Management needs a change, I know tech city have a reputation and was very helpful in the past, but recently I encountered very unfriendly and rude behavior from the management here. Very rude and unhelpful, there are Desi guys working here ruining the store. I wanted to make a complain about them and requested to see the owner or head there but worst of all they were all supported for there rudeness by the owner of the store, the guy literally said that i am owner and was very offensive, that was unacceptable. Never to shop from this shop again totally unacceptable. Never recommended.

My laptop screen was broken at the corner so I was looking for a place to replace the screen at a reasonable price, I found this place and they replaced my screen in 16 minutes and they only charged 150$ other repair stores was going to charge me 220$, I definitely recommend this place.

I went in looking to fix my keyboard and usb port. The shop owner quoted me a price where other places charged me the same price just for the usb ports. While it did take some time as the parts had to come from overseas as well as repairing was a tedious process, I was very happy with the results and I definitely recommend this place for your electronic repairs.

Recently been there and looking for fuji films, found it on the shelves, and brought beside a computer and since I took 5 packs and I can’t hold it. So put it in my bag. And went looking for nano leaf they don’t have. And walked out the store. I forgot to pay for the films which is 200 dollar the guy chased me out saying I steal the films. But I just forgot to. So I went in the store paid for it and said sorry he said he can arrest me for this but I literally just forgot. I mean I have a Range Rover sport which is 120000dollar and own 2 gas stations. Why would I steal 200 bucks. And the security keep saying I need to calm down. However i was really polite to ask him to delete the picture which he took of me. Never come here again. Nobody should even come here

I recently visited the store to purchase a Galaxy S9 ultra tablet. I was assisted by a guy named Danzel. The service that I got from him was phenomenal! The entire purchasing experience was smooth, and I could not have asked for more. His product knowledge was impressive, and he went over and beyond to make sure that I got the best deal possible. I will be coming back to this location for my next Samsung product purchase.

I just paid 3000$ for a fridge, on delivery we noticed that the water line was cracked. I immediately called Home Depot who transferred me to someone from Samsung. He told me that since I did not use an approved installer this was not covered under warranty. I explained to him that this was as we received it, he reiterated that I should use a professional to connect the water line! Seriously!!! I have the waterline I just need to screw two fittings together!!! And I should pay someone to do that!!! The line was cracked when I received my fridge. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!! DISGUSTING SERVICE!

I have reached out to Smart Home Electronics for three times already. And every time is was excellent experience. I had both my personal and business laptops fixed with perfect communication when a part was on its way and high level of customer service. My office laptop was falling apart; and at the first examination only adding screws the monitor frame was an option, but the tech team did miracles and after 3 and a half hours of diligent and meticulous work saved my laptop without any screws and damage to the hardware. Thank you so much!!!

Heed my warning: do not come and shop at this Best Buy if you are not South Asian, Asian, or Caucasian.
This is what happened to me. Today, November 27, 2023, I had to pick up my online purchase for an Oral B io 10 series, which I was treated well because I purchased the item before I arrived.
But it was the second purchase; that's why I am leaving this review. I saw that Best Buy was selling the io 5 series for $99.99 (on sale), so I decided to purchase this item for a family member for Christmas. When I arrived at the checkout, the line was long. I was sixth in line, and the line was moving slowly, so two more cashiers came to the front to help move the line. When it came my time to cash out, I approached a young South Asian female cashier, and she wanted to know about my online purchase. I showed her the receipt with my ID and informed her that I was only purchasing the Oral B io5 toothbrush. Still, as I remained respectful to the cashier (from India), she treated me like I had no right to be in the store. When it came time to pay, my 'Tap' on my debit card didn't work, so the female cashier shouted, "Your card is not working; insert your card and put in your PIN." Now, this is where it gets humiliating. The cashier proceeded to take the item off the counter and place it on the floor behind the cash so she could talk to one of her colleagues. Where I was cashing out, there were two other cashiers to the left of me with customers. After I paid, the cashier returned and said, "The payment went through." Then proceeded to bend down and pick up the item off the floor. I looked dead in her eyes, "Why did you place my item on the floor?" The cashier replied, "I have to protect the item."
I snapped back, "From what? There are four people (two people at each cash), plus there are four staffers at the exit; how am I going to grab this and make a run for it?!" But I didn't stop there; I gave this cashier a piece of my mind. "Funny, I watched you cash out sets of two South Asian Families who bought a PS5 and an iPad, and the second Asian family bought a Macbook; you didn't take their items away when they were purchasing, but you took away mine. How would you feel if I treated you the same way? You came to my country, and you're probably an International student, who I am one Canadian who welcomes all newcomers because Canada is a meltpot of diversity, and you have the audacity to treat me like I'm a thief when I spent $460 with the item right in front of you?"
She rolled her eyes and I snapped back, "Really, you're going to roll your eyes at me? What you did was wrong. Shame on you for bringing your racist ignorance into my country. And if the tables were turned, how would you feel if I treated you the same way? We are both women of colour, regardless of our ethnicity; how would you feel if someone, or myself, treated you the same way?"
When I said what I said, I didn't raise my voice, I didn't yell at her, but I gave her a piece of my mind... I cussed her out without disrespecting her or causing a scene. The cashier took a step back and paused. She didn't apologize, but she stood there shocked. After I paid, I found a store assistant manager who gave me a $25 gift card, but I am going to another Best Buy location and return both the iO 5 toothbrush and the gift card. Why? I don't need her negative energy to be added to this Christmas gift. Plus, as I waited for the gift card from the assistant manager, I watched that same female South Asian cashier serving other South Asian customers waiting to cash, and she didn't take away their items while she went and spoke to her colleagues. She treated customers who looked like her with respect, so this cashier is racist, simple as that.
So, to those who are reading my review, if you are not South Asian, Asian, or Caucasian. Please, go to another Best Buy; Black Canadians, all ages and genders, are not welcome at this Best Buy. Save yourself the humiliation.

Denzel was the person who assisted and helped my mom explaining everything and made sure she understood what she was signing up for along with giving us a great deal! The most amazing experience with Rebekah on Black Friday of all days. She helped me every step of the way from purchasing my headphones I wanted to porting my number over to Virgin Mobile. She goes above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of and goes out of her way to help out in anyway. I will be going back to this location and staying with Virgin Mobile purely because of Rebekah. My experience with her was so great that I am porting my partner's cell service over as well. Management, if you're seeing this, please give her a raise. She deserves it and she really demonstrates top notch customer service!!

I came in to get a new phone. I dealt with Sandeep S. If you were to look up exceptional customer service, there should be a picture of him. Not only did I walk away with the exact phone I was looking for, he knocked off some fees, thru in a bunch of goodies, and a fantastic plan. Forget going to my service provider next time for a new phone. I'm coming back here.

While I haven't encountered issues with this specific location, I want to highlight an ongoing problem I've faced with Samsung over the phone. I've been a loyal Samsung customer since the keyboard slide series of phones. However, I'm disappointed by how they treat their long-term customers. My S21 Ultra unexpectedly shut down while I was watching a video in the shower. Despite being marketed as waterproof, it raised concerns when it stopped working. I immediately placed it in rice without plugging it in, questioning how an advertised waterproof phone could fail like this.
After about a day, I noticed the charging port wasn't functional, so I resorted to using a wireless charger. To my dismay, the screen displayed a persistent green hue and became unresponsive to touch. Seeking assistance, I contacted Samsung for help, only to be offered the option to send it to a repair center at my own cost. Despite escalating the issue, all I received was an email that seemed likely to provide the same unhelpful response.
Interestingly, my wife had a different experience with her iPhone; it was submerged in a bathtub for five minutes without any issues. This comparison highlighted a stark contrast in quality between these two manufacturers. Despite Samsung's elaborate features, their phones seem poorly constructed.
I intend to update this review if and when I receive a response from the supposed upper-level email.

I am soo happy and blessed to get a wonderful customer service from Fara, it was soon pleasure to get the help from jet and to resolve my problem within minutes. If I had a corporate I'm definitely hiring Fara as one of the leading customer Service Specialist. Kudos to The Source for hiring one of the best employees. I've had one good experience here, out of three. Once, I got great service towards buying a phone.
The second time, I felt the rep was aggressive and had a poor process for a return.
The third time, the store wouldn't pick up their phone so I went in person to get help. They couldn't help as it was an online order. Then I asked if their phone works - it was on silent and the rep was aware there were three missed calls. Don't think that's a good practice, even during "rush hours" (6.30pm on a Tuesday?)
Bottomline: good service in person when it's not related to an online order. Everything else, see if other reviews had an easier time because I didn't.

The second time, I felt the rep was aggressive and had a poor process for a return.
The third time, the store wouldn't pick up their phone so I went in person to get help. They couldn't help as it was an online order. Then I asked if their phone works - it was on silent and the rep was aware there were three missed calls. Don't think that's a good practice, even during "rush hours" (6.30pm on a Tuesday?)
