Great ramen place!
You order and pay at the counter by the entrance. Server was great. Regular and infused water dispensers are by the bar, you can refill yourself free of charge. Our food was ready pretty quickly and was delicious. There is a table with mints by the exit, don’t miss out because they were great.

I loved the food but the service was amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and kind, I even got complimented by two servers about my Kirby bag which made me very happy. I loved the anime merchandise everywhere as well, it made me feel like I was at home. Definitely coming back!
Had the spicy tenkatsu. It was good. Noodles are what I would consider like a whole wheat pasta and a bit heartier than a traditional ramen noodle. Heat was not overwhelming and complimented the broth. Chashu was tender and yummy. From a sustainability aspect, I was not impressed. So much throw away plastic and I ate in. A personal thing I know but the amount of plastic this one business creates in waste really turns me off. Cup, lid, straw, spoon, bowl, wrapping of the utencils. So much plastic.
The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and fast. The place was clean and they have very good cups and bowls which seems weird to say but gonna add it in anyway! Lol. This location isn't large so it wouldn't be great for a huge group but for a few people it is perfect!
The vibes here are awesome! Ramen is delish. Big thanks to Avery for looking out today. I have a gluten intolerance and he went out of his way to double check my bowl of ramen when it was made with gluten containing ingredients. It means a lot and shows how spectacular the service is here. Thanks Avery!
There are plenty of options on the menu to choose. I opted to try a poke bowl. I tried one with multiple types of protein. Overall, the flavor was pretty good. The sushi looked good too, so I will have to try that another time.
Highly recommend this ramen shop for some good authentic ramen. I went in not knowing what I wanted but described the flavors I liked and they helped me decide on what to get. Pictured is the spicy miso. Great portions and customer service. Definitely recommend this spot at storehouse or to go. They give you a little packet with chop sticks and soup spoon so if you are wondering how you’re supposed to eat it outside on the patio… very easy going.
If you enjoy ramen, you will enjoy this place. Delicious ramen. Nice service. Fun anime inspired atmosphere. (There was anime on at the bar.) Ordering was easy. Staff was really nice. They had a few craft beers in tap and a few classic Asian beers like Sapporo. I got the Kimchi Ramen. Can't wait to try the other ramen they have to offer.
We are just happy that there is a good ramen place in Huntsville. Their other location... well, we won't go back to it for many reasons.
I do have to say that after many visits from this place, we finally tried their karaage and were pleasantly surprised, it was served piping hot so be careful. It's a must order as an appetizer for every future visit. Shoyu ramen is the preference because their tonkotsu is a slight miss compared to other cities thar we enjoy it. Still good because I'll order it to mix things up a bit. Live vicariously. Highly recommend this place!

10/10!! There are so many options on the menu! The Pink Lady Roll was light in flavor and honestly really cute. The Sparkling Sake is really good too! The staff was lovely. Would definitely come back!
Aki is by far the best Japanese restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama! The staff are amazing, the food is beyond delicious and comforting and the restaurant is welcoming, neat and clean! Today was our second time there and we are definitely going to be eating here more often!
Super glad we found a good ramen place here in town! It’s absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to go back! Anything with the katsu chicken is a must. I got the kimchi ramen and that was delicious, and my husband got the spicy miso ramen. He loved it! He isn’t a huge spicy person, but it was a perfect balance of spice and flavor. We will definitely be back for more!!
I ordered delivery. I was hungry so I ordered chicken, shrimp and steak fried rice. The only semi good thing was the steak. Shrimp tasted funny and so did the chicken. I couldn’t stomach it. I also ordered the strawberry smoothie and that was good! I’m just mad I wasted 29.06 on the main course. Now I have to find something good to eat instead.
I’ve been to the one here and at Stovehouse and have never had a bad meal. Seriously delicious food, highly recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Only downside was that there were flies buzzing around and landing in the food because the door next to the bar area was open.
PHENOMENAL food!! I got the build your Poke Bowl with three proteins and it was excellent. Everything our group had looked good and nobody had any complaints. The service could’ve been a little faster and half of the food came out before the rest but I’ll give them benefit of the doubt this time around.
The place was awesome. Had the aki buns and dumplings for app as well as miso soup and salad. Their ginger dressing was delicious. Their miso soup had little chunks of tofu in it as well as seaweed. It was great. We got beef ramen and tongotsu ramen. Once you have this type of ramen it will change you. It's so good
We been here many times with my husband. Very clean and cozy. Food is the best in Alabama. Service is a amazing, Andrew did a good job. Will definitely coming back!
First time here. Evelina provided great customer service. Kind and Very attentive. I ordered off their lunch specials menu. The steak teriyaki with the fried rice was delicious as well as the ginger salad and vegetable medley with broccoli. I also ordered the egg roll. It was ok but sauce was great. Bathroom was good. Recommend and will return.
I got a ramen bowl and it was great! The attention to detail and the packaging made the meal super easy to prepare and heat up when I got home. The ingredients were on their own little bowl shelf separated from the broth below. 10/10 for taste and ingredient quality for sure. 😇

We are Sushi lovers!!! We went to eat on Saturday because this restaurant popped out on What’s Happening in Huntsville Facebook page. First impression of the place it looks like a diner or a fast food. When you come in the first thing you see is a pile of to go plates. The decoration and atmosphere it not Japanese at all. The lay out is awful, we were seated in the only table in the middle of all boosters. Service was terrible, the girl passed by us many times and didn’t asked if we were ready to order, she never came to ask if everything was ok or to ask if we wanted refills. Let’s talked about food! The Clear mushroom soup was delicious, so flavorful! Spring rolls spot on. The Egg rolls had good flavor but over fried. The “Spicy Maki Combo” was nothing spicy, the only spicy thing on the plate was the wasabi. In this plate the Salmon was our least favorite, no flavor, in the other hand the Tuna roll and Yellowtail roll were delicious. The Rainbow Roll is a rock star! Everything was excellent in this last plate. The Crazy Salmon roll was very flavorful. I didn’t get to taste the Tokyo Chicken Ramen but he loved it, the only thing left was some broth.
We finally decided to try Kamado Ramen and it was one of the best decisions every made. The service was good and fast. We’ve ordered Shoyu Ramen, the bowl was amazing! It looked so pretty, the broth was delicious well everything was delicious! My mother in law is a picky eater and she tried it and like it. Our daughter ordered the Kimchi without the pork belly and she loved it. We tried too and it was delicious. The to go bowl and cup are reusable and so cute. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended it.
