I travel wit Alpha Adventure every time I come to Uganda from the US. Albert takes care of everything with a high professional standards. He is a great guide, very nice man and has a lot of knowledge about Uganda and nature . My next trip to Uganda and my next adventure will be Alfa and Albert again. We went on a four day safari through Akagera National Park in Rwanda. The tour was individually tailored to us and exceeded our expectations. Communication was easy and very reliable. Even a spontaneous change in the plan due to a participant's illness was also possible without any problems. Highly recommended!
Anne was just great at arranging our safari in Akagera. We spent 3 days guided by Irere. She is a tremendous talent and I highly recommend her if you are at all interested in birding. Thanks to her, I added nearly 80 new birds to my life list. And of course, the other wildlife was front and center. Rhinos, giraffes, zebras, water buffalo, a monitor lizard - just fabulous!
Highly recommend Mega Wild. Anne arranged a three day trip for us from Kigali to Akagera. Everything went smoothly. We loved our guide Irere!! We asked for someone knowledgeable about birds and Irere was a pro. She was a great driver and tour guide. Ask for her! We stayed at the Akagera Rhino Lodge just outside the park and it was amazing.
We had the most wonderful trip! We did one week of safari in Tanzania and one week in Uganda. Just absolutely beautiful, breathtaking, exciting. We loved our amazing guide Dalson who made sure every day was a highlight and full of smiles! We will for sure miss his stories.

Just returned from Uganda. The journey was very pleasant and combined the naturalistic and human aspects, thanks to the visit to some communities of women's associations which allowed us to spend a few hours with them and to get to know their realities. The naturalistic aspect allowed us to see the animals of the savannah and the chimpanzees and gorillas in the forest. All this thanks to an excellent organization by the agency and by Albert in particular.
We had the opportunity to had Peter as our organizer and driver for our safari. It was perfect in every way and we really recommend him and Alpha Adventure.

We used this company in September 2022 to organise our trip to Queen Elizabeth Park which included a road safari and water safari and an absolutely amazing trip to Bwindi to see the mountain gorillas. It was a bespoke itinerary and they worked with us and advised us about logistics, pricing and locations.
Our guide - John was awesome. He stopped off on route to show us sights off the beaten road such as a hot springs where locals bathed to get rid of ailments. We learnt about local cultures and traditions while we were travelling and he made sure any changes to our itinerary that we wanted were accommodated. Nothing was too much for him and I can't praise him anymore. He was also a very safe driver - which was very important to us as some of the roads are very rocky. I am a vegan so my diet can be a challenge in many countries but he rang ahead of every lodge to ensure they had catered for me and checked in with me about what type of food I liked. If you want to travel in Uganda use John! You wont be disappointed.

TLDR: This company also operates as Wild Rwanda Safaris. Booked the first part of our 17 day honeymoon and it was flawless and out of a movie. We are definitely going back.
Booked a luxury safari as our honeymoon, which was originally delayed due to COVID, and it went even better than we could have imagined. Here is our experience
- Our main point of contact was Belinda who we communicated with through WhatsApp. She tailored our itinerary to the areas that we wanted to see and would fit in our budget. She was very professional and prompt with responding.
- We put the deposit down via credit card as this was our first time sending money to Africa. Everything went well and we paid the rest via bank wire at the start of the tour. This was our biggest concern as there can be a lot of scammers. Next time I will just book with wire since Belinda is very trust worthy and provides receipts of everything
- Our driver was Paul and it was his mission to make sure we saw as much wild life as possible, which was our goal. He kept us on track and made sure we saw as many animals as possible including Lions, leopards, gorillas (obviously), chimpanzees. He also taught us a lot about animals and makes good conversation when we had our long drives. The vehicle was very comfortable and held up on those off road days well.
- Our intinerary included chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, Queen Elizabeth national park, gorilla experience in Bwindi, Lake Buynoni to end our trip. Everything was perfect and we keep thinking about it
- Accommodations: As stated we booked the luxury tier and we are so glad we did. The rooms were straight out of a magazine or instagram. Luxury camp sites and lodges where we couldn't tell if this was a tent or like a legitimate 5 star hotel room because they were so big, private and had all the amenities. Every site did turn down service in which at night they put down the mosquito nets and put a nice warm water bottle in your bed so when you get in its nice and warm cause the nights can get cold. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. Most meals were a sit down 3 course menu and the chefs are excellent. All the food is local. These lodges did it better than any other US or European hotel we have stayed at that call themselves 5 stars. Definitely set a new standard.

We booked a 10 day biking tour with GofreeUganda through Western Uganda, asking to experience the local African culture for an affordable price. We could not have been more pleased with the experience we have been given!!! Everything was well arranged (e.g. airport pick-up/drop-off) whilst at the time leaving a lot of flexibility for us during the entire trip to do what we felt like doing (which route, other activities than cycling,...). It felt more like travelling with two friends (shout out to Rogers, our organiser & van driver and Lawrence, our bike guide) than a trip managed by an organisation. Moreover they are both very involved in community work which ensures the good use of any money spent on the trip. We can only recommend this trip to anyone who's up for an adventure and who wants to be submerged in the African culture. Thanks a million times for the awesome experience!!!
We took a 15 day safari through Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. It was an amazing and life changing experience we will never forget. It was a great mix of game drives through various parks, visiting cultural areas and learning more about the communities. We also had some adventure such as hiking with gorillas, hiking with chimpanzees, and whitewater rafting the Nile! We had Stephen as a guide in Tanzania and Onan and Dalson as our guides in Kenya and Uganda. We could not have been more pleased. They really made the trip worthwhile. The guides can make or break a safari and these ones were awesome. Anne was the person I worked with to plan the trip and she was amazing with all of the nuance that I was seeking and making sure that this would be a perfect trip for myself, my wife, and two sons (18 and 16).
This has been my only safari so I can not honestly compare. However, I can say that Mega Wild Safaris completely exceed my expectations and ensured that we will be talking about this trip for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Exceptional customer service and highly knowledgeable and experienced staff. We'd been considering going through a larger company, but figured we'd also check out some smaller ones, including Instincts Safaris. We requested a quote and received a reply within a day from the co-founder Niels. He personally worked with us to customize our safari and make all the arrangements for our trip efficiently and thoroughly.

These are amazing people! A friend of mine and me rented two bikes in perfect condition from this place to go on a two week adventure through uganda on our own. Everything went smoothly. The shop is located in Kampala, but for small money they delivered the bikes to our hostel in Entebbe. During our journey we mailed them , if it was possible to rent the bikes for an additional day, which was no problem. I can only recommend this place. Thank you so much!
