Booked this wonderful sail for my engagement and could not have been happier with how everything turned out.

Thank you Jessica and Captain Dan for working with me and being very thorough and responsive with all of my inquiries; as someone booking from Canada it meant a lot to have everything planned out prior to arriving. It was wonderful, and I can’t wait for an anniversary cruise!

Perfect Night and amazing service on the Manhattan II. Strongly recommend the Sunset cruise experience for locals & tourists alike. It is a beautiful way to experience Manhattan. Special mention to Shannon for being very accommodating, organizing a seat upgrade and providing us with excellent service.

Had an AMAZING night sailing with Captain Paul and his Wife Melissa. They were punctual, friendly and so hospitable. The Odette was immaculate, Melissa made sure we had a great time. The Music was great, they made sure we were entertained and took us to all the sights we wanted to see. They positioned the boat so that we had spectacular views and great photo opportunities. They took us to the Statue of Liberty, up the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge and made sure to point out view points for us to see. Overall we had 5 star service hands down. Grateful to Captain Paul and Melissa for ensuring our evening was special. Can't thank them enough for all the great memories.

From beginning to end, this was a great experience! I was planning my engagement with the owner Jessica and she was informal, kind, and flexible. On top of that, Captain Kevin was the incredibly kind and so much fun. The day and plans came out perfectly thanks to Jessica and Kevin! They are happy to help and be part of your big day!

I cannot imagine a better company or captain to take a boat out around Manhattan with. Their boat is beautiful, the owner is extremely friendly and helpful, and we could not have imagined somebody better than Captain Krista. Thank you Capt. Krista for helping us have an incredibly fun night!

Well well , I said I would be back to finish my review once I got the experience , so here we go ...

First of all can we do 5 stars times 2 ? If you want the best experience of your life from beginning to end this is certainly the place for you .

The beginning of the experience : Jessica was just such a pleasure to deal with since day one , she made SURE she accommodated all my requests . If you read my very first review you'll understand , not to mention the date I picked was June 4th and the weather was horrible that day , rain and thunderstorm so we had to reschedule and right the way Jessica jumped in to find a day that worked for me .

The boat : the boat is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, Spotless clean and I absolutely loved the bean bag .

Now I certainly saved the best for last ...
THE CAPTAIN: Captain Krista is simply the best company you would want , she's very patient and accommodating as well as a great photographer. I don't even have enough words to describe her , so you'll just have to hop on the Sailing Islander in order to understand me .

This whole experience was amazing as this ladies went above and beyond to make sure I would have a magical time , and boy was it magical !!!!

So if you ever want to celebrate a special occasion or simply have a blast you have to try this boat .

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time for his birthday sail. Captain Krista went above and beyond our expectations for this experience. She made us feel comfortable in every single way. I feel like we’ve known her forever. That’s how relatable she is. Fyi, her music playlist is everything. This sail will definitely be something that we will never forget. This is definitely the place to go to for priceless memories. Thank you again for making this sail so special to us.

The plan was to charter a yacht for a cruise around NYC where I was going to pop the question and then get dropped off in Brooklyn, where all of our family and friends would be waiting for us. It was July 11, 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic and I could not find anyone who would accommodate any arrangements for my engagement idea. I reached out to Captain Dan and he came to the rescue. Captain saved the day and it was the perfect proposal! Not only did he accommodate all of my requests, he also arranged for everything to be taken care of so I didn’t have to worry about anything (I was already nervous about the proposal, keeping it a secret and making sure everything was perfect).

We got on the gorgeous and clean yacht and sailed off into the sunset. We stopped for some photos around the Statue of Liberty with the NYC skyline in the background and that’s when I popped the question. After she said yes, we popped some bubbly and off we went. We arrived at our destination and were greeted by family and friends. Captain Dan made it happen and everything was perfect. I highly recommend SailNYC and Captain Dan for anyone looking to rent a boat in NYC for any occasion!

I can’t wait to see the video of the proposal so we can show it to all of our guests at the wedding.

Great time! Relaxing and enjoyable. Well worth it for a special occasion or day getaway. Captains Dan and Ed are very detail oriented, responsive and welcoming. Bring easy finger foods and drinks as it gets windy and there is limited service space above deck. Wear flats with light colored soles to avoid scuffing the deck.

Unbelievable service and an amazing experience! I am so happy that I found you guys. We booked it to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They were super responsive and easy to deal with. The day that I booked turned out to be really bad weather and they made it super stress free to reschedule at my request. I will definitely be booking again! The Best 2 hour yacht ride

Captain Dan and Alessandro were welcoming and very warm throughout the whole sail and it was the best day to spend a day with friends on the water. The sailboat itself was beautiful and clean, we had a chance to try “driving” the boat. A great way to see the city in a different way, great for a special occasion with friends and family.

Thank you sooo much to both Captain Dan and Captain Ed! I reserved the Water Music sail boat for a surprise birthday event and I could not have asked for a more positive experience. Everything from reserving the boat, to paying, to finding and boarding the boat was so easy. Captain Ed was so welcoming and attentive to all our needs while aboard. The boat was absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. Captain Ed even turned the boat so we could get pictures with the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. SO GREAT! I could not recommend these guys more and we definitely plan to sail with them very soon.
