Very very poor business and customer service. Frank told me he feels like he should be charging a consultation fee when he told me 100k cash to buy a 400k business wouldn’t work with an SBA loan. So I asked how, he explains 10% down 15% capital reserve. Me already knowing this questioned how that doesn’t add up? Then I was told how this route I was interested in wasn’t going to have papers in line for SBA etc etc. My question was what kind of legitimate business minded buyer wouldn’t expect the seller of their large future investment to have things in complete order? “You’d be surprised”

I called to get more info on a bread route. I spoke to Frank and when I read the listing word for word to him, he was clueless about the route for sale. He said he would call me back in a few. Calls me back 24hrs later and tells me he still can't find that listing. I give him the listing id and he finally finds it. My main question was to find out what bread company this listing is for. I was told I had to sign a NDA before they can give me any info. I said I am not asking for financials, warehouse location or anything else. I just want to know if the bread company is a company I want to deal with. I am very familiar with which ones to avoid and which ones actually give a decent commission with out having you work "8" days a week! Frank said it is a small bread company and that is all he could disclose. Okay bud, thanks for your time and good luck selling routes! I can play the guessing game and assume its Pechters or Anthonys but why should any buyer have to do that?

As a seller of a route:
I have no reason why you would list with this broker. It's a bread route, not a brick and mortar business that you have to worry about losing customers due to change of ownership. Nobody cares who services a bread route and if you are signed up with a business broker, any legit broker has a contract with the seller for a long period of time. Nobody is going to go behind the brokers back to try to buy the route from the seller directly or wait for a year for the route to be delisted to save 8-12%.

I have tried to deal with this company on 2 opportunities they were selling. In both instances, you can't get any information without signing a buyers intent for the asking price of the business and giving them a 12.5% deposit. So for me to find out any info, I have to sign a letter of intent for $599,000.00 and provide them with a $74,875 deposit. NO Thanks! I have bought 4 businesses in my lifetime and none worked liked this company. OF course, if you don't go through with the purchase they say they refund your money, but who is to say - I'm in PA they are in NY.
Good luck selling that company and any business owner who would use this service is crazy! And anybody giving this company deposits is even more crazy!

I had a great experience working with Larry and also Mike. I was closely working with Larry and he helped me going through the process of buying the FedEx route. He has full of knowledge in this business, very smart, professional and friendly guy. I highly recommend him. He can guide and gives you an advice on how to buy a right route that fits your need. These guys are very honest and dedicated for their customers and that is the most important thing in business world especially these days where full of scammers are out.

Tried dealing with a broker named Mike. Very poor communication. Tells you he is going to call and it is days or a week plus later. When he does call you, he tells you what he already previously told you on the last call. All he can do is to continue to apologize. Here's the best part. I was interested in a business, after signing the NDA, they wanted me to give them nearly a $250,000 deposit they said would go into escrow. If the deal doesn't go through, I would get my deposit back, YEA RIGHT. I've purchased multiple businesses in my career. I offered to show my bank statements as to good faith, never heard back. Never seen an organization like this before. Not sure if they are legit, but as the old saying goes, BUYER BE WARE. They are obviously out for their own interests not the seller or buyer. And based upon the other glowing few reviews, makes me think they are fake.

Honorable people with solid integrity. They will guide you thru the entire buy sell process to a successful close. Their business acumen will prove to be a valuable resource during due diligence, and the overall business evaluation phase of a potential opportunity. They have a strategic network that produces formidable results for both the buyer and seller.

I seen a business I wanted to buy and when I called I was expected to speak to the broker John Matteria but a Mary MacCullagh answered the phone and said he was just a person that does there advertisements. I asked for more information on the business I was looking to purchase and she emailed me a NDA doc and ask for my photo ID. I sent the information back and she never called me or emailed me back after 4 days I emailed her she emailed me back a said " I'll call you tomorrow". She never called I emailed her again she replied, "I called you and you never picked up". I emailed her and told her to discard my information your unprofessional and I'm moving on to a different company. My advice never send your personal information have your attorney call the company.
