A Hidden Jem

During my visit there was only one floor with exhibitions worth visiting. It means around ten pieces of contemporary art. The museum is quite far from the city center.

מוזיאון קטן, בעת הביקור שלנו היה ריק. גישה קשה לנכים ומתקשה בתנועה, לשמחתנו מצאנו חניה. בפנים 2 מוזיאונים ארכאיים אחד לאמנות "רוסית" ומבוסס על אוסף מעניין של ציורים, ואחר אוסף של חפצים מהמזרח הרחוק. באנו בשביל התערוכות המתחלפות שהיו אצורות בתשומת לב וטוב טעם, מעניינות ועם מוצגים יחודיים.

Как традиционный музей - без современных новшеств. Интересна восточная коллекция Ехиэля Наари.
Приятно, что в субботу мы были чуть ли не единственные - можно спокойно всё рассмотреть.

אחת מפנינות העיר. המקום הנפלא ביותר לשבת בבוקר. כל מה שחסר זה עגלה לקפה, אפשרות להיכנס ולעלות לתצפית בשבת. חוץ מזה הנאה צרופה

Great museum and great exhibition "Tomorrow". Very recommend to visit and enjoy the art.

מקום מדהים אבל פתוח

The nice exhibition and shouldn't be compared with others overseas (like VAN GOGH) because then you may be disappointed. Good and kind welcome from the staff. The visit to all the halls takes about 3 hours. In every hall you get headphones (recommend to clean them before use!) but it is also possible without, to hear what's going on, just keep in mind that people bring children who are less interested in the exhibition and they start making noises and running around like playground (it's a shame that there is no consideration and the museum has its hands tied on the issue). Those suffering from certain illnesses keep informed, I didn't find anything written and the staff doesn't really warn. The museum has 3 floors of the exhibition, there is an elevator -disabled friendly- and a staff member who can explain a bit about what you are going to see. Try to buy tickets with discounts from all kinds of clubs, including discounts at credit card companies. We paid NIS 49 a ticket through Isracard. Keep in mind: it's a bit cold due to the air conditioning in one of the halls were the exhibition takes about an hour and a half, so come prepared with clothing. Second, there is an additional NIS 10 for a VR device which is a different experience (I wasn't so impressed). There are full of coffee shops and food around, including a coffee shop on the roof of the museum. Enjoy !

The current exhibition "Tomorrow" is breathtaking. It's a great way to get familiar with the classic works of art by the classic artists of the last 2 centuries.

You have 2 main huge halls with video art, one is 45 minutes long and the other is 20 or 30. You should plane your visit so you have enough time for both.

In addition you have an NTF room which is nice and the best part (for me) was the VR room with 3 different experience, each is between 10 and 15 min long.

During the week it's not crowded so if you have time, it's better than the weekend.

It's a wonderful exhibit. Very original and engaging. I recommend you take your time to visit it. We spent 3 hours there and we could have stayed longer.

Небольшой музей. На момент нашего посещения были открыты две экспозиции - живопись русских эмигрантов не сильно впечатлила. Больше понравилась дальневосточная коллекция - шкафы инкрустированные перламутром, резьба по кости , фарфор, вышивка. Билет стоил 20 шекелей, наличными. Сам билет дает возможность в течении недели посетить еще несколько музеев в Рамат - ган.

מזיאון קטן חצי שעה ביקור בערך ללא סיור. עניני לא יקר ושמור. סגנון מזרח הרחוק,סין,ורוסיה בעיקר תקופות עתיקות. בימי שבת יש 2 סיורים רוסית ועברית מתחיל מי 10:30 עד 12:30 כדי לשאול לפני במקום לגבי הזמנים של הסיורים..

Lovely museum

כמו לבן אדם לאוסף יש או אין מזל. לאוסף צייטלין אין מזל בכלל. האוסף  נמצא כמעט 40 שנה במחסנים  וחלקו   נגנב עוד בשנות 70. בהיסטוריה של האוסף לא מצאתי פעם אחד שהוא הוצג באופן מלא לקהל רחב.
פרשת טיפולה של עיריית רמת גן באוסף צייטלין – התלוי שנות-דור באכסניה קרתנית, כמוה כלעג לוונטיני למושג 'תרבות', כהונאת משפחת התורמים וכעושק הציבור". כך סיכם באפריל 1984 עיתונאי מעריב אהרון דולב את קורות האוסף המרשים, שתרמה .משפחת הנדבנים היהודית-רוסית לעיר
המסורת יחסי עירייה לאוסף ברורה. ולא מיקרי שמכרו את מונה ליזה של רמת-גן בלי שום היסוס. זה תקדים בצורה יוצאת דופן שבהחלט מעודד המשך. ואני לא מאמינה לאף מילה של העירייה על כוונות טובות שלה.
כל השיטה להרוויח כסף בצורה הזאת מזכירה שיטת בולשביקים, שמכרו דברי אמנות מהרמיטאג' כדי לממן כל מיני פרויקטים שלהם.מריה צייטלין היתה אישה נאיביים שתרמו רכושם למדינת ישראל ולדורות הבאים, והתברר שתרמה לעירית רמת-גן. כנראה פקידים זמניים של העירייה עד עכשיו חושבים שצייטלינים הם פראיירים שלהם
עכשיו כשמדברים על המקום חדש לאוסף הזה אני רואה עתיד שחור עוד יותר.  בבניין חדש ישימו כמה תמונות מאוסף בפינה מרוחקת, אחר כך שוב יפנו תמונות האלה למחסן לטובת איזה שתערוכה לאמנות עכשווית. מהמחסן בשקט ימכרו  תמונות של האוסף כדי לממן עוד פרויקטים של עיריית רמת-גן.זה בדיוק הזמן להיפרד סופית מהאוסף שהתפוגג בשקט בארץ במשך 60 שנה.
עוד דבר שמפריע לי מאוד, שכל הזמן מדגישים שזה אמנות הרוסית. לאמנות אין לאום.

מרגישה שזה הבית השני שלי. מגיעה לספריה לפחות פעמיים בשבוע. זהבה הספרנית שנמצאת שם לרוב, היא מקסימה ואדיבה והמלצותיה על ספרים משובחות. רק חבל שהספרייה צפופה, מיושנת ומוזנחת.

הספרניות הכי מדהימות בארץ, נעמי ממש קוראת מחשבות בכל הנוגע להצעות הספרים לאנשים, תודה 🤗

ספרייה גדולה ועשירה. נחמדה מאוד

הבפריה קטנה ובמבנה של מקלט. לדעתי אפשר להשקיע במבנה חדש וגדול. יש קהל קוראים גדול מאוד ברמת חן.

Nice cozy local library. Not so big. The books can be kept in a better condition. The place hosts kid activities.
