My husband and I along with our two friends thoroughly enjoyed our cruise around Manhasset Bay. Thank you for accommodating us on the 2:00 trip when we missed our scheduled 1:00 time. In addition , thank you for texting me and the kindness displayed by Henry. We also loved the maps, but unfortunately, we left them behind at Louie’s when we stopped to eat. Is there any way my husband and I can be sent another one?

Great experience with Captain Ricky! Highly recommend doing the double class, both morning and afternoon instruction - the content coverage was extensive, way more instruction than expected! You can tell Ricky is truly passionate about teaching on the waters. Will continue to come back for ongoing education!

The ANGLER crew was very welcoming and helpful. Boat was clean, bait and reels were provided. They filet any fish you wish to keep at no additional cost. The boat switched locations at least 3 times so you’re not stuck at one spot catching nothing. It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

Our 11 year old recently attended The Angler Fleet run by Captain Kenny. This was our son’s first time fishing so we decided why not send him to fishing camp! Let me tell you that he absolutely loved it! They are organized, structured and very well supervised. My son learned so much about fishing and different fishes from Captain Jason and Joe and absolutely loved going everyday. He even asked us to sign him up next summer. Thank you Captains Kenny & Jason and Joe for giving me son such an amazing experience this week, we will definitely see you next summer!

Capt. Bob, Dev, and Andrew were very friendly AND Knowledgeable. Learned many little fun facts of the fish we caught (which weren't many). But they were an excellent crew for beginners!

Our party members who were forced to come along found fishing more fun than they had originally believed and are planning a second trip with this company. Hopefully, we have better luck!

Spent July 4th with Captain Kenny and the angler staff for July 4th with family and friends.
The boat was super clean and well staffed/well lit/well organized. The onboarding process was seamless. Great by staff and a lavish Buffett. Set sail on time and we got beautiful views of the sound /city prior to settling in for front row seats to an awesome fireworks show. Nothing between the ship and the barge where fireworks show was being run from.
Between the awesome hospital, staff, boat, views for firework shows and the moonrise this was a home run from beginning to end.

We took the Angler out on Fathers Day with 15 people including lots of kids-we had the best time! We caught tons of fish and didn't have to bring any equipment, which is perfect when doing anything with kiddos. The crew was fantastic-Capt. Ken knows how to host on his boat! Highly recommend any charter trip he offers for groups with families! Growing up in this town, waterfront activities are always the way to spend time with friends and fam!

As a group of > 30 people with mixed ages and experiences, we had a great fishing trip and many memorable experiences with the Angler Fishing Fleet crew. Here are a few highlights: (1) the choice of modified reels made the trip extremely kid- and beginner-friendly; (2) some soft fishing rods made baits sensitive; (3) the size 5 sinker is perfect for kids; (4) a great setting allows bites everywhere around the boat; (5) the crew are nice, professional, and patient for kids and beginners.

Ricky Mendez is a great instructor. Skillful patient and friendly. it was a lot of fun learning with him. We had a great afternoon. Highly recommended as instructor and Long Island boat rentals is also a great place.

I had Rick as an instructor. He was so patient and nice. Rick walked us through everything step by step. What a great instructor. He was funny and made everything so easy for us to learn. Definitely worth taking these classes. It gives you more confidence of how to handle and dock the boat after you are done with these classes. Great learning experience. Thank you Rick for being so patient with us and being a cool teacher.

My first time fishing and I enjoyed it even though I did not catch anything. The crew is friendly and very helpful. If it is your first time they will help you set up and teach you how to fish. They have snacks and refreshments available for purchase onboard. You can bring beer onboard with you. It is very kid friendly as well. I would do this again and probably next time I go with a group of my friends.

It was our first time to a sea fishing tour. My family and I really enjoyed the whole process! The crew are very friendly, helpful and professional! I'll definitely visit again and bring more friends! Highly recommended!
