This was the most amazing tour. I am not a big whisky drinker but my husband is and I enjoyed this immensely. Mitch was so knowledgeable, kind, and mindful of our specific tastes and showing us some of the more unique distilleries. I couldn't recommend this more for anyone visiting Scotland and looking for a fun adventure.

I would give them more stars if possible. We just completed a 6 day trip with CopperCairn and could not recommend them more highly. Mitch, Jo, and Fraser are all incredibly knowledgeable about the whisky industry and the history of the area. Even better, they are wonderful travel companions. The whole trip was very professionally structured and carried out. Just a wonderful experience. We hope to tour with them again.

Mitch is a superstar! This was one of the highlights of our trip and Mitch’s knowledge of both the whiskey industry and the Speyside region made for a well-rounded, enjoyable day. Planning the tour was easy and affordable and we got to try some whiskies from Mitch’s personal stash which meant some we never would have had a chance to try. Oh, and hairy coos! Thanks Mitch & Jo!

CopperCairn provides the best possible whisky tasting experience. Mitch is in a league of his own when it comes to curating these experiences both due to knowledge and connections -- our tailored agenda (incl. distillery stops, picturesque pullovers, feeding highland coos, and many drams) could not have been better. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Booked a little mother daughter excursion and from start to finish it was the best day!! Not only were we fortunate enough to have gorgeous weather but spending the day with Mitch was perfect. His knowledge and industry expertise sets him apart right away.

Initial contact and response from Jo right away to include some back and forth on options. The whole process was super professional and impressive and she helped me choose our itinerary. From there Mitch picked us up in a spotless and beautiful SUV to include amazing goodie bags. We loved the stories and knowledge he shared along with the local vibe and camaraderie this community clearly shares. We had a perfect and bespoke experience that was beyond words!! Thank you Mitch and Jo for making my birthday extra special!!! Can’t wait to see you on my next trip!

Mitch was brilliant - super fun and incredibly knowledgeable. He gave the group an inside track on single malt whiskey and Speyside whiskey in particular. His connections opened doors we would not even have been aware of after researching the area. He was kind, funny and flexible and full of local recommendations. He even bought us all a dram at The Highlander. A real deep dive into the world of single malt! I hope to see Mitch again soon...

Collected in their immaculate CopperCairn VIP Transportation, we received a goodie bag each and set off

Stopping off at several distilleries, historical points of interest & a tour of our choice at a distillery - it was jam packed, but very easy

Cracking lunch, and spectacular views, Mitch didn’t disappoint

We still haven’t fathomed how he snuck a different tipple into his jacket at each stop for us though???

This is the only way to experience whisky in Scotland. Mitch and his team are amazing. They have all the best contacts, know the best places to go and make the experience unique and most importantly fun. I would recommend CopperCairn for corporate hospitality as well as to my friends and family looking for the true Scotland whisky experience. Mitch also has great ideas for excursions and experiences outside they whisky world. Worth every penny and is truly great value.
