Their so bad over there if you have something else to do on the day don’t come to that clinic I have a appointment a 2h pm I come at 12h pm to make sure I’m early 3h pm I’m leaving still no pass

Honestly, why even bother having this “agency”?! It’s just so incredibly sad how pathetic it is. I get that there are people taking advantage, & scamming the system, but that does not make it ok to treat the ones HONESTLY needing help like the bad guys. My heart breaks for the people that don’t have a support system. Apparently, this is a national problem. Just sad.

I've been tying to reach them over 10 days. A total of 12 hours and counting on the phone just waiting for someone to pick up. Finally, someone pick up to only hang up on me as if they didn't hear me on the other end. Last 3 conversations were had with rude, dismissive women. The worst part is that they will turn around and deny me because "I did not contact them" or "verify information". I am so over the departments unprofessionalism.

The staff is rude and please make an appointment because if not you will be here for a while before you can even provide your information to see if you can be seen by their doctors/nurses. I miss the one on Central it was much better.

Im just making 50+ calls a week and being on hold for hours on end just to have your next representative hang up every time. And 4 months later. I never got a hold of anyone and still haven't. They don't care about the well being of anyone but themselves

Phone Employees are disrespectful I called 8 times and they kept saying they couldn’t hear me when clearly I could hear myself on speaker and them giggling !!!! There are people that need serious of help !!! I see why most people in Florida have serious health issues, stds, and homelessness . Due too the unprofessionalism of their employees , phone calls need too be recordered/evaluated for both safety purposes, and look into the behaviors of the employees

I am very upset with DCF and how terrible they are. They took away my Medicaid and I’m a kidney transplant patient. I now have no medication and no health insurance. They never answer the phone.

I have applied four times. On my third time of calling numerous of times I final get to talking to a specialist who did my interview, after completing it, she had everything is good, no further info was needed and I was approved. The very next day I was denied due to all ready receiving food stamps and Medicaid services. Which obviously if I'm applying and having an interview done how could I already have services. I haven't had food stamps since November 2022. I can never get a hold of anyone. And the person that they told me to call for my interview her mailbox is full and she never answers. So I applied for a fourth time and I've tried to call several times and no one answered. Thank goodness cuz I was about to go to Robinson Street because I wasn't getting a hold of anyone. So I don't know what to do and my family is in need of food and medical coverage. There's something wrong with their system. And they need to fix it as soon as possible cuz there's a lot of families that are going without these needs. It's sad to say and they can't get their system straight. How can I already have assistance they can look and see that I've never received anything at all.

Thank goodness I read the recent reviews because I was about to visit this center tomorrow morning due to the lack of care in renewing my medicaid. My renewal was due before June 15, I sent in all my documents on May 24th where my account says the documents were uploaded and processed to only get an email saying my account was inactive tried calling the Medicaid Help number, it took over an hour to get anyone on the phone only to have them hang up on me twice mind you each phone call took an hour. I called a third time and Explained to them that I did everything they asked before June 15th to have them tell me they don't see my renewal application there's been a glitch in the system and that i would have to redo it however my portal won't let me and I explained that to them they proceed to tell me that I need to print out a new form and mail it in. Pretty sad families suffer due to their failed website, their failure to update the new service center address online, and overall the lack of care. Choose a different job if you don't care to make a difference.

It is absolutely ridiculous how they're beyond slow on everything. Even though I've done MULTIPLE renewal/reported changes well before my renewal date, not a peep from them nor further instruction. Can't get through to anyone. We now no longer have health coverage because they're so inept. I couldn't get my thyroid medication prescription today because I couldn't afford to get it. This place is an absolute joke!!!

I moved here from Colorado Springs at the beginning of the year and i applied for both Medicaid and food stamps. Since i had to give those very things up in Colorado or they wouldn't approve me for anything here i was finally able to get food Stamps but the Medicaid part is taking forever...... It's so weird to me that back in Colorado it didn't take several months and so much paperwork to get both Medicaid and food stamps yet here in Florida they take their sweet time even though they have all the information that they need plus they could call Colorado Medicaid to get all my information. I need medical help because i was seeing certain specialists for my conditions i don't know what else to do.

I have been trying to fix there error. Transfer to other dept on hold for more than 2hrs. Still no help if I can rate it 0 I would. Nobody knows how to fix anything.

Sabrina in Family Planning quite literally saved my livelihood.
She did what many before her told me couldn't be done (and was respectfully determined from the start) - reviews like these show up for major hospitals and doctors, so to receive such stellar care at this level PROVES this woman is destined for greatness.
She is human, and has similar limitations, but as someone coming to her for help with my own set of problems, my gratitude FAR outweighs any other concerns or feelings: she did not have to be as honest, patient, INFORMED, or dedicated as she was. But her decision to has totally uplifted my quality of life for the next half dozen YEARS. My heart is so full - and I am so grateful. Thank you and your entire team Sabrina. You all deserve nothing but the best.
Regarding the other reviews: It is a health department. Expectations should be managed on both sides:
Health Depts have limited funding and are given limited resources.
But, the health and medicine industry relies on too much trust to be regarded haphazardly, so the public should not expect less courtesy or care from anyone in that profession. If anyone has upset you at this facility, talk to the staff about it - they should make you a priority. Sabrina is proof that no matter where or who we are, patient or staff, we can always go above and beyond. xx

The nurses were all very nice BUT the doctor just left in the middle of the day without telling anyone and I had to go home because my appointment was with him.Just pure irresponsibility

I truly believe that the people who are trained to work at the call center are instructed to treat people inhumanely and disrespectfully and or there are no repercussions to their actions. It's impossible that every interaction that I've had with a representative has marked me in a negative way.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! These people do not care about our kids! They do not do anything you ask of them and if they do, you’ll be waiting for months before any of request gets done. I have temporary custody of my nephew and been request a change of his primary doctor since he was 3-4 month and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ! He’s falling behind on his medical review because DCF refuse to do there jobs correctly and by DCF I’m also blaming my caseworker who doesn’t communicate back when I send her text or call her ! She doesn’t even let me know she’s going on vacation ! She could at least let me know ahead of time and leave me a number that I could call for emergency! I understand these people have life’s too but when you apply to work for a company that’s involving children’s and other family I would expect some compassion and for these workers to be more thorough in their work. This is absolutely ridiculous! Be careful about letting these people take your kids away from you because they will neglect them and leave them in the system. I can’t get what I want now I could only imagine if my nephew was left in the system! I hate to leave such nasty review but when nobody is reaching out after constant texting and calls it leave me no choice. I don’t play about my kids and DCF shouldn’t either.

This place is a mess....I wouldn't recommend it to anyone specially if you are pregnant. They will make you wait for over 3 hrs to see a doctor, they are not friendly never greet you, seating there chatting among them. They are acting like that they are doing you a favor. Just an horrible place to go.

People pay extra tolls using turnpikes expect to save significant time on the road than using local traffic, only to find that traffic jams can occur everywhere anytime and roadworks take forever to accomplish. Junctions with SR-528, US-192 and I-4 are SOOOOOO poorly designed that when attempting a connection, you always have to reduce your speed dramatically from ~70 mph to ~25 mph within such short distance and then merge across up to 4 lanes in the heavy traffic to get to the correct lane. This design facilitates nothing but tolling and even generates far more traffic issues that are not supposed to be. The condition of road surface is pathetic, especially for the right lane where there are more trucks.

I got a review for you. Pay attention please and read carefully. I'm reviewing every one this year. They sent some one out to my house (I'm leaving names out). He had a list of countless items he said I had. @+;~^ where? I went and got my own tests done and had none of what was on his list. He returned say they were inconclusive about my results. I asked him to give my social on the form and turns out it was the wrong person. He told me this has happened to him before and that address was wrong also. It was for someone who lived in Osceola County. How could you not see that? I checked and there are 17 people with my first and last name. Two of which has my middle name also and the suffix. They were not even of the same race. Work on that. That said I had an infection anyway. So how come my kids don't have it huh? Nice work guys but you won't get this one. Didn't your training tell you that if the father had it then the kids would automatically have it. Times have changed I guess. One told me and I quote "if you don't die I want get my bonus." What does that mean sir? I'm done!

The usual 3 hour trip to wic office. The black nutritionist lady actually knows what shes doing unlike everyone else. Its first come first served so if u have an eight oclock aptmnt u can come in when it first opens nd be the first one in and out and if u bring paper from doctor stating height nd weight nd even recent iron level check u dont have to bring ur kid which is good if u get stuck waiting for hours. Iv done this multiple times so dont let them tell you it cant be done like that.

Legal Highway Robbery. The alternative routes to these toll roads are severelly under-developed leaving local commuters little choice but to take the toll road. I'm stuck paying $200 a month in toll fees just so I can get to work! Its legislation like this that ruins the middle class
