Great atmosphere and music
I thought it would be rather warm because of being so close to others during a concert, but it was actually a really pleasant temperature

Worst club ever costumer Service was really bad and the club management are so rude. I booked a place long time ago and I was supposed to pay €600 I ended up paying €954 because they changed their mind. It was too much for me but they said if I don’t pay it, they will call the police. would never go there again Worst club in Hamburg they ruined my birthday

Racist bouncers at the door to black folks and PoC. They have petty tricks that they hide behind like asking you if you're on a "so-called" guest list or they tell you to your face they don't want you.

Nice bar, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and good music.
Drink prices are a little high, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Nice bar inside the club, there is a special room inside for smoking people, interesting entrance. The dance floor is not very big

Wer konstruiert sowas?

I like this place because it is simple and exudes elegance, there are no unnecessary details. You can focus all your attention on the events on stage, at the same time, the service and the bar are well organized.

A great place to be. Alone the architecture is worthwhile visiting. A seemingly endless moving stairway brings you to the Foyer. From here you can ascend to the entrance doors to the concert hall and to the windows from where you have a beautiful view over Hamburg in all directions. The music performances which take place in the concert hall truly are world-class.
One of the iconic and uniquely styled Building in Hamburg. We just visited the viewing deck/floor. While you are expected to buy a ticket but you don't pay anything. The view is good, you can spend maybe 20-30 mins here. Nothing great apart from that.
I flew here from Belgium to hear Joshua Bell perform the Tchaikovsky violin concerto and Mahler symphony 5. It's a concert-going experience that I've never expected to have in my life. The building is magnificent both inside and outside. The view from the plaza makes it very worth it to arrive one hour early just to enjoy all the lights of the city & harbour as well as the calming sight of the water. The acoustic of the grand hall makes me feel like my previous classical concerts were a bit... muddled? Every sound in the hall was clear, I think it definitely amplified the performance perfectly. Joshua was... a beast. Since every sound can be heard so clearly I truly admire how he was able to articulate the music so beautifully and accurately from the beginning to the end. I'm glad I travelled a long way for this live classical music experience...

The concert I attended at Laeiszhalle was truly remarkable, with incredible talent that defined the evening.

A wonderful concert hall in neo-baroque style opened in 1908.
Views are pretty awesome, and a stunning piece of architecture to say the least.. You can walk all the way around the observation plaza, so 360 degree views across the Hafencity, Port and beyond! It's free entry up to the first plaza, it has toilets, shop and a restaurant, so some great facilities if your unsure if it's worth the trip. A great little place to take some pictures if your on a budget, want to kill some time or just love ships and dockland. You might also be able to catch an orchestral view 😉. Recommended.
Sound engineer ruined the concert of Nathan Ball yesterday.
Prinzenbar is a unique and beautiful small venue for live concerts in a very cosy setting.
But yesterday, the audio was terrible. Too much bass. Even when the artist was speaking to the public (without music), you had the feeling you were listening to him from the toilets.
Nathan was also constantly asking for corrections. Really pity as Nathan Ball has a great voice.
I hope Prinzenbar will permanently replace whoever was behind the sound engineering yesterday.
Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is an architectural marvel! From its stunning glass exterior to the breathtaking views of the city and harbor from the Plaza, it's a must-visit attraction. The acoustics inside the concert halls are exceptional, making every performance a memorable experience. The combination of modern design and musical excellence creates a unique cultural destination in Hamburg. Don't miss the chance to catch a concert here – it's worth every moment!

My favourite concert venue I've been to. Small and intimate with great acoustics so you really feel apart of the performance.
Bedienung

Went to 2 concerts during a 4 day visit

Pros:
The large hall is quite impressive. The visibility to the stage was great even though I was sitting at the upper levels. Supposedly, all 2100 seats have maximum distance of 30 meters to the conductor.
The acoustics were great as well.
Beethoven's violin concerto performance was very nice.
The smaller recital hall good acoustics. Visibility of the stage was good even from the back.
Website was easy to use and book tickets.
Allocate extra time to enjoy a walk around the Hafencity neighborhood as well as the 360 view from the main floor of the venue.

Cons:
There are a lot of steps after the two escalators. If you are mobility challenged, then arrive early so that you can queue up to take the elevators.

The bathroom at the main floor (after the two escalators) is inconveniently located. There are additional bathrooms as you enter either the two concert hall areas.
Outstanding experience of sound, music reaches every corner of the heart!
A pice of art interior design! Amazing view on sunset!Only what I missed there was a dress code!
Went here for the observation deck. It was cheaper than I expected and there were some great views all around the 360° deck. We bought tickets in advance and avoided the long queue.

The cafe also has some lovely black forest cake and cinnamon buns.
Beautiful views of Hamburg and its ports. It's a nice place to go if you would like a birds eye view of Hamburg. It's free to go inside unless you want to cut the line then you can pay 3 Euros but that's completely unnecessary.

Elegant and classic opera hause with a north european flair: also wonderful foyer at the upper level with a café/bar for a glass of wine and light snacks before the show or at the intermission.
TIP: make sure to reserve tickets in the sections in front of the stage, because the side sections seats have basically NO vision at all...

We paid for the 90 min guided tour (20 Euros). Although the building is stunning, it was pretty crowded and it was easy to lose the group. If you need to go to the toilet, forget about it: you will miss the explanation (long line to get into the bathroom) and you may be allowed to resume the tour with the group.
You need to get a ticket to go on the curved escalator but it’s for free. I liked this place and the view from the balcony. They have a souvenir shop with some nice gadgets. The surrounding area is pretty calm as well.
A must visit place in Hamburg, the view from this place is astounding. The entry to the first floor is free, the ticket counter is at the ground floor and it's quite quick to get a ticket. The place is very well maintained, the lighting and decor and the architect is very good.
If you have to visit only 1 place in Hamburg, this is the place.
You can go till the half way of this Opera Building for Free. It is a very beautiful Building and you can also enjoy the top view of Hamburg and the sea side View. This is also a must visit place when you visit Hamburg. Getting tickets of Opera isn't that easy. That I think should be booked well in advance. Overall a top place to visit in Hamburg.

Historic venue, and decent acoustics. I made a little bit of a mistake by booking the cheapest seat on the upper left as I had a bit of a restricted view (so try not to save when booking), and it is quite stuffy inside in the summer, but overall it was quite a pleasant experience.

The JazzHall has a really good acoustic. For the usage and the public of Jazz Music is a confortable and cousy venue. The organization is positiv and efficient. The HfMT offers a very good experience for the public with the experience of young and high qualified musicians.
Excellent place to enjoy a concert. The building is amazing and the exit was very fast. It is well connected with a subway station U2 and plenty of taxis on the outside to get a ride.

Beautiful interior, great acoustics, intimate atmosphere for this type of place. Very nice bar for a glass of wine during the concert break.
🇬🇧The staff can communicate in English without any problems.

Wonderfully intimate underground live music venue at the mouth of the Reeperbahn. Efficiently and effectively designed with a circular floor "pit" and standing tiered upper gallery. Quality bar serving standard drinks and local bottled beers Exceptional atmosphere that meets expectations given its prominent location.
Beautiful architecture. A must visit place in Hamburg. Do take tickets downstairs it's for free (atleast for now) and go up with escalators. One of the coolest escalators I saw. Nice view of ships and jetty from the top. The top view of churches adds to the beautiful view from here. Have a coffee and enjoy the scenery.
PS:
The tickets to see concert hall are different.

Went here to see a guitar group from Liverpool but apparently they aren’t playing here any more. I heard they put on quite a show and they’re supposed to be really good. Maybe I can find them somewhere else on the Reeperbahn.
Fantastic!

When here on a Saturday in May and this place was kicking and played current RnB/hip hop. I would go again and the hospitality was on point. I would recommend booking online as a I did that and we got in as a group of 10 lads (asian/black guys).

This is probably one of the best small venues I've ever been! That's saying a lot since I've been to quite a few in Chicago, Austin, and San Antonio. I love how the place is set up so that everyone has a pretty good view of the stage no matter where you're standing. The place feels intimate which allows the musicians to interact and connect with the audience a whole lot as if you're at someone's house party. I'd love to come back here again and see other musicians live. Also, the location is everything! Perfect for going out after the concert since the bars/clubs as well as the train station are right across the street.

EXCELLENT!!! If Batman had a nightclub , this would be it! The entrance doors are hidden in the pavement and you decent down 3 levels to find a lair of entertainment. Big open room w balcony, a stage, oval dancefloor, smoking rooms and occasionally even a DJ in the toilets where there is a second party happening!
I went to the Gullberg Jensen meets Perianes yesterday and had a great time. The prices of the drinks during the break are reasonable.
