Best gelato I had in Italy. Get the pistachio and hazelnut. Very good prices too, especially for a heavy tourist area.
Best gelato I have ever had and trust me I have done my fair share of sampling. I went with Lemon, caramel and dark chocolate. Amazing all around!

Rude staff who is refusing to speak English language, i understand this is not England but its Rome, capital city of the Roman Empire which hosts hundreds of thousands of tourist so LEARN the international language !!!

This was a good gelato. They have three size options in cone and cup. At small you can have two kind, at medium it is three etc.

WOW…this is the best gelato I had in Rome! Much better than Geolitti! The chocolate was dark and rich, the mango Devine! Hidden treasure! A short walk from the Trevi Fountain.

The snacks and the coffee are very good.
But the owner didn't even give us a receipt for our order and didn't accept POS transactions because it was "broken". Also, the prices are way over the top. Not a fun experience.

Rude and racist tourist trap. Sadly people might go for a quick gelato without checking reviews. Save your mood for the day by avoiding a visit to this place run by idiots. It is a shame this place operates near Trevi and can ruin ur precious visit there. All reviews here about old lady, employee their rudeness etc were validated in my 5 min quick gelato stop. Unfortunate! Wish I can give 0 stars
I got mango and hazelnut and OMG. We’ve been two days in a row and it is just so beautiful. The mango is perfectly sweet and almost creamy but like a sorbet. The hazelnut was my favourite gelato ever. Highly recommend. Also friendly staff
Absolutely outstanding, literally the best gelato I had on my trip i. Italy. I got the Mango flavor, which was by far the most realistic, juicy, and rich Mango flavor that I have ever had in a gelato. It was absolutely perfect for that hot summer day in Rome!

This Gelato place is really good, it has a wide range of delicious flavours, the staff is very friendly and overall the service is great. Highly recommended to enjoy a nice stroll to the Trevi fountain.

My wife had a severe nosebleed start just outside this establishment and when I went in, explained emergency and requested napkins / tissue / paper / something to prevent a nose bleed, the owner told me he was closing the shop for the day so could not help. He was busy counting his money in his drawer over the idea of providing tissues to a woman dripping blood outside his shop.
Finally a very kind lady nearby offered to help.
Hopefully if this store gets a nosebleed from the sky high prices marked on their boards outside, nobody will offer any paper to assist…

Super delicious icecream! Creamy, with many options both of icecream flavors and cones, and a very good portion for the price. The flavor of the ucecream is super intense, the dark chocolate is very rich. Super recommend!
Very rude staff. I was with my husband and 2 small kids. I was trying to figure out what to order and the guy in the balcony yelling we could not sit if we didn’t order anything. We asked for croissant and water while accommodating the kids and they never stopped yelling at us. So we just paid and left. Crazy!

Delicious! Great flavour! Not expensive. We had affogato, milkshake, gelato, slush and espresso. Everything was wonderfull.
Normally I don't comment on google maps for any location but I really have to do that right now. The old woman and man are so rude to everyone. She was yelling at people just because another woman was taking some photo in the cafe and I tried to pay with card and it was refused for some reason then she and he were yelling to me as Italiano although I said I can't speak Italian. If you want to encounter with bad words and ridicilously stupid attitudes go there. However, Im warning you never go there!
Very nice surprise on our way out from the forum in the August heat. The owner was very nice & the gelato and granita were exactly what we needed. They also have a table inside with AC to help you cool down for a bit.
What a hell house. Similar experience to all the other reviewers I experienced hostility from the staff, exaggerated prices and poor value. I ordered a slushie, asked for a large was given a small which was only half filled (see photo) and paid €6. Was told by the old lady they didn’t have card, I said that’s all I had she said one minute then continued to finish the chapter in the book she was reading before pulling out an atm machine. She started shouting at me in Italian and I was trying to explain I didn’t understand and she kept shouting at me. The people in the front who spoke English didn’t assist, I just kept being shouted at in Italian. It’s little surprise this place has a 1 stat rating while the surrounding venues are all rated five. I’m not sure why such horrible people who refuse to assist customers would run a business in a major tourist area. Avoid these miserable people at all costs.

the most delightful experience at the gelateria dolce vita. the gelato was absolutely incredible and handmade, each scoop was like a burst of joy. Claudia, one of the owners of the shop, was incredibly helpful too. the owners are extremely sweet people, they helped us find where to buy bus tickets. i highly recommend this gem and i cant wait to come back
Our first gelato in Italy and this was so good that we went back for seconds in the evening. We tried out several flavors and liked the dark chocolate, cherry crunch, almond crunch, hazelnut, pistachio flavors. I guess they are all good.
Absolutely perfect vegan gelato! In the shop, every flavor with a white handled scoop was vegan!! So many choices, it was like a miracle. I went for passionfruit and mango. SO yum! I wasn't expected ice cream this good. It was a great surprise. The server was kind and funny and the portion for 8€ bigger than I would imagine. I really enjoyed being served here and the taste after as well. I fully recommend this place if you want a dessert at the Fountain!

So far the best ice cream I've eaten in Italy. I already miss it and will no doubt be back at some point. You simply have to try this in Rome! Huge selection and huge portions for the price. To top it all, a beautiful environment. I love it so much!

No kidding, this may have been the best ice cream I had in Rome. I didn’t have high expectations since we randomly decided to have ice cream while sightseeing but oh my… This was delicious! Also a lot of vegan options too 😋
My husband and I loved this gelato place. We came here multiple times because it was so good. Gelato is kept in a closed container - that’s how you know it’s going to be good. Our favourite flavours were: Nutella, pistachio, and milk chocolate. Decently priced as well.
Came here today with my family to escape the hot weather and the lady/owner was soo nice and really helpful. She gave us extra free frappé to taste. Had great conversations too with her. Would definitely recommend!! P.S the gelatos are homemade and the frappes are absolutely delicious.

It was hard to make up my mind cuz there were so many gelato places near Trevi fountain, but I think my choice was good. Definitely recommend Pistachio and straciatella in a cup here.
We landed here after several very long hours touring the Colosseum on a hot day. The employee greeted us with such joy and friendly enthusiasm, and such a lovely smile, we felt our spirits lift immediately. And the gelato was excellent! Some of the best we’ve had in Italy. Very authentic flavours and excellent taste thanks to the use of high quality ingredients.
The ice cream was tasty and very cheap! We didn’t sit there, we just took the ice cream and we loved it!

Searching for a dessert shop after our evening meal near the Colosseum we found ourselves walking into Flor. Surprisingly it wasn't very busy. We ordered a large cone each which comes with 3 generous scoops of ice cream but we decided to stick to two flavours each. I had salted caramel and after eight mint and my wife had cherry and Oreo. We both found the ice cream to be wonderfully smooth and flavoursome. Our service was quick and very friendly.

The best ice cream I’ve ever had! We went twice during our stay in rome and tried several of the flavours which were all delicious. If you like fruit ice cream the flavours are super rich and tasty, especially the passionfruit one, it’s definitely a must have. Tiramisu is also amazing, super flavourful!

We tried the pastries to great disappointment. This location's claim to fame is the movie Roman Holiday. Pastries were hard and cream filling reminded me of flavored shortening, with the exception of the Nutella sigaratte which was filled with Nutella.
I stopped here for an ice-cream. It was good, but they did not have all the varieties displayed available. Some were stiff.
Very unkind service. I went there twice, only because it was on my way, and I was desperate for an ice cream. Once I saw this guys grumpy face AGAIN, I felt like leaving. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye, no smile, no nothing! Just a sad, random and unhappy person being forced to work in gelateria. Gelato itself is ok but scoops are microscopic.

Good spot for gelato and sweets near the colosseum. Friendly staff, lovely little shop, right down from the Carrefour Express.

Amazing ice cream! Great flavour selection and comes with a free biscuit! There is also some seats at the back. Would recommend for those wanting to try more exotic chocolately flavours like rocher, kit Kat and Nutella. I had the rocher which was great and the cheesecake with Nutella which was unbelievably delicious. I would come back!

I ordered a fruit shake for €4 and it was horrible! I reckon the barman didn’t taste it at all. Perhaps order the basic and you’ll be fine, it’s a cozy nice place to study, language exchange or party at 7pm to late. Their aperitivo is pretty basic and doesn’t look appetising for me.

Great cannabis feel and brownie/cookies were solid. Fantastic concept, has a nice smoke lounge for tobacco only (if you're into that type of thing -- which we are not). Only 0.05% THC in products (low but legal limit in Italy). Check it out for the CBD products but be prepared for a slightly cramped space.

DO NOT GO HERE! If it’s possible to give Negative stars, this place hit a home run! “Tourist trap”, “ripoff joint”, “buyer beware”, and any other term that can be used to describe a place to be avoided, this is it! Our bill was €37,95...guess what we ordered?...not a starter, main course and dessert...No, we ordered two slushies (€10 each!) and a gelato (single scoop €13!). AND they slapped on a €4 service just for good measure! This place is close to the Colosseum, and it’s tempting because of the slushee machine out front and air conditioning. And to top it off, the big sign out front has the logo of the company “illy”, which is a well-known cup maker that many Canadian coffee chains use. We should’ve asked for prices ahead of time. Hopefully more people will read this (and other reviews) and avoid this place at all cost.

€15 a beer!?!? What a scam. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 beers, which we were assured were on the pizza and a beer for €10 offer. Sadly not. Food was poor, but the beers were a joke. €55.20 total. On top of that, we had to listen to the owner screaming on her phone for 20 minutes. Stay. Well. Away. If you do go in, make sure to ask for the full menu. Most of the menus have the drinks page missing, but a couple of them have it all, as the owner was only too happy to show as she robbed us blind.
I understand that prices for capital cities will be at a premium, especially in a tourist heavy location such as Rome; however, being charged €23 for ONE slice of cake and a bottle of water is flat out extortionate - the cake wasn't even that good since the entire thing was overwhelmingly drowned in whipped cream.

Unbelievable! Do not go in there! They advertised a lunch "special offer" on the board outside- €15 per person. We sat down and ordered whatever was on the board. Food was just warm and chicken leg rather dry. Nothing special. Fanta was watered down so much it tasted like orange flavoured water... When I went to pay the bill was €54.60!!! The rude woman on the till whipped out amenu from under the counter and said the lunch is €20 per person plus drinks! The offer on the board was "take away"! I went outside and the "take away" was written on the bottom of the board, in a tiny letters, amongst "free wifi, free sky". According to the woman "it was clearly advertised". What a disgusting place! Donot go there. Seriously.
My girlfriend and myself went here for breakfast. We got 1 coffee, 1 hot chocolate, 2 croissants and an American breakfast. Cost us €41.25!! And we were not even impressed with the food or service before knowing the bill. It just made it so much worse.
Given menus with no prices, 1 croissant alone cost €5. We were expecting to pay less than €20 as we got something similar down the street for €11.50 the day before but upon paying the girl ignored us while showing us the prices on the menu and adding them up. The 15% service charge on €30 should have only been €4.5 yet she somehow managed to get it to €11.25. I was too annoyed and shocked from this I just payed and left. We got no receipt or thanks or goodbye or anything. The girl also did not use the proper till only a calculator and I saw her pocket the money and just walk off leaving us standing there in shock.
