It's clean and food is cooked to order hot when you get it. The best ice-cream, shake and Sunday's. I go everywhere end.

Good inside, very enjoyable and spacious. The employees were very welcoming and had good service. Food was hot (*freshly* fried chicken), tasted amazing, and was worth its price. The ice cream (a Reese's Blizzard) was just absolutely amazing. Best thing I've had in a while.

I really enjoyed the service! Not many workers present but when I ordered my 4 blizzards there were 2 young workers (one was Mexican male I think and one was a African American female) they greeted me and my grandson with a smile and overall were very kind! They were generous with the portions which made our day! We will definitely be coming back!

I love their brownie sundae. The brownie is warm and gooey on the bottom with vanilla ice cream on top with pecans, chocolate syrup, a cherry, and whip. It hits every time. The service is always spot on. 💕 🍨

Dairy Queen consistently puts out a good product. The girl who handles our order was phenomenally sweet. However, it's a little bit disappointing that none of the dairy queens around me seem to be able to use their own app properly the elzep. Location doesn't accept the app promotions at all, and this Orland Park location did not have any reward points available. Or any of the app options, however, they were polite about it and said that they were working on it. The product was top-notch as it always is and the salted caramel truffle blizzard that they have for this summer is definitely worth trying. Looking forward to trying the cotton candy one next.

Their drive thru is not open until 11pm. Don't make the mistake of driving all the way over there like I did.

The ice cream is DELICIOUS!! Best in the Midwest! My favorite is butter pecan with a couple of sugar cones broken on top. 😋😋

Atmosphere- also mediocre. It gives off a to-go vibe and isn’t too welcoming to those dining in.

Service-0/5 stars. Absolutely terrible

For starters, I want to make it known that we will never be coming back to any Smashburger, but especially this location ever again. This was the worst restaurant/food experience I have had in some time. The service in general was poor because we ordered our food as dine in and they gave us a burger with fries for us to watch another person in our group eat almost immediately after we sat down. 25 minutes later our wings came out. We were still waiting on the burger I ordered. When we inquired about the burger we were missing we were met with a very unprofessional “woman” with an attitude. Clearly wasn’t trained in any way with customer service or how to handle any basic restaurant concerns. It turns out the guy that took our order didn’t charge us for our second burger that we ordered. A simple mistake however we weren’t given a receipt so we wouldn’t know that. Instead, we kept looking at where they were putting the orders to see when our burger was up the entire time. Once we inquired about the burger and got a receipt to see that he hadn’t charged us, the already aggressive and dismissive woman, met me with even more attitude. She is the sole reason why we would never come back. This is the representation of Smashburger as a whole that we will always have. The face of this new restaurant in our city is one of an aggressive and unprofessional woman with an attitude. She is the woman pictured over the fryer without a hairnet. Another unprofessional sight that we witnessed. Because of this, we won’t come back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here ever. Our total was $60 and I tipped making it around $66 for us getting no service and an absolute terrible experience in the end for two orders of 6 wings and one burger with three sides of fries. Take your money and do business elsewhere and go somewhere where the company values the full experience of its customers. Based on my experience and so many others, it is clear that this location needs a lot of help. And it starts with the people that are employed there, they are all not trained in Customer Service. My recommendation would be to get an entirely new staff and training them properly. 0/5 stars overall.

The food is not the issue at all here. Apparently its management. We placed a small order but there was an item left off of the list. While waiting for our food we noticed that a burger took way longer than normal. We then asked the staff who were unsure and tried to find out the issue. They then got the manager who immediately turned it on us. I am a black male and the manager at the time was a black woman. This is what made the interaction even more disappointing in a town where African American numbers are not so high. She told me that I never ordered a burger and to show my receipt. Let her know that I was never given a receipt by the cashier. Her response was "we didn't charge u". I let her know that I could not confirm this as I never received a receipt. She then proceeded to walk away with no words. I asked for her name, which she would not give but I have pictures of her and the workers that day. Not only was the manager rude and argumentative from the beginning, but not once was the goal to assist in the scenario. I will never spend another dollar here nor would I recommend anyone give money to such bad management

If you like Dairy Queen products, patronize this store. I usually order an Oreo Blizzard, and it is delicious, with a good balance of ice cream and cookies. I've ordered the fish sandwich and it was good too.

Went to Dairy Queen in Orland Park for the first time in years. I quickly confirmed why. Granted we did go on free cone day, the service was horrible. Waited in line for more than 5 minutes for the family in front of us to order. Thought for sure it would be food and such, nope, just ice cream. Came myself and my gfs turn we each requested 1 free cone and I also ordered a large twist dipped in chocolate. Total was over $6. On the menu it costs $.29 to get a small cone dipped. I was charged $1 to dip a small cone and about $5.37 for a large twist dipped. Wouldn’t have been a problem if I got what I paid for. I did not. The cone was severely leaning and was about half the size I expected. I mentioned this to the female that made the cone and took the order. She looked me square in the eyes and very rudely said “if you want I can take it back and make it smaller”. Needless to say it will most likely be years again until I return to be disappointed again. RIP Dairy Queen!

We were going to order shakes, but were told that the shake machine was already closed for the night, despite it being two hours until closing. My partner and I ordered burgers and shared fries. His burger fell off the plate as she was bringing it out to our table, and she picked it up and placed it back on the plate as if nothing happened. My burger was charred completely on the bottom, and I ended up asking for a new one. New burger was fresh. Fries were stale and old. I would revisit Smashburger, but definitely a different location!

Overpriced, but what isn't? Burgers are okay. Tarter tots are over seasoned. Chicken tenders are too salty. There are better options around.

I love coming in to this ice cream shop! This is a young lady whose name was Lauren that used to work here was always so pleasant, I have not seen her for quit sometime now. The staff are still always so wonderful!

I understand everyone is short staffed but none of the food came out at the same time. At least 5+ mins after our food came then my sons. The server didn't say anything like his is taking longer nothing, just dropped our food and walked away. He had chicken tenders is not like it was a specialty order. The bathroom was horrible. Urine all over the toilet, smelt like no one had flushed it all day (which I doubt anyone had) no soap, everything was dirty. To top it off there was a piece of blue wood (???) in my sandwich. I was so disguised by the resturant and the staff we just left.

The person who took our order was obviously sick and coughing and sneezing and rubbing her nose which you could tell cuz it was irritated. It was really gross. Then we were the only people in there at the time but took almost 30 minutes to get our food. The portions were sooooo small for such an expensive burger (it was just ok) but to top it off our garlic fries were so soggy we couldn't eat them. Spent almost $40 for 2 small burger 1 basket of fries and 2 small drinks. That's not a good deal at all.
Plus why where the cooks NOT wearing hair nets? 🤔
So gross and way to long not to be wearing a hair net around food.
Be warned

This place is a health hazard. Do not eat here. The restaurant is filthy, there are food crumbs on every inch of the counters and floors. A half cut banana lay exposed, spilled sauces leaked on the counter & uncovered containers containing dips or fudge? all while fruit flies were around that area. There was splatted milk all over the place and blizzard machine was filthy. If the front looks this bad I wonder what the back looks like. I am very worried that someone can get seriously sick from eating here.

Smash Burger is a hard NO for me!

The burger itself was so unseasoned I found myself adding pepper and dipping it in a side of Ketchup. For an expensive burger, no way!

Fries lukewarm! No way!
Onion shredding that you use on top of burgers as garnish! No way!

On top of that, their service staff is so rude and terrible!
Eye rolls for taking orders, Joking with each other and turning to us like we were interrupting their good time, and when telling the cashier what we didn't want on the burger...we were met with "That doesn't even come on that burger".

I don't know the menu clearly, their response was rude and quick. But glad they did something correct here.

My favorite was when the cook called our table order, we waited a few minutes to realize ("oh we have to get our food") but then saw the same staff pick up someone else's food and bring it to them.

This was an awful expensive experience, could not recommend.

This can’t be the same Smashburger everyone has been raving about.. ain’t no wayyy. First time and last time there. Super small portions, food was mid and too pricey. The onion rings were burnt to hell!

Typically this is a great place to bring the family for a nice ice cream treat, and I am a loyal customer to this specific location.

However, I purchased two vanilla malt shakes on Saturday July 1 2023 evening and was surprised to what I found in both. There were two small plastic pieces with jagged edges, one found in each malt. This is a health hazard if ingested and could be even lethal. Therefore, I am glad that we caught this before anything worse would have happened. From a potential cracked tooth to an intestine puncture, all possible outcomes would not be positive.

I hope that this was an isolated incident, and I ask for this franchise to be more careful with their equipment, tools, etc. when making food and drink items. Please be careful for the health of your customers.

This was a delightful place. Clean, welcoming, tasty.
The employees were very welcoming and patient as I tried to maneuver through all of their selections. I got a waffle cone —that turned out to be very large and interesting— with a scoop of lemon blackberry and also a scoop of mango pomegranate sorbet. The employees were so quick that they brought my ice cream before I even finished paying! I will say that I got a lot more than I expected. It was a lot of ice cream, more than your typical scoop size. The ice cream was flavourful and creamy while Sorbet was very refreshing and juicy. The quality of the ice cream was impeccable, but it came with a hefty price. For 2 ice cream cones with 2 scoops of ice cream each, my friend and I paid $20. I would recommend considering the price before going if you are on a short budget. Overall, this is a really nice place to get some good ice cream. Definitely for a special occasion!

Went through the drive-thru, and the line was somewhat long, but It moved very quickly. I ordered a strawberry banana shake that was made perfectly. It wasn't too thin, and it wasn't too thick. It was Goldilocks... Just right !!! P.S. On our second visit we went inside. The place was extremely clean and the staff were courteous and very hard working. Our orders were made to perfection and tasted great. This is an awesome location !!! We will definitely be returning customers.

Drive thru had a long line but it moved moderately quick. The employees looked like they were having fun and were super chill. While waiting for our order we saw multiple employees washing and rewashing their hands in between orders for the in store service. Cleanliness is a huge plus and feels good knowing they value it too. On to the shakes… ordered strawberry and 2 chocolate shakes. Well worth the wait and the price. We’ll most definitely come back to this location!

Outstanding yummy ice cream and milk. Plus, there are fun toys and things to purchase.

Always a great stop to enjoy some fun time, especially if you play chess. There are chess sets on 5 or so tables.
