Very polite staff and good food, extraordinary atmosphere! I already came here 2 years ago and this place always stayed in my mind.. I love their dessert, I was dreaming of it all this time! Totally recommend 10/10! Besides that, the food was as good as I remember it, with incredible mixtures.

Very good food and interesting combinations I would never expect of! But don’t be scared, as everything that sounds weird is delicious. We had more dishes but one of my personal favorites were SexyTuna and CrispyDuck, totally recommend 10/10! The most important thing you should know is that you have to make a reservation in order to eat but that’s alright, we even arrived earlier than our appointment and they welcomed us warmly.

Our recent visit to Robata, a Japanese restaurant, was a delightful experience. The quality of the fish was excellent, and the solomillo skewer was exceptionally tender and flavorful. The restaurant's modern and fancy ambiance provides a refreshing change from traditional settings. The servers were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

The restaurant was decent, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5.

I would recommend sitting inside rather than on the terrace. Indoors, you can truly soak in the atmosphere, admire the paintings, and enjoy the music. The terrace is quite basic in comparison.

The food was average; honestly, I was expecting something more exceptional. The sushi rolls and dumplings were standard fare. However, the California roll stood out with its tender crab meat. The tempura rock & roll was also quite decent.

As for desserts, I opted for the carrot cake. It had a delicate cream, but there was too much raisin for my liking. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 4.

In terms of service, the waiter who greeted us was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. However, the second waiter who served us seemed forgetful, rushed, and inattentive towards me. Hence, the service leaves something to be desired.

Unbelievable experience. We both did the tasting menu! From the miso soup to the strawberries and ice cream, it was over the top good. High quality fish with gorgeous presentations. The creativity of the flavor was next level. Each meal was described to us and they guided how the chef would like us to try it. Great experience. Best sushi I've had. Do not miss this place.

Robata, nestled in the heart of Barcelona, offers an exquisite Japanese dining experience. With its chic ambiance, this gem serves simple yet impeccably high-quality sushi, grilled delights, and more. A must-visit for discerning foodies!

As we strolled past the street window, we couldn’t help but notice the skilled sushi chefs crafting beautiful presentations with warm smiles greeting us from inside the bustling restaurant. Intrigued, we decided to venture in last night and inquired about making a reservation for a dining experience. Returning the following evening, we were greeted by a wonderful dark ambiance and authentically decorated interior, infused with modern touches. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness of the sushi and the attentive service. It was a delightful experience. However, I couldn’t help but notice that some items seemed to be priced on the higher side.

Very good and authentic tasting food. The fried rice was one of the best in Barcelona, which I see as a barometer for good Chinese food. The eggplant was also very good: molten hot on the inside, and a good spice level (could have been more). Dumplings were well made and presented. The only negatives are the seasoning of the dumpling fillings was a bit off (probably needs MSG) and the baozi dough wasn't great.

Beautiful restaurant serving authentic food. We had one celiac with us who could not have been happier with the food options as with the rest of us! Extremely friendly staff who spoke great English to help us with the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant
We really enjoyed the lunch menu! we live in Hong Kong and are very familiar with the Dim Sum dishes, and we can tell their quality is great. Probably on the top 3 of Barcelona if I dare to say.
The staff is friendly, kind and accommodating.

Great food and attentive staff. Food has to be ordered by connecting to WiFi, scanning QR code and selecting drinks, meals and deserts. Bit of a faff but worth it

Eating out late in Barcelona!!! A close friend of mine always eat Chinese food when he goes to Barcelona. And I must say, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've eaten- the spicy wonton has an amazing sauce much different from the USA version. Asian problem- I need some fresh jasmine rice after how many days of Spanish food.

The owner has the best English for a Chinese person- they really do cater to the tourist. Service is excellent. You order thru an app on you phone- food comes out pretty quickly. Dimsum late night is awesome!!!

It’s a good place for non Chinese to start trying Chinese food. The environment and service are much better than average Chinese restaurants in Barcelona, the quality of food and the price too.
Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 is homemade and good quality.
Jiaozi transparent水晶饺子,according to the texture of the paste wrapping shrimp and bamboo, I am 80% sure it’s a frozen product from a supermarket. It would be nice to you if you haven’t tried a really good one in China.
The scallops 粉丝蒸扇贝,the sauce was correct and tasty, but maybe the scallops were a little bit too big, they didn’t have taste at all. A little bit disappointed.
The beans 干煸四季豆, was one of those best that I have tried in Europe.
In general, I would recommend this restaurant to my non Chinese friends without doubt but maybe not to all my Chinese friends.

After a week of Spanish food, the wife, kids and I wanted something different so I looked this place up as it was close to our hotel. Normally I shy away from restaurants that have mixed cuisines in the menu, like Japanese food in a Chinese restaurant, but this place was great!

There were a couple dishes that weren’t Chinese on the menu, but overall this is a Chinese restaurant!

The Xiao Long Bao was really good here! It had a thin skin and a lot of soup in it. We also had the scallops with transparent noodles and the eggplant dish which were exceptional too. The Vietnamese veggie spring roll was also delicious. The noodle soup was average though; the soup base and the wontons were good, but the noodles were a bit limp and underwhelming.

Service was fairly attentive and the restaurant itself is deceptively big. It even had a window where you could watch the cooks in action!

An expensive eatery featuring a corridor reminiscent of the charming "Eixample" style, although thankfully it offers ample space. The ambiance is characterized by gentle and soothing lighting. The cuisine boasts a pleasing array of options, yet the service lacks organization and attempts to compensate by insisting on the use of QR code menus, even against your preference, resulting in an experience reminiscent of a fast food self-service kiosk.

Went there with a family as we were hunting down gluten free places in Barcelona. The food was absolutely great. We tried a bit of everything but my favourites were salmon dumplings and mini pork ribs that went very well with the rice. The prices were also very appealing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for tasty gluten free Asian food.

Not a dedicated gf spot, but they still manage to make gluten free dishes safe for celiacs. Lots of gluten free options including dim sums and dumplings. Very attentive and friendly service. A must visit even if you are not into gluten free!

Visited based off previous recommendations and it didn’t disappoint. So many gluten free options and the staff were incredible. The menu clearly states what is Gluten Free and when I wasn’t sure of the dish to have I was recommended a dish and it was our favourite dish of the night. It’s taken everything not to just eat here every night during our stay.

Overall, it was a good place to enjoy Chinese food, although in my opinion, it didn't particularly stand out in terms of food quality. However, I was impressed by the use of an app to place orders, which I found to be an innovative and practical idea. I have to mention that during my visit, our group of seven people received our food at different times, which made some dishes get cold before we could try them. On the other hand, I must highlight that their iced tea is spectacular and definitely worth trying. Overall, I think it's a recommended place for those looking for a Chinese food option in Barcelona, but perhaps they should pay more attention to the service to enhance the customers' experience.

*Food*
Really good and fresh dumpling, one of the biggest variety i ve seen in Barcelona.

The Aubergine is a must to try, the wonton was maybe the least good in my opinion, had too much fried part compared to the relatively small amountof fillings.

*Atmosphere*
Had an nice authentic but also modern vibe, and older woman was making the dumpling fresh at the door.

*Service*
Friendly staff and i really liked the idea that they can show photos about all the dishes on a tablet to make it easier for you to choose.

*Price*
We went 2 people ate good, had 2 beers each and paid 50€ total. Decent price, but we had 30% discount, with out that might be a bit price, calculate with 35€/person

I would definitely return

Yummy food, great service. Did a lunch menu, a tasting menu and a couple menu dishes. Only two of us. So full, but couldn’t stop eating. Dessert baos were quite surprising!

Truely disappointed by this restaurant. We thought it would be a modern second generation chinese restaurant with nice and tasty food and found out that it has become a bad managed worse than average restaurant. All dimsum are not homemade and the pork with breads had a strange smell and bad taste. We couldn't eat it. Definitely would not recommend at all.
Fantastic restaurant, the food is delicious and for a second I felt I was back in China. The eggplant was to die for as well as the rest! I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dishes but the real surprise was the chocolate dessert... When I opened the box I was surprised by the small size and the style but I bite and I changed my mind! The combo of the olive oil drops and the chocolate is definitely something you want to experience!

Absolutely fantastic food and incredible quality for the price.

Loads of dumpling offerings served in good quantities with lots of meat & seafood and veggie options.

Main plates are a treat and they give very generous servings for the cost. The menu doesn’t mention it but rice is include with most of them too. The aubergine plate is particularly good, as are the spring rolls.

The place itself is clean and cosy with a good amount of seating, with bookings through The Fork (recommended). Takeaway and delivery options are also available.

A must visit.

Better than expected. The Beijing style noodles (#29) was served as expected where the cold ingredients and hot are served separate and you mix it before you eat. Flavor was close to what was expected, maybe slightly light but that's individual preference. The hot and Sour soup (#8) had some differences in ingredients compared to traditional but flavor was close to expected as well.

Not the cheapest but for what you get definitely a good value as well. I would come back.

Did not have any major problems communicating as an English speaker (speak slowly!), though they focused a majority of their time on couple of large groups in back.

I’d skip the tiramisu next time but that’s just personal preference, preferring regular tiramisu.

Cozy place, nice food and friendly staff to make our experiences exceptional.

The vegetarian guotie is very tasty to go with the vinegar soy sauce. Based on European standard (usually the tofu tastes too firm...) their tofu is pretty tender and soft. I believe it tastes better to go with plain rice but we ordered fried rice so a tiny bit salty. In general, everything fulfill our appetite and feels like back to Asia in Barcelona.

The ginger ice cream 🍨 made a perfect ending. Highly recommendable for Asian food lovers!

Delicious, homely, and hearty food! The staffs and service were on point. This is probably one of the best (IMHO) Chinese restaurants I've come across in Barcelona. A great find, for sure. I'm all hooked and will definitely be returning!
