I have now had 3 orders from Online Meats and about to order my 4th.
I have purchased a meat box each time, and the quality of the meat is exceptional.
The steaks are thick cut, as is the bacon.
The sausages are the best quality ever. The Pork roast was absolutely delicious. The chicken was great as well.
Everything I received from Online Meats was above expectations each time.
Having the ability to pay through Afterpay made the purchase a lot easier as the ability to split the payment over 4 fortnightly installments has made it possible, being on a disability benefit, to be able to have great quality meat at a good price through these hard times.
Would I recommend Online Meats to anyone, yes I would.

I am very happy with online meats service. My whānau and I have been ordering with them for a couple years. Great amount of meat and quality for the price, never had an issue. Delivery time frame at night is great, we are able to be home after mahi for the packages, we able to track the vechicle during delivery. Even click and collect is easy and convenient, with great customer service. Also awesome that Afterpay is an available payment method that saves stress.

I've ordered a few times now. Best price, good quality and lasts for the fortnight in our house of 4 adults with visitors on the weekends. Pork roll is my favorite and the sausages are a family favorite

Great quality at great prices with great customer service. I've shopped around and tried some other online meat delivery but these guys are the best. My only nit pick is that it would be handy to have the list of ingredients for all foods for people with dietary restrictions and also cure the bacon to add a bit more flavour.

I absolutely love the amazing service and variety of quality meat from Online Meats. It’s a game changer from supermarket meat. I’ve used cuts of meat that I wouldn’t usually buy and found the recipes on their website very inspiring. The photo is of my first ever spare ribs!

Love this shop but disappointed that the young staff in the weekend dont know how thin to cut smoked beef. Been there during the week while on leave and it was on point but weekends find they slice it too thick

Interesting that nobody from MeatWorld has even bothered to reply to any of these very bad reviews. I think that says it all really. However I am going to add something else you should be aware of. The hole in the footpath (see photos) is directly where the meat gets off-loaded daily. The truck drivers slosh through this puddle EVERYTIME raw meat carcasses are delivered.
The staff also throw raw offal to the seagulls on a daily basis. They hang around all day waiting for titbits, so seagull poo all around the entrance as well, not to mention the dirty seagulls constantly hanging around.

Had a great flat white here with my colleague Sterling Arnet, great spot for a team meeting.

If you love cured meats this place is hard to beat. The only problem is that it is so moreish it doesn't last long. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a large range of products but our favourites are the beersticks.

What a service they provide. I was able to order online (from Northland) and have a tasty birthday treat parcel delivered to my sister in law on the Shore. From shop to door!! Easy to use service. My brother and SIL loved it all!! Try it for yourself!!

Ordered online for click n collect. Note over Level 3 they are not open Monday & Tuesday. My favorite of everything we ordered was the Blackforest Ham. It’s my go to snack with some cheese. The sandwiches (Leberkässemmel) available on Thursdays is soo good. Love that thick cut of leberkäse & delish mustard. Do pay them a visit won’t regret it

There is a factory shop for the public to buy from and is open in level 3. The meat is processed fresh each day. The cost is far cheaper than the supermarket. I totally recommend JR Wholesale Meats

Fair Go had their mince sent to a lab, and results revealed an extra, unwanted ingredient in some of the mince. Both Meat World Onehunga’s standard and prime packs tested positive for sulphites and sulphur dioxide.

It’s illegal to add the two food additives to raw ground beef under the Food Act. They can cause allergy-like reactions for some people, including asthma sufferers.

Meat World’s store manager told Fair Go they didn’t know how sulphites had got into their products and suggested the error was made by their meat supplier. The supplier has since ruled out any possibility of sulphites being used or stored onsite.

Auckland Council and MPI are now investigating Meat World.

This place is fantastic you will never pay retail again and great service there staff can't do enough for you

I've been going there for years
When the lamb chops used to be $10 for a tray it's $20 now so massive jump considering mangere is still between $12-$15.
Might be cos it's south Auckland everything's cheaper.
In terms of customer service I've had good days with them and sometimes not so welcoming it might be just their moods but it should always be one way whatever the cost as it's their shop and customers see this. I also think they are misunderstood at times

Go here every time we do a work BBQ and spend $100-$200. Had a bag of sausages brand new 4 weeks past it's best before date. Apparently it's standard practice to do this and they will last months and months because they are sealed. Was not interested in a refund because we used a few of them. Very disappointing considering we are a regular customer.

I have found that the prices were really good and have had good service and from there in the past but was not impressed this time around. I purchased a roll of pork on 5th Feb 2017 and was in the stages of preparing it for cooking on 6th of Feb 2017 only to discover that the use by date was 2nd Feb 2017. So I phoned the shop to say that I wanted to return it and swap it for another one. The female I spoke to tried to convince me that it was fine to eat and I said no way as my daughter was pregnant and that I didn’t want to take any chances. After much debate I said I was coming down to swap it.
While I was choosing a replacement one I noticed that there were 3 other pork rolls that were out dated
The male at the counter also tried to convince me that the pork was fine to eat to which I again said no and he was very reluctant to go ahead with the exchange until I pointed out to him that I had noticed 3 other pork rolls that were also out dated and his excuse was that sometimes they don’t look properly and that he will remove the out dated ones to which I said I believe they were selling them knowingly and then his whole demeanour changed to being very obliging…funny that…
It has been a wee while since I have shopped there as I live in Christchurch and fly up to Auckland regularly to visit my children.
I believe the shop may be under new Management as I have been served by very friendly and obliging Indian people in the past but this time I had to deal with not so friendly and not so obliging Asian people
Also the shop name is listed as Meat World and not NZ Wholesale Meats Onehunga
Won’t be going back…
