If your child has dyslexia or struggles with reading, you need to contact Donna as soon as possible! My daughter's reading and comprehension has improved immensely since starting this program. Not only is she doing better in all subjects at school, her confidence has risen because of this program and Donna's approach to teaching - about a year into the program, my daughter's 3rd grade teacher said she regularly volunteered to read aloud in class! Donna is patient and kind and gets to know all of her students very well. My daughter loves going to tutoring and never feels like she is doing extra school work. Donna is also a great advocate for your child in the public school system and will help navigate the IEP process if needed. She is the best!
Ms. Donna has been a huge blessing in our life. We homeschool and my daughter has dyslexia. Ms. Donna’s tutoring has offered my daughter the ability to read beyond what I ever thought possible. She is patient and kind. I would recommend her to anyone who knows their child needs extra help.

Donna if the best! My daughter has been tutoring with Miss Donna for about a year and a half now. She has improved dramatically with her reading, comprehension and grammar. I cannot say thank you enough about Miss Donna, she listens, she is patient, she gives you monthly reports, flexible when it is possible, and affordable. I don’t know what we would do without her. You would never know my daughter has dyslexia.
I could not be more grateful for Ms. Donna! My son was struggling with reading and displaying signs of dyslexia (he was also very anxious and fidgety). The private school he was attending had no special teachers/programs that could/would help him (they wouldn't even give thought to the idea he could be dyslexic - they just told me he needs to be evaluated for his anxiety/fidgeting and be on medication). We brought him home to homeschool but, I felt that I was doing him a disservice because I had no idea how to help him. Enter Donna. She was so kind and understanding to how my mamma heart was feeling and was even more kind and patient with my son as he began her program. She was so gentle and loving to him - allowing him to get out nervous energy with physical learning games and sweetly keeping him on track when he would start to derail. She worked with his learning style, understanding that it was hard for him to sit still for long and allowing him to stand/move as long as he stayed on track. She invested into him as a person both now, and the future man he will become and for that I cannot thank her enough. She has a heart for her students and my son's life is forever changed because of her. He truly loves Ms. Donna and their time together. Because of the way she was able to connect to him and take the lead on his reading, I was able to trust her/the process and let go of my worry/stress/fear and just focus on his other subjects and pour into him better without worrying he was falling behind. As he continued with her program and gained confidence in his reading/learning ability, his anxiety has diminished and he no longer is constantly anxious or avoids new places/people, chews on his clothing or feels like an outcast. He LOVES Ms. Donna and I do too!

My daughter's reading and comprehension has improved greatly in just 5 months we have been going to Mrs. Donna. I have seen her confidence grow immensely and could not be more thrilled with her improvement. My daughter loves Mrs. Donna so much and I highly recommend her if your child needs help with reading!
Donna is patient, considerate, and kind to her clients. She takes the time to get to know them on a personal level and attempts to cater learning to the individual interests of her students as best she can. She is a wonderful tutor who has helped my son grow from a struggling reader inclined to cry and fight reading independently due to the shear difficulty of the task into a child who can now even find enjoyment in some books and can often be found reading reptile or other animal field guides or informational texts on his own whim. She has given him the tools to read and succeed; thus, confidence in his own intelligence and abilities, and we are forever grateful that we found her!
Absolutely wonderful! Our six year old was struggling with reading in first grade, she scored in the bottom 1 percent on the "Star" tests administered in Tennessee. Over the course of a year, our now seven year old is reading and spelling fluently and no longer needs tutoring. She had the yearly test last week and scored in the top 20 percent. Ms. Donna played a major role in our daughter's progress and we couldn't be happier with our decision for tutoring!

Donna has done a phenomenal job with my son! His confidence has increased, as have his grades in school. His teachers have even commented on his progress over the last few months. We are very happy to have found Reading Within Reach.
