I love Old Hudson and Warren St . The shops are amazing . I love to shop in antique shops and galleries. I top it off by going to lunch at Olde Hudson food shop and cafe . The food is excellent and everything is high quality tasty and fresh . The atmosphere is clean and inviting. Soup sandwiches and more. Eating there completes the day in Old Hudson .

I’m so disappointed in this place now. The first time I tried their food, it was delicious so I decided to order again about a week ago… came out to $60! I ordered the hot honey chicken, roast beef cheddar, a slice of cake and a slice of cheesecake. The hot honey chicken sandwich was not only dry but the chicken in it was burnt which made it almost inedible. The roast beef cheddar was dry too with barely any cheese. After the disappointing dinner, we decided to try the desserts. The first was a salted caramel (which we weren’t sure exactly what it was since that’s all it says) and it had a very strange taste. I’m not sure if the cake (turned out to be a slice of cake) was cooked in oil since it tasted like it was fried with bad oil or if it just had gone bad but we threw out the rest of the slice. The next day I decided to try the second dessert which was supposed to be Oreo Cheesecake. I opened it and to my surprise it was very much not cheesecake, VERY stale and when I tossed it in the garbage there was literal mold all over the bottom of the slice. Unfortunately this experience ruined it for me.. you can make people extremely sick serving bad food and I won’t be ordering again.

Despite some of the other reviews, I thought the food was pretty decent, the roasted vegetable sandwich was was flavorful and filling. The two stars are for the sandwiches. The drinks and food cost 40 bucks and we left a tip. Overall however this was not a pleasant experience.

Boyfriend and I are sitting outside with our sodas and sandwiches with our infant, eating peacefully and enjoying ourselves, when a blonde woman walks in from the street and gives us the stink eye. She walks right over towards us and accusatorially demands to know— “EXCUSE me, is that OUR FOOD?” We look at her puzzled. She realizes we were indeed eating their overpriced food and she tries to 180, stammering that people sit at these tables with outside food all the time.

It did not feel good to be accused of loitering after paying close to 50 bucks for sandwiches and being THE ONLY PEOPLE SITTING THERE. Plus she came in from the street so I had no clue who she was. She really should have checked inside before accosting patrons at what I assume is her establishment. It completely ruined the experience. I’ll never give her my business again.

I'm gonna start this in a way that is to the point: IF RICHIE IS NOT THE ONE THAT MAKES YOUR ORDER, DO NOT EAT IT. Whoever it is that he has working with him, they are morons. Period. They consistently mistake orders, and seem to not understand a word of what you are saying when you are talking over the phone. Not to mention they can't make the damn food right. Richie is a wonderful chef but please please hire better people because they are tarnishing the name of your establishment. Also: I FOUND A PIECE OF DAMN PLASTIC IN MY FOOD TODAY. Unacceptable and this is the nail in the coffin for me and my coworkers who frequent here. We will be back ig things change, but if they don't then do not expect our business again.

I called to order some sandwiches and some smoothies and clearly there was a language barrier. I’m pretty sure he got upset and said to order through door dash because it’s a group order and hung up on me. I would’ve definitely ordered through door dash if I knew that was the case but I only live 5-10 mins away so why would I do that? Things should be handled correctly. Never ordering from here.

Coffee sucks! I went and got a vanilla cappuccino and it tasted like black coffee. You can get a better cup of coffee at speedway for half the price.

A hidden gem that is popular amongst the locals. I was a bit hesitant to get food from here but after smelling the chicken and lamb over rice from a door dash delivery I completed and loving halal food I just knew I had to give it a try! I’m super glad that I did. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to try other items now. The prices are super reasonable and don’t cater to the overpriced customer clientele that Hudson has become know for which is also a huge plus. The portions were also super generous!

This morning, placed an order through door dash. This is the only consistent way I’ve found to place an order ahead of time, the owner does not pick up the phone or receive online orders from the fully functional website.

Ok so. Placed an order through door dash. Owner never confirmed order—okay, this has happened before at chef Richie’s deli. However, I was already charged for my breakfast order. I get on my coat and shoes and walk over.

When I get there, the sign says closed, the door is locked, but chef Richie is behind the counter doing prep. 9:30 am btw. I knock on the door, he finally comes over to the door after I loudly said “I was charged already for this order.”

I’m not sure what state of mind he was in, maybe he needed another cup of coffee. He said he didn’t receive an order and the store wasn’t “ready to be open yet” (Google said it’s open, I was able to order and be charged)

I said as much, said I would appreciate if he could cancel the order on his end since he wasn’t going to make it. He said he was in fact preparing the order, then listed off a Greek salad or something which I didn’t order. He told me to call them to have them cancel the order, then shut the door in my face. Kinda sucks.

I only tried 1 item so far. A burger It was good and reasonable. Heading back for some other items soon

Fantastic sandwiches and super pleasant proprietor. Felafel wrap was among the best I'v ever had (in a highly competitive field!) and my daughter raved about her honey chicken sandwich, too.

I visited this establishment for the first time recently and have to say that it was a complete waste of time, as the haughtiness displayed by not pricing their products, especially their cheeses, with a group atop the counter not even identified, was beyond the pale! The prices they have the audacity to charge for their French chocolat bars were clearly usurious, given that other retailers upon searching, priced them fairly! I have worked and lived in high-worth communities both in NYC and Long Island and know that this supercilious practice (if you have to ask the price you cannot afford it!) is a thing of the past, as you never know who your customer who walks out can be!

Best place in Hudson for a quick and inexpensive meal. I’m partial to the falafel gyro, and I also love their surprisingly expansive selection of vegan cakes.

Anyone who comes to Olde Hudson needs to try their coffee specialties. I just tried the chocolate hazelnut hazzze latte it was very good. They have other types of coffee hot or cold including teas and if you are interested in wine They have that too including Pastries.
I recommend this location.

A great shop, conveniently located in the middle of Warren St. This grocery store has many products from local distributors and has something for everyone.

Great selection of fruits, vegetables, staples, beers and wines, meats and cheeses. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Great Place for Coffee, pastries and delicious food!
They have a great selection of European cheeses as well as other products ! Most Definitely a place to stop by while in Hudson NY !
Highly recommended !
