I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth wasn’t overly salty but was quite rich in fat, which gave it a bold flavor. The toppings blended well with the noodles and base, creating a harmonious dish overall.

At €18, it was a bit pricey, but the portion size was generous. However, the waiting time was quite long, likely because I came during dinner rush hour. I barely managed to find a small spot for one person tucked in a corner.

Most of the toppings were deep-fried, which, combined with the rich broth, made the dish feel a bit unbalanced—lacking the freshness of vegetables. By the time I’d eaten about three-quarters of it, I didn’t feel full, but I’d had enough of the richness.

That said, I still enjoyed the overall flavor.

I ordered Tantanmen. was expecting ground meat, but I got chicken instead. At first I was a bit off, but the chicken was tender, so that's fine.

My friend ordered shio ramen. the broth tasted clear, salty and a bit like fish.
I personally prefer the rich & creamy tantanmen.
We were seated at the heated place outside, it was perfect. Best karaage curry I’ve ever had, would recommend 10/10.
Incredibly tasty. Don't feel like trying out other ramen places in the city 😁

Nice ramen. Personally liked Tonkotsu ramen more than Shoyu Ramen, but both of them are worth a try.

Nice small little authentic Japanese place with good options for Ramen.

I had Gyozas and the special Tonkotsu Ramen. Food was great, definitely recommended.

The only thing that wasn’t as great was that there’s a bit of a cold wind from the backdoor that opens very often (that’s just if you sit further back).

I ordered a traditional ramen and was very satisfied. It was amazingly delicious, also a big portion I couldn’t finish all of it. The mochis as dessert are also quite tasty. The staff is very polite, even tho had to wait for 5-10 minutes before getting a seat. The prices are okay, considering the high quality of ramen! I will definitely return to try other types of ramen. 5/5

Highly rated little Tokyo Dusseldorf did not fail to impress! Easy to find and the staff speak perfect English! Food selection was great with full English translation. Or you can use the colorful pictorial menu. The must try Ramen noodle with pork & egg was served fast & proper temperature. The size of the charsui was on the smaller side. One might supplemented with more protein options. Will definitely recommend to any Ramen noodle fan!
Soup are salty,Strong smell of chicken meat, noddles are difficult to chew. Moral of the story, stick with the European food if you are in Europe.
I tried the teriyaki chicken with rice. Its sauce was really good, but personally I didn’t like the way chicken was cooked with its skin.
The portion was really small and you should think about ordering side dishes as well.
We had to wait about 10 minutes to get in.
Generally, the service and food aren’t in a low quality, however I don’t think it deserves such a high rating.
Came in for late lunch on a rainy day. I guess the waiter was having a bad day. He was about to clean the table next to me when I asked to order, he showed his hand gesturing to wait. Then he came with unhappy face which made think he had some problem with me or something about his I don’t. After ordering I asked is there any problem taking orders then he came closer to me asking if I have problem then he dropped his phone on me. Something I wasn’t expecting in a Japanese restaurant where staffs are extremely kind and respectful. Maybe I was in a wrong place and wrong time.
Ordered spicy miso with boiled eggs. Nothing special very similar to what I had back home in the US.

I would give 3 start but the service didn’t meet my expectation.
Worth to drive 112km from home to enjoy these authentic Japanese Ramen.
I love my Tantan Ramen, the broth was very tasty, mild spicy is perfect for my tongue and juicy meat, my very much type of comfort food.
My husband loves his ramen too and already planning to go again when we're in Düsseldorf.

Oh their staffs are kind, helpful and informative.
Atmosphere and location is great too.

We went this place based on
a Japanese guy's suggestion we met on the street.
With some mixed of Japanese, English and Deutsch he mentioned this Ramen Shop.
And yep it is a solid good recommendation.

Authentic Japanese dining experience directly on Immermannstraße (インマーマン通り), which is considered Japantown in Düsseldorf. Rich, flavorful broths and perfectly cooked noodles. Efficient service! The cozy ambiance and attentive staff enhance the meal. A top spot for ramen lovers in Düsseldorf!

Food 5 | Service 5 | Atmosphere 5

Food | This is an authentic Japanese ramen shop in Düsseldorf! The shoyu ramen I ordered is absolutely delicious! The gyoza are nicely done the Japanese way!

Service | The waiter is attentive and friendly. Though he mistook my order of sparkling to still water, probably just language barrier, not a big deal

Atmosphere | I sat at the bar and looked at the kitchen, it’s rather nice!

To be honest I had better experiences at Takumi in Antwerp and Milan. The one in Dusseldorf has a smaller menu and it’s more of an eat and go place so you don’t really have time to relax.
The ramen was ok and the gyoza was not bad.

I revisited this place after a year, and unfortunately, the taste of their shoyu ramen has changed. Yesterday when I dined here, it tasted strange, the broth lacked the familiar shoyu ramen flavor I remembered from Takezo. It was quite bland. However, the rice bowl and karaage still tasted the same.

Absolutely loved it. Mainly serving a variety of soups. Over 90% of the manu is pork based. I went for the vegan spicy noodle soup, which was so nice I ordered a supplement of the small chicken soup with plain rice.
The service was fast and friendly.
The place is really popular, so there are always queues at the entrance, it is definitely worth the wait.

Finally, an authentic ramen place. Hands down!! especially compare to vietnamese copy-cat ramen houses in Germany. Worth waiting in line.

9/10 sehr empfehlenswert.

One of the best Ramen in Düsseldorf.
Quantity and quality are wait-worthy.
No reservation and no parking, only queue. Plan your time accordingly.
Walkable from Düsseldorf Main station.
This is my current benchmark of a delicious Japanese Ramen. Tried a few other ramen places but not up to this for sure.

We went in yesterday around 5pm when all the ramen shops were getting busy, and got a table. We got agedashi tofu, cucumber kimchi, tsukemen, shoyu ramen, gyoza, and a cabbage rice with mayo and corn and it was all super tasty and reminded us of food we ate in Okinawa.

Akzeptabel.

The food is amazing and the portions are great. The staff was polite and super nice, making you feel welcome there. There are not many tables indoors so be ready and there is a big change that you will have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it. The doors are automatic so be careful not to push them just press the button or push them lightly at first. All in all a wonderful restaurant to enjoy ramen 🍜.

The ramen I had was flavourful, tasty and moderate with the spice level. The broth itself was amazing. The atmosphere was okay, but it was extremely packed the day I went there. The servers are very friendly people also. A good place to have Japanese food.

Definitely worth a visit, the ramen is delicious, super well seasoned and fresh. The chicken ramen is truly delicious. The place is small, and there is usually a queue, but this shows that the place is good too... The service is super friendly too.

Sehr leckeres Essen.

Delicious vegetarian ramen, very kind service and nice view and athmosphere.

Well, pilgrim, let me tell you 'bout Takezo Japanese Resto – it's a culinary showdown worth rememberin'. The ramen, oh boy, it's like a symphony of flavors – different kinds waltzing on your palate, each one a gunslinger in its own right. And that chicken karage, it's a taste bud revelation, a flavor duel you never saw comin'.

The joint, cozy as a well-worn saddle, wraps you up in its warmth. I reckon it's like being in a snug cabin while the rain taps its own melody on the roof. The ambiance, partner, it's the kind that makes you linger, savorin' each bite like it's the last round in a shoot-out.

Now, the place ain't just about the grub; it's an experience. The rain outside? It's nature's way of joinin' the feast. Every dollar spent here is like bettin' on a winning hand – downright worth it. So, next time you're hankerin' for a taste adventure, mosey on down to Takezo – where the ramen's bold, the karage's a legend, and the ambiance is like a scene outta a classic Western, rain and all.

Went on a Saturday night, there were a few people in but the place wasn't busy, easy to get a table. The decor is fun, the cocktails were fantastic but the service could have been better. Lots of staff on, all enjoying themselves so that's a good atmosphere but no-one was paying attention to the customers. It took a long time for the first drinks to come, and when new friends arrived at our table no-one noticed so we had to go up and ask for the drinks ourselves. Expect a bit better service for the price.

Tasty and fresh food. Well prepared. Good value for money. Has a wide selection in different types of Ramen. Gyoza and fried chicken were also great. Friendly Japanese staff. Speak both English and German. Personal space is limited. You could be sitting back to back when outside. But in a way that also has its charm. Would recommend visiting. At walking distance from station.

We tried the sky bar for the first time and it was an OKAY experience.

Pros:
Nice views
Comfortable chairs
Good quality drinks

Cons:
- The drinks were rather expensive
- The music was way too loud for the size of the bar
- The staff asked us like 5 times if we needed anything else which looked like they were pushing us to order another drink

We really like this place but cocktails are quite expensive for the amount you're getting. Like tooo big ice cubes for this glass but 12,50€.

The bar has a really nice interior and vibe. Music and cocktails are good. The 2nd time I was there, we also ordered some food. Their tantanmen ramen was good. My friend had vegetarian sushi which was not so good. Prices for food are a little higher than the other Takumi‘s around but you are paying for the view and vibe. Would definitely recommend this place.

11th floor with a good view on the city.
I liked the cocktails list, they are all quite originals and really not what you will find in most bars. Staff was extremely friendly, I would definitely go back there again!
Also take a moment to look at the hall of the me and all hotels, great decoration.
