Why is it easier to get illegal drugs than to get my mental health prescription
Excellent Museum at Albany the capital of New York State
What a great day. Went to Albany to meet some of our allies to talk about TOPA (Let's fire our Draculords* -AKA: Landlords)

Not original (this one belongs to Corinne).

Rent is too damn High* (Not original either)
The architecture is amazing here. I love that you can wander at you leisure - there is so much history here and great photo ops. The tour guides are so informative. Great time.
Alot of walking... can't be avoided but nice place to visit.
Grew up in the next town over but never gave Albany a second thought. Partied here a few times in my late teens before joining the service. I left New York back in 2000 because I was sick of snow. This past December I returned, a bit reluctant but now I'm thankful. There is so much history here, the architecture and the small shops are incredibly intriguing. These are things I would have never recognized or appreciated in my younger years. Somehow I feel we lose our sense of culture in our struggle to survive day to day.
Thousands of stone cutters from here and Europe sculpted this limestone monolith over decades. The seat of our state’s government resides here in all their infamy&oppression. Free to walk about and explore. Everyone should visit and enlighten themselves.

Stunning! Amazing! I took the complimentary tour and Ann was the host - she did an incredible job. This building far exceeded my expectations of what a Capitol tour would be like. If you are in Albany this is worth your time! If you haven’t been to Albany, you should go and visit and see the Capitol.

This was an amazing place to visit. There is a lot of history behind this building. I visited this place during the holiday tour. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. The entire build is free to visit for all visitors so I highly recommend visiting.
Awesome building and the free tour was well worth it. Building is quite impressive with the architecture and history of the design. You can walk around at your leisure and take pictures as there are informational signs around you can read for the history but I recommend the free tour they offer as the guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. She also made sure to point out highlights that I probably would have missed since there is so much to take in on your own.
What an amazing building. It is open to the public from 7am to 7pm every weekday! We took the 2pm tour which was led by Xilu. She was phenomenal!! This is a MUST SEE location.
eate reaources for the community and nice staff
If you happen to be conservative in NYS and require help with an agency or business but can't afford legal assistance don't expect much in the way of support should that need arise. Being without representation sucks but that's how they squeeze you and choke you out and this is from the Governor on down.
Was astonished at this breathtaking piece of architecture. Reading Phillip Sheridan's history after seeing his statue was also fascinating.
If you are visiting or passing through Albany, you must visit here. The interior is very beautiful. Also it is very different exterior compared to other state capitols. As someone who has visited well over 5 state capitols, I wanted to go to the one in Albany because how different it looks.

Remember that at least on weekdays, the last tour maybe at 2 pm. We missed the tour.
One of the best tours I have ever been on. The building is incredible. Carved stone, million dollar stairs, ceilings all beautiful. A must see for anyone visiting albany. It's also free.
GREAT BUILDING, colorful exterior.
I LOVE NY in front New York State Capital Building, Albany, NY

Have you ever seen the New York State Capital Building Complex and Rotunda? Egg Arena Building?
My 1st visit exterior buildings.

Waterway large and remuniscent Washington DC Square & monument. But in Albany New York State Capital.

Who would have known this complex is So Huge!

Great view from New York State Museum 4th floor, floor to ceiling windows of New York State Capital Building.

Agency Building 1 - building name, 1 of 4 left facing NYS Capital 12 o'clock - Massive Height

EGG ARENA right & NEW YORK STATE CAPITAL BUILDING in the distance.

New York State Museum Ext. Opposite end New York State Capital.

NEW YORK STATE CAPITAL BUILDING ext.
Beautiful building & great tour guide. Very impressive architecture!
I can tell the person who reviewed my complain barely look at the information I provided. What a waste of tax payers money.
Couldn't go inside, but the architecture style is nice to look at. Very Classic. Nice stroll. A must if you're in the 'Empire State' Capital, or Capitol.
I went to Albany, NY yesterday and we had an event their. The place is nice and clean. The guards were very nice to us. I will comeback again in the future.
Another successful Lobby Day for NYSAR
They're running an illegal daycare facility for members of the Legislature at taxpayer expense and yet they have the nerve to pass laws regulating daycare for everyone else?!
Are able to help you with being billed by utility companies in the wrong way or in excess
Beautiful building and pleasant tour guide, but be prepared for lots of demonstrators chanting and present at several points in the tour. It's democracy at work, but don't expect a quiet, peaceful tour. Directions and signage helping you to park and find the tour meeting point are very poor. My wife and I spent a solid hour walking around and talking to people to ultimately find the tour starting point.
Must see! The interiors are stunning! The admission is free but with guided tour only. So that’s why I strongly recommend you to make a reservation in advance. The biggest problem is that the tours are weekdays only. But New York State Capitol is worth to take a day off
Where the constitution goes to to be dismantled. As we regress back to monarchy.
Long live the peoples republic of new york
🇺🇸🌎🗽🌎🇺🇸 Geate reaources for the community and nice staff everytime I visit.
I filled out an online form to complain about Central Hudson Gas and Electric Co., who’s billing practices are outright thievery! I received an an email response from the Public Service Commission right away acknowledging my problem with Central Hudson overcharging us for our electric. Central Hudson hadn’t done a meter reading in four months and I needed the final bill because we had sold the property. Central Hudson tried to convince me a meter reading had been done on a Sunday! Yea, right ! I tried several times to contact Central Hudson about the the fact that my final bill was based on estimates and no final meter reading had been done and was always promised action but nothing was ever resolved. After contacting the Public Service Commission, Central Hudson contacted me directly and resolved and refunded our $750.00 overcharge. So yes, the Commission stood by us! Reach out to them if you think your utility company is ripping you off!

Went with grandchildren and reasearch was easy and nice view also from there.
Great for research and a real library.
While I don't care for the current, New York City dominated policies, the institution and chambers are breathtaking.
Extremely disappointed
I asked for help with my query and was sent to the other end.
When I got there I was asked who sent me.
When I was escorted back to the first desk it became clear that the big concern was who said what.
I asked to learn more about an incident that I had a newspaper copy from 1933 concerning my grandfather.
3 people at "the desk" no one could help me.
THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME. THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN SERVING THE PUBLIC. RATHER THEY LEAN SOLIDLY TOWARDS PROTECTING CORPORATIONS. PEOPLE DO NOT WANT SMART METERS. THERE IS AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF EVIDENCE THAT THE ARE DANGEROUS TO HOME & HEALTH. WHO WANTS THESE DANGEROUS DEVICES..CORPORATIONS. A POX ON THE PSC FOR BETRAYING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Incredible archives. I couldn't find a book, On Thermonuclear War by Herman Kahn, anywhere. Found it in the NYS library. First edition from 1960, pristine condition.

Replacement cost? $700.
Wow what a shock our electric bill is this month. It seems that the NYSEG buys electric for the year and if the consumers use too much they have to buy it later at a very high cost to the consumer. Why are we paying this high bill for their stupidity! Why don't they buy ample and if they have any left over they can put it in inventory? We are away for a portion of the winter so we actually use less electricity and pay more! We are at their mercy. Last year we had the same problem and we now have LED BULBS which use less electricity and our bill is even higher this year. And if you don't use normal amount of electricity they hike the watt cost on each customer. We the consumer are behind the eight ball. Public Service Commission does not answer letters. I tried that last year.
this library is great because they have books of nanotechnology
i hope they would bring many more
