Tried the chicken Katsu and chashu pork baos and really enjoyed them both. The Katsu chicken was superrr crispy and the chashu was super juicy. Both were pretty big and they both had a great blend of flavors.

We also tried the T22 ramen. Broth tasted good but the noodles were not al dente enough for me. Portion was pretty big though.

Service was friendly.

Prices were reasonable.

Would return to eat more baos.

Dined in. Literally so delicious and vegan! Got the summer ramen (no broth) regular bowl with chili tofu (extra). Trust me vegans! The regular is so amazing. Imagine the bigger size! I can’t imagine how delicious this dish would be on a hot, summer day. Also, wonderful staff.

We stopped here for a quick drink and bite and we were not disappointed. We were served quickly by Alisha. Super friendly and relaxed place, will definitely stop here when we have more time!

Found this place by fluke. On holiday from Australia. Food was super tasty, music was an eclectic mix even had songs from REO Speedwagon, which suited us. The service by Ryan was like observing a Master demonstrating his craft. Friendly, Professional . Highly recommend this place. We tried the seafood ramen and pork ramen (which was less spicy but very tasty ). Congrats Ryan.

Went on a Monday evening, wasn't too busy. Got served very quickly, Service was decent. I think I had really high expectations so I thought it tasted good, I would go again. But I think I expected it to taste better somehow. I ordered the tonkotsu pork ramen. Ate it all! The interior decorations were okay, overall atmosphere was alright. It was clean.

It is okay Ramen if you consider it’s in middle of London, but if you expect something really nice authentic Japanese ramen… idk
But the sides were quite nice, Karaage and Crispy Gyoza

The food was amazing! The people are very welcoming and friendly here. Caitleen served us and she was very polite and cheerful! Fantastic customer service and food overall! Will definitely come back for more 😁

If you want a decent bowl of ramen that both tastes pretty accurate and the portions are quite large, then this is the place for you.

The only thing that was a down was the inability to order your noodles how you prefer (soft to hard/tough) which is a staple for ramen in Japan and places that want to make an authentic experience, the tonkotsu broth was bang on, excellent taste, very smooth and creamy, toppings was generous but not quite as generous as the noodle portion you get, a lot of noodles, more than any other place I've been to on central London.

They also have half bowls of ramen, for if you'd like a mini ramen with loads of sides or just something light to drink some nice cocktails with.

Food tasted amazing. Got the Korean bbq wings and the duck boa buns. Alisha my server was lovely. Also really like the music and atmosphere.

Yup this place is dope! Great food and prompt service. They know their audience! Bao Buns and Ramen are off the charts good.

Although Kanada-Ya is my go-to, I had been curious about ippudo for a while and decided to go out of convenience. As we had big bags on us, we decided to go to here as Kanada-Ya is a very small restaurant and can be a bit crammed when it is busy.
Unfortunately, it did not compare to Kanada-Ya. The broth at ippudo wasn’t bad per se, but lacked the richness and umami flavour of Kanada-Ya’s broth which definitely has the depth of something that has been simmered for 18 hours. It tasted fine, but it wasn’t mouth-watering. I wasn’t left craving more after I finished.
Also, I was greatly disappointed by the portions. Two tiny bits of pork in the bowl and a massive heap of noodles. It didn’t feel very well-balanced. The slices of pork are not massive at Kanada-Ya either, but you at least get about 4/5 slices and can eat the pork periodically instead of having to eat one piece at the start and the other at the end of the meal. I was sad to see that there weren’t more pieces of pork hiding under the surface. I forgot to ask for ‘normal’ rather than the standard ‘firm’ noodles, but they were still on the harder side of firm and not enjoyable for me to eat.

The dining experience at Bone Daddies was highly satisfactory. Our server, Amar, provided attentive service with a pleasant demeanor. The chicken and duck buns exhibited a delightful combination of textures, and the Ramen with pulled chicken was exceptionally enjoyable. The establishment maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including well-kept restrooms. Additionally, extras were provided on the table to enhance the dining experience. Overall, a commendable establishment for those seeking quality cuisine and service.

I was hoping for more on their ramen but broth was weak and noodles too thin
I order the spicy one and once I mix the spices the flavour of the broth was completely gone

Had a ramen there soup was quite room temperature
Quite sad with one unfriendly staff but manager managed the store and customers really well he was so nice

Irasshaimase! My favourite Japanese restaurant in London. It mimics the Ippudo restaurants in Japan so well. The food is great, the staff is nice and attentive. The ramen is just amazing! I'm never disappointed by it. Full of flavour. And the egg is always boiled perfectly, not like other places where the egg is too hard boiled. Even though this is a chain restaurant, this is as authentic of a Japanese restaurant as you can get.

Edit: we went back a second time during the same trip to London. Just as good the second time.

Excellent all around! What a nice find in Soho. Thinking this was a small spot quickly named after the popular tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, we soon learned this was a very respectable UK-based homage to the globally-adored art of ramen. With a good chunk of shops around the UK, and +/- a dozen around London, the Tonkotsu operation actually makes their own noodles with a machine straight from Japan - you can watch them make these noodles at their Tonkotsu East location over in Haggerston. They then send them all around to each of their restaurants. However, the Soho one was their very first storefront.

Onto the food - tried to run the gamut here. The Tokyo ramen (chicken broth with pork belly) was some of the best broth we’ve ever had! Of course the noodles were great too. All around good ramen.

My favorite ramen dish anywhere is a classic tonkotsu, and I feel these folks do a justice to the dish that is their namesake - I got it on a second visit here. I thought the broth was perfectly light and creamy. There are many variations of this classic around the world, but the way they do it here really extra hit the spot for me.

The chicken & courgette (zucchini) katsu curry was above average - really excellent curry.

Lastly, you can’t go wrong with the classic pork ginger & garlic gyroza.

Service was great and atmosphere was all around nice. We sat upstairs which has a nice view of the surrounding street and buildings. Would be happy to return.

This isn't good Ramen, the broth is far too light, the pork belly is meant to be braised... Instead it's just warmed up, and the fat hasn't been rendered, I was really excited for a great bowl of Ramen and I thought in Soho with all this choice for this restaurant to be here it must be up to muster bot no, it was such a disappointment coming here - food arrived quickly after ordering, and it's not expensive, I gave my feedback to the server and to her credit she took onboard what I said and offered to replace the ramen, I declined, and she insisted I have something else so I didn't leave hungry, and was offered anything I wanted off the menu very insistently - so I asked for a small portion of Chicken Kar-Age and that service can't go un-appreciated, and has saved this from being a worse review score, I'll definitely give this restaurant another chance in future but it's a far cry from the true ramen dishes that it imitates for now

Great atmosphere, great food, great everything. The ramen is so good, warming and delicious, gyoza are crispy and very tasty. Sake very tasty and lots of choices. The service was great very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if looking for some good ramen at a good price.

Wow!! First time trying the food here after hearing amazing things and I was not disappointed!!! We ordered the akamaru modern ramen which was amazing with a really rich and dense flavor, and amazing toppings, and we had the goma g flavored cucumber which was INSANE and the age-tako yaki which honestly stole the show, the sauce on those appetizers was absolutely incredible!
I will defo be going back here, was not disappointed at all and thought it was really fairly priced for the quality of the food we had! Plus the service was great and we only had to wait for a table for 5-10mins on a Friday night which i was very impressed by

Always the signature ramen and gyoza to order!! Fatty pork belly that melted in your mouth, I love it! Well kept with their standards in all the branches I've been to.

A really delightful ramen restaurant. The food and drinks are balanced perfectly and it makes a very satisfying meal. It can get quite busy so consider booking or calling in before hand to check table availability if you want to sit inside.

I had the chicken karaage ramen which was amazingly delicious however the texture does get a little funny when the chicken sits in the broth too long (obviously). Their cocktails are really delicious so if it’s in your budget I do recommend getting one!

Schöner kleiner Laden mit Ramen im Angebot. Die Gyoza zur Vorspeise mit Schwein und Ingwer waren excellent, die Hühnerbrühe vom Hühnerchillie Ramen war etwas wässrig, dafür die Schweinebrühe vom Tonkotsurahmen schön cremig fettig. Service freundlich.

Really good place to get some good ramen. Happened upon them, and decided to give them a go. Would def come back. Got sat really quick, food came out fast and piping hot. Great service all around

Good value ramen. Very welcoming service. The Bao buns were nice too. Very busy but the turnaround is quick. This was the second time we visited with no reservation and were seated within 15 mins.

I had an amazing Kakugiri ramen for lunch and my friend had the Geki kara extra hot and we shared the Gyoza as a starter. We both very much enjoyed our ramens and we definitely recommend the place. The staff were friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. I intend to come back when I’m craving ramen again.

In this branch, the food and the mocktail are prepped with a special touch. The staff will even ask how firm you want the noodles for the ramen. The ramen is heavenly!

A decent Japanese ramen chain restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had the specialty “pork ramen”, fried chicken miso ramen and kimchi seafood ramen as well as tofu bao buns. The ramen noodles and soups were decent but the buns were a bit disappointing because the sauce and ingredients were plain. The beer and sake were nice.

I think this is one of the best ramen you can get in London, and it was the best Karaage I’ve tasted! Very juicy and tender, and well seasoned. I would have liked Kewpie mayo with it but the sauce was great.

The classic chashu pork tonkotsu was so warming and rich, and great for a winters night. The pork was very tender and a bit fatty, super delicious and the noodles were very thin, and nicely cooked.

I would possibly would have preferred the spicy one or the special of the evening only because there were no pickles or sourness to cut through the richness of the tonkotsu. Another thing to note is it’s a bit pricey! (£13-20 for a ramen) but for the karaage alone it was worth the experience. The service and atmosphere were nice too.

Long queues but definitely worth the wait. The ramen broth was delicious, especially so on a cold winter’s night. Service was a little slow though. That’s the only complaint. But the food quality, service level and cosy eating environment more than makes up for it.

First time trying ramen. It was extremely good and they had a vast range of delicious cocktails. I also tried the mochi ice cream and it was quite interesting. I'll definitely go to one of the Shoryu Ramen restaurants again!
