very supportive staff
My Fav on WR for Kalbadevi connectivity
I travelled to the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST or VT i.e. Victoria Terminus or Boribunder) along with my wife to drop my sister to the station. After leaving her at the station we moved out and tasted some amazing food and then went on to shop at the Fashion Street. The architecture of the station is beautiful and worth taking a note of. The entire locality is inspired by British Architecture and looks mesmerizing.

Charni Road is a railway station on the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. The main significance of Charni Road station is that it is near the Girgaum Chowpaty beach and Marine Drive promenade, a major destination for tourists in Mumbai. The station derives its name from the fact that grazing lands for cattle and horses were located nearby in earlier days. In 1838, the British rulers introduced a 'grazing fee' which several cattle-owners could not afford. Therefore, Sir Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy spent ₹20,000 from his own purse for purchasing some grasslands near the seafront at Thakurdwar and saw that the starving cattle grazed without a fee in that area. In time the area became to be known as "Charni" meaning grazing. When a railway station on the BB&CI railway was constructed there it was called Charni Road. The BB&CI line from Back Bay to Virar opened in 1867. A small and nice railway station on the Western railway. A small railway station in Mumbai. You can easily access to the Reliance Hospital and Girgaon area from this station. some bridge are being reconstructed.
A small and nice railway station on the Western railway.

Indira Gandhi Airport has two active passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and Terminal 2 which is home to many of the low cost flights of Terminal 1 due to its refurbishing works.

Terminal 1, is used by low cost carriers such as GoAir, IndiGo and SpiceJet, and is divided in Terminal 1-C, used for domestic arrivals, and Terminal 1-D, used for departures, it can handle 15 million passengers annually. It is nowadays closed due to improvement works and all the flights were transferred to Terminal 2.

Terminal 2, it has been redesigned to temporary host the low cost carriers of Terminal 1. Once Terminal 1 will reopen, it will be demolished to build the new Terminal 4.

Terminal 3 is the newest terminal, it was opened in 2010 and is one of the biggest terminals in the world, being able to handle 40 million passengers per year. Other terminals like T1A, T1B are unused nowadays.
