located near our accom, this was our go to bakery, the staff were friendly and helpful, the baguettes were cooked to perfection, we succumbed to the treats more than once which were awesome value, (cheapest we had seen in Paris), and tasty.

Really delicious! We only had less than an hour and the waiter was very accommodating. The portions were huge for the ‘menu’

We got 3 mini ice cream balls for 10,5. they look perfect and very yummy! Unexpected filling that’s brings additional flavor. Shop has minimal seating and quite cramped. Needed to repeat orders to staff several times before receiving the items.

We tried 3 small pieces (chocolate, mango and pistachio) for 10,5€. Chocolate and mango were amazing and definitely worth the money.

Berthillon is an old famous ice cream shop. Tried fig and chocolate sorbet for 6.5€. I think it’s better to take away the ice cream and enjoy it outside rather than in the shop. Fruit sorbet was too sweet for me I didn’t find its flavor natural, but chocolate one was good. Even though there is better ice cream in Marais which is near Ile Saint Louis, this place can be good to try out and see the vibe on the little island.

Great place to eat. Me,my wife and my daughter were staying in a Ibis hotel just few minutes walk. Our initial plan was to dine here once,but food was so nice that we came back next day.
Very pleasant service by all waiters and older gentleman,who I suspect was an owner.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Love this ice cream, it’s famous for a reason. We got honey nougat and speculoos but there are lots of flavor.

Heads up: There are many shops and cafes nearby that say “Berthillon” in the window because they sell the ice cream so make sure you go to the actual right place! (And not just some random cafe that carries their ice cream cream.)

This place is normally crowded, but in terms of price and taste, it's good and convenient. Great for a casual dinner after work or sunday lunch.

I heard this is popular ice cream shop but there was not a queue when I visited in the evening on late autumn.
One scoop 3.5€ and it’s so tiny for that price.Taste is good but it’s too expensive for that taste.It could be better if there’s some cover for the containers of ice creams.Cuz i saw a staff spit unconsciously on them when they talk.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the history of ice cream in Paris. Their signature flavor is Mango Vanilla for which the founder (David Wesmaël) won the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Glacier in 2006. I had the cheesecake and caramel flavors which were also really good 👍

Light and fluffy croissants. Fresh, soft baguettes. Friendly service, who understood my mangled French.

Good place for an ice cream. Good in flavour and good size. It was a small queue, staff friendly. Well located, quite close to the Notre-Dame cathedral.

The ice cream shop was recommended to me by a shop assistant at a shop selling shirts. All the ice creams are delicious✨I got the Fig and salted caramel flavours with whip on top. They look pretty and the coffee was delicious! There are so many different types of ice cream that it's hard to decide 🥰

Tasty Indian food. Not spicy at all but with the right flavoring. As an Indian I would recommend it to everyone who wants to try out Indian food. Very pleasant space. Outdoor seating is available. Super good service by the person who handled us.

We came in as a big group on a Sunday lunchtime and we get served fairly quickly. The food is really nice at a reasonable price here. If you are really hungry, definitely come here they will fill you up.

visited here as silly americans speaking very little french. our server was incredibly sweet and kind. the best service we had for our 5 day trip, as well as the best food! right near the 7 metro and lots of hotels. highly recommend.

Tried their food for dinner while staying in Paris. It was near my hotel so I decided to try. The ambience was a little congested but overall good.

Tried their Butter chicken with nan. The cost is high as compared with other options available in Paris. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but not exceptional as well.

We arrived around 8.30pm on a Sunday and we were second in the queue for a table. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table to be available. The first disappointment came that I kept getting attention from waiters that I’m ready to order several times but I was kept being ignored, maybe because my table is next to the window behind a pillar. The table next to us arrived after us but ordered food way before us. We waited for about 20 minutes before placing the order. The frustration is that only the owner can take the order which is the main reason why it’s so slow. When I complained this to the owner, he said:”Did you see we are very busy? Do you want to place order now or what?” He is certainly doesn’t care about losing one customer since the restaurant is so busy. He didn’t argue with me but clearly his attitude is ‘whatever’- I don’t need your business! It was well after 9pm when we ordered the food and that’s very late for a family with young child to dine out.
My first impression after seeing the menu is wow- the price is really good! So I ordered 6 dishes altogether for 3 of us (one is child). The food tastes okay but I was disappointed to find out the portion size is very small. They are all starter sizes. So I ended up ordering an extra dish after we finished all food as we weee still hungry. The last dish was supposed to be spicy duck salad but it definitely didn’t taste like duck but more like liver. I didn’t complain as it’s so late and I just want to leave. So each individual dish is quite cheap, it’s only because it’s starter portion size. Our bill at the end is about €65 for 2 adults and 1 child which isn’t cheap and we only had water. All in all, it’s somewhere I would want to return.

It is not fresh nor real Indian food, it is just a joke.

I made it clear to the owner that I am a chef coming from Italy on trip to Paris and I showed him a lot of Enthusiasm how much I miss good genuine Indian dinner so he assured me he is one of the best so I was fool to believe.

Chicken tikka over salted and under cooked. The lamb biriani was real disappointment, over cooked old rice lack of every taste of biriani, the only taste you will recognise is the cheap cubes of chicken broth that you buy from the supermarket.
Zero effort from the chef and very cold attitude from the owner.

I had with my companion 3 1/2 pieces of chicken tikka just to make sure we are not making a false claim but when we started what so called lamb biriani it was absolute disaster.

I have returned the food back kindly and peacefully and kept the money un-refunded to support them out of kindness hoping they will learn a lesson which I doubt.

Anyway our dinner spoiled and the nice memories in paris has been effected.

Food is fresh and amazing and the owner was very kind! Croissants super flaky.

We had to wait to get seated but it was Saturday afternoon so not the fault of the staff. They were incredibly quick at the turn around of tables and getting us seated. Menu was simple. I got the chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and it was some of the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had. My husband got the chocolate cake and it was also great. It was a perfect treat on a warm afternoon.

Also they give you free water and there is a decent toilet available for use.

The reviews had hyped this place up and it was good, but not amazing. Maybe my expectations were too high. The ice cream all had a lovely texture, but flavours were not as strong as I was expecting, with the exception of the passionfruit which was the stand out winner. I did like that the green tea wasn't too sweet. The shop is really nice though, and smack in the centre of Paris. Their cakes look out-of-this-world gorgeous.

Great Indian food and incredible value for the price. Tandoori was phenomenal. Garlic Naan was cooked perfect. Butter chicken curry was on point. Mango Lassi was fire!
The server was super kind with a nice smile. They mostly get online orders, so the place was quiet and not crowded, which actually adds to the experience for us. It's like we have the whole place to ourselves.

More low-key and certainly less busy than the bright bakery just up the street, but good none the less. Very nice bread!
Cappuccino was tiny though!

My favorite Lao/Vietnamese restaurant in Paris. We always try to come here at least once every time we are in Paris. There is always a long line. My uncle dines here frequently. We waited a good 30 minutes this time around. We were pretty hungry by the time the food arrived. Because everything is freaking delicious I am not even going to give ratings. We ordered:

Lao sausage
Sticky rice
Salade de riz porc
Steak Lao
Morning glory
Mango sticky rice dessert
Banh canh
Papaya salade
Crispy intestines
Bamboo dish

We finished all of it! Portions are smaller than in the states but quality is excellent. Be ready to wait in line!

Patronized this establishment based on the reviews but thought I should set the record straight. The staff was not friendly, unmasked, and the pastries weren’t fresh at 9am in the morning. Disappointed!

Pretty awesome ice cream and a really nice store. The Mango-Vanilla flavor is excellent, and evidently of high quality as visible by the vanilla bean specks. The pistachio flavor on the other hand had a taste of almond extract (benzaldehyde) which was not desirable. Either way the base texture of the various flavors are excellent and still a great stop for ice cream on a sunny day!

Inexpensive yet excellent pastries! We stumbled across this shop by accident and it became our favorite snack stop in Paris. They have a wide variety of items salty and sweet, we settled on a strawberry tart and slice of apricot flan. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and the store has a great atmosphere.

The restaurant is located in the district number 13 of Paris, in the Asian town.

The restaurant is kind of cosy. It has a traditional Asian look from the outside and from the inside too.

The menu is huge. It took me a while to decide for the dishes I wanted to try! Food is simply delicious. Full of flavours Portions are good size.

Service is nice, fast and friendly. They speak little English, but just enough for them to get by when you order.

The restaurant is located a bit far off the Chinese district per se. This joint offers some tasty Lao/Thai (and Vietnamese) dishes! The service staff is reactive, accommodating and very efficient, especially during rush hour. Expect to wait a bit (take-away service is also proposed). It would be tough to suggest one dish above all as we didn't have any bad experience for the past 5 years. We would suggest to go for egg noodles (mentioned in the House Specialities): you won't be disappointed by the quality (and quantity).
My tip: Salads are worth a try, especially the chicken feet one. Don't forget to adjust the spice level while ordering!
