Mumbai is known as the City of Dreams. We booked two hours luxury charter Yacht ride from Gateway of India into the Arabian Sea for 25 March 2024 evening. We were two couples and one kid. We enjoyed stunning views of the city skyline and coast while relaxing in calm waters. We had great views of the sunset, and overall a great memorable experience. We strongly recommend Yacht Sailing at Gateway Of India, Mumbai.
Worst experience ever!!!!!!
They put us on a boat trying to find our sailing boat. After 30 minutes still trying to find the boat let other people jump of our boat & pick up other people……after one hour we were back at gateway of India…really absolute worst experience ever!

Quite chaotic! It was a mess to get to the boats and you need to be physically fit to enter the taxi boat and probably also the sailing boat. We wanted to do the sunset cruise but then we taxied around for 45min as there was no boat free for us!
So we demanded to be returned. At least they refunded the money!

We went sailing on Seabird Yatch on 20th April. Feedback as below:
- Booking experience: Smooth. Jimmy reverts immediately and booking was seamless
- Boat Condition: The boat condition was not nice for few reasons:
1. Boat motor was not working properly + quantity of petrol/diesel was less (we were luckly we didn't need more)
2. Bluetooth speakers not working
3. Our boat didn't have any decoration despite explicity telling Jimmy about it (other boats had ballons etc.)
- Lastly and most importantly, the boat was such that everytime boat turned the rod overheads changed directions and it was very close to our head. We had to bend down to avoid being hit in the head by the rod. While our guide was proactive this is a serious fault which can lead to significant damage.
Overall some issue should be resolved by owners for a better experience.

I booked a private yacht during the morning hours for a group of 6 through Gateway Sailing Club. They had a wide range of options to choose from and the costs were very reasonable compared to other sailing groups I checked with.
The yacht was exactly like it was shown in the pictures shared. The transfer between Jetty point and the yacht was well coordinated. And the best part of this package is the sailing time. The sailor was extremely polite and helpful. He even helped us with the pictures and positioned the yacht in the lines of sunlight whenever we wanted a silhouette. All the support staffs were very careful with the elders and helped us throughout. The host was responsive and everyone was on time.
So we enjoyed the morning sun without a sunburn:)

Yes! So far it's ok if someone goes for the 1st time then it's an awesome time with your love once overall cool experience. If someone wants to experience day and night the best timing is 6 to 8 time slots, There are many slots but at this time you can enjoy the sunset view and night view of the gateway and hotel taj.
I had booked Nauti by nature (Hensa 34) for sunset sailing on a long weekend. This was the only good boat I could find available with any provider on the date. The booking was seamless and the boat although expensive was worth the price and would've deserved a 5 star rating. But I had to deduct 1 star because the transfer boat was a really old and not maintained boat with no proper seating and almost every other transfer boat you could see was a good one. And I deducted another star for all other issues like no glasses for the champagne I ordered or the bluetooth speaker not connecting or the balloons being yellow and white like a birthday party instead of red when the boat was booked for a couple or the flower bouquet was one which you use for wedding receptions instead of roses like I had asked.
Awesome Experience. Very nice service. We booked a slot from 4-6 so that we can enjoy sunset as well. In the both they provide complementary soft drink and snacks. Along with they have Bluetooth Speaker. You just need to pair the device and enjoy the romantic sailing experience with music and sounds of waves of course.
