My daughter has really enjoyed receiving violin lessons from the Atlanta School of Musical Arts over the six months that she has been a student. Originally she wanted to participate in orchestra but her school didn't offer it. So, we decided on private lessons in whatever instrument she chose.she wanted to learn to play violin and we searched for somewhere she would be safe and comfortable learning to play. We discovered the Atlanta School of Musical Arts and contacted them to hire an instructor. At first, it took some time to locate a violin instructor with the limited schedule we had available but eventually we were contacted with an instructor willing to accept our schedule. Our instructor was crystal and she was very kind and patient with my daughter. The communication between the instructor the school and the parents are great. The environment at the school was quiet, there were no distractions or interruptions. My daughter and instructor grew a bond and she really enjoyed learning from her. Recently we have suspended her violin lessons due to school testing and college preparation and it's going to be hard not going to the Atlanta School of Musical Arts every week for lessons because we both have gotten used to the Exclusive time we spent together during the trips back and forth every week and also the enjoyable experience of watching my daughter get better at playing the violin over time. Crystal the instructor was amazing and we will return in the fall to continue lessons, hopefully we can still get the same instructor. It's a great music school with a fair and competitive price, safe environment, with knowledgeable and competent instructors. A final tip. If you sign up for lessons be sure to also locate a music instrument and repair store because over the course of learning your instrument can become damaged or need repair to continue. We went to VILLAGE MUSIC store in Avondale Estates during our lessons at the Atlanta School of Musical Arts, to keep our violin repaired and working, just a tip.
Fusion Academy was exactly the school that our daughter needed. It allowed her to heal emotionally after being bullied and gave her academic confidence. During her time at Fusion (spring, summer and fall 2022), she has become very focused on her academic and professional future thanks to the help, flexibility and caring of Fusion’s administration and our daughter’s excellent teachers. We cannot say enough about the support and academic expertise of her teachers. We are just so grateful that a school like Fusion exists.
My daughter has been taking Voice Lessons with Atlanta School of Musical Arts for about a year and a half now. Their customer service is exemplary! Whenever I have a question, I am always provided with a prompt response. The care that is shown to ensure that information is clearly communicated goes such a long way! My daughter’s instructor is Ann Montano. Ann is truly AMAZING and my daughter’s voice is getting stronger each lesson. Ann is very patient, caring, and an overall joy to work with! I would recommend her and the school as a whole to the entire world and beyond!
My kids have been going here for about 4 months for their piano lessons, I can only say it has been a great experience. The kids love it, the instructor ( Oliver ) is very professional and has a lot of patience with my kids. They love how he explain things. My kids are already playing piano by themselves.
Five stars for the incredible way in which Fusion is able to uniquely meet each student where they are and to work with parents to meet each family where they are. All of that work is done with deep understanding and limitless kindness and positivity. Finding Fusion was finding the needle in the haystack ---- except they are in plain sight in the middle of Buckhead. Lol. The lovely, new space is a wonderful bonus.
Fusion Academy provided a great education for my daughter as well as a unique and fun way to finish her last year of high school. The schedule is flexible and taught one on one—very appealing options in the time of Covid. Beyond the required courses, Fusion has a great selection of electives too. As parents, we appreciate the excellent customer service received from the faculty and staff, who are always willing to talk with us and respond in a timely manner. One example of this is the written daily update provided for my daughter by each of her teachers for the day. As parents, we are kept abreast of the material covered as well as student progress. I highly recommend Fusion, and wish I could have witnessed it before Covid.
The buckhead staff and their head of School, Robert Stewart, were phenomenal during my tour in scoping out top rated academies in Buckhead. As a real estate agent, I often get questions about exceptional education opportunities, and Fusion Buckhead is always top of head! I highly recommend this school to families moving to buckhead or families looking to invest in their child’s education, to ensure they receive exceptional interpersonal and educational aptitude preparing them to be top runners to take on the world!!
Fusion Academy has been fantastic for my daughter and me. As we all struggle with virtual school and academic setbacks, she has been able to get some needed support, confidence, and friendship from the staff and students. Fusion has been incredibly flexible with us, allowing her to continue at her high school virtually but come into their facilities for homework cafe and tutoring. With their help and commitment to individualized assistance, she had a very successful semester. Many thanks to Robert, Andy and all of the awesome staff at Fusion Academy!
Fusion Buckhead is an amazing school. The staff is young and relatable to the students, and the one-on-one learning environment cannot be beat. In a year where many schools are failing their students, Fusion has succeeded by accommodating to a student’s academic needs as well as adapting to a his or her learning style. I’m so grateful to Fusion for being there for my daughter. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.
I can't say enough good things about Fusion Academy Buckhead and the complete transformation they have worked on my daughter during a challenging pandemic year. My child entered their program lacking confidence in her academic abilities and they have helped her achieve her previously untapped potential. She is back to being the intellectually curious child I remember from earlier in her childhood. The school has also been great on a social level and she loves interacting with her teachers and peers in the homework cafe.
Fusion Buckhead is an excellent school! It provides both rigorous academics and nurturing support for the students. The faculty are all very attentive to the needs of the students and accessible both to students and parents to address any or questions concerns. I wish we had known about Fusion years ago! The location for the Buckhead campus is also very convenient.
Our 12 year old boy has had piano classes here for over 2 years. We pay just a little more for in-house lesson which is so much worth is considering the time spend preparing and driving to the school. We've had 2 teachers throughout, and both were excellent although different at the same time. This worked out great for our student. We also have started our 8 year old in piano as well. We highly recommend Atlanta School of Musical Arts!
Our 5-year-old boy has been taking piano lessons for a couple months now from ASMA and so far we've had a great experience. First, our instructor, Bridget, comes to our house for lessons, which is amazing in itself. Second, she really meets our son at his level and makes each and every lesson fun for him, so that he looks forward to the next one. As a guitar player, it seems the great majority of people I've known who have attempted to take piano lessons as children (or even adults) end up quitting, usually because the traditional approach to piano is so dry, boring, and intimidating. The first order of business in any music instruction is to make it fun – play to the joy of making music, which is in most people, really. Our instructor does this – she makes piano fun and accessible for our son. I think the number one metric of success at this level is if your child is having fun and wants to continue.
My son has really enjoyed his piano lesson with Cameron Carey. My son started this school with no knowledge about the piano and now has progressed so much in a year. Cameron has given him insight on the ins and outs of the piano and is very detailed when teaching. This class has helped my son with being more independent having to come home and learn his lessons on his own. I would recommend anyone to Atlanta School of Musical Arts.
Great program and dedicated team! My son started piano here at age 6, and loves it. Want to give a special note of thanks to our teacher Ms. Ann- she is very kind, encouraging, calm, and patient. And very talented! She makes learning fun for him- She has been a wonderful teacher and we love working with her! Thank you Mr. Mostai for all your efforts. The recitals are awesome as well... a wonderful way to meet other students and help the children gain more confidence in their talents.
Thank you, Atlanta School of Musical Arts!!
We have 2 boys who have been taking guitar and drum lessons for the past 8 months and have been having a great time and learning a lot. They started at age 7 with no prior musical experience and each has a 45 minute lesson taught by the same instructor (so one instructor comes to our house and does the lessons back to back) and this has worked really well. We are really happy with everything and most importantly, our kids are learning music and having fun. I highly recommend this for anyone whose kids are interested in learning an instrument. The instructor is dependable and has established a great relationship with both boys and has been great.
