Visiting this place was fun. I went there early in the morning and visited the museum which was well organised. Nice place. Recommended.

Once a freemasons temple (erected in 1914 in British colonial era), this historical place has a lot to offer plus a unique history. Serving as an office for Sindh wildlife department since 1990s (after freemasonry got banned by govt in 1972), it has a dedicated wildlife reference library, an office building, accounts and audit branch and a dedicated wildlife museum (found in 2001) on the ground floor for wildlife enthusiasts containing stuffed wildlife fauna of Sindh alongwith an art gallery pertaining to same

Overall must visit, support and appreciate the efforts of our local wildlife conservationists.

The place is free to visit (timings and telephone no provided on google) excluding weekends and National/Provincial holidays. Parking facility is inside.

PA to Conservator Wildlife Mr. Adil Ali Khan is a man to meet (most honest, humble and dedicated. God bless him)

Overall highly recommended as you can see both freemasons lodge and a wildlife museum on a single visit at the same time 👍😍

A historical marvel but needs proper upkeep. The history behind it is drowned in conspiracy. Visit my channel for complete video.

"The Lodge" or "Free Mesons lodge" is an antique masterpiece. The design of the building is so attractive, as some similar buildings of 19th century do.
It's very common to read, one cannot enter the premisses. I found it wrong, after having a visit in there. It's open to general public. You can take selfies as well. Photography is allowed. But there are some families residing in there. Yes, families of Watchmen and some labor staff are living there.
Central stair case grabs your attention. Emblem of Free Mesons is embossed on it's head. And on both sides of stairs, you can find some old time tablets, with names and memories.
Behind the staircase, you can see a small museum hall. It's "Sindh Wild Life Museum". Other than that, you can find offices of Sindh Wild Life Organisation, as the building now belongs the the organisation.
It's a very small place to visit. It will hardly take one hour to see the whole place. Spare a time slot, and pay visit there. Hope you will enjoy.
No Entry Fees or Parking Charges there.
Currently Sindh Wildlife Department has an office in this building. State of building and whole compound is not very encouraging. There's a reference library inside the main building where you can find books concerning flora and fauna of Sindh.

Just stunning, especially the solid wooden staircase that goes up right from the middle of the entrance then divides into left and right.

Right now, it is run by Sindh Wildlife Conservation Department.

You must visit!
