I’ve gone to this place for years and the food is always amazing. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow but the food is worth the wait every time. I have also ordered take out many times. The take out is always fantastic and the same quality of dining in.
We had a good time, food was good, took a bit to get but they were really busy, looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Clean and well lit 🔥 not so crowded so wait time is less than others. Food price is a bit higher but regarding favours and portions really worth it. Highly recommended
Mid-week dinner with friends. Quiet atmosphere, great for talking. Our food was fabulous, staff was very attentive but never rushed us. Price was reasonable. If you like authentic Vietnamese and Chinese this place is a definite must try.
Very good pho ngl. didn’t expect it to be good tbh, because it was the only one open. I guess I was very wrong. Had a very calm atmosphere, portions were very big with good quality to match. The menu was not too small, or too big. First time eating here, definitely coming back with a couple friends
A wonderful dining experience in every way. Our server was so kind, knew the menu like the back of their hand, and delivered our food with care. The food was absolutely delicious and came very quickly. The price was spot on for the quality and quantity you get. Overall, a great experience. Will be back again soon!
We absolutely love this place and were more than willing to see what it was like under new ownership. We’re avid #33 eaters, now #46, but we were a little disappointed with some of the changes. The sauce isn’t as flavourful, and the meat appears to be cooked different(not as much flavour either), it’s close to the original but not quite. We would be more than happy to try again if some changes could please be made to bring it back to the original.
We usually have the pho, i order Yaki Udon through skip, I requested chilli oil on the side also requested it to be really spicy. Called the restaurant to remind them, and the guy over the phone seemed like he understood.I got the food and it was the most bland thing I ever tasted, they basically boiled the noodle, sautéed with veggie and sent it my way. Zero spice, no flavour, no salt, nothinggggggg. 😩👀. Forget the flavour, at least add the chilli oil or the hot sauce as I requested 😡😤. They want to charge you an arm and a leg these days for nothing but a veggie and a noodle that’s sautéed
Love this spot... Soups are awesome, staff is friendly and the place is clean. Prices are reasonable.
We happened to be trying out of the restaurant on their first business day!

Zhao is a really good owner.
It's a family-owned business which is visible from their service.

We have a lot of dietary restrictions at the moment, and they took care of everything.

Yes, it is more expensive than the other pho restaurants; but you get what you pay for and you have to try out the food!

They bought the place; it's new owners so try not to consider previous reviews.

It's so good.

Will be back.

Thanks!
Awesome restaurant. My go to in Winnipeg. Great staff and sharable size portions. Place is very clean and respectful and professional staff. Quiet and peaceful environment to have a meal alone or with friends and family.
Where to start? The service was friendly. The food was good. We never received our drinks. I never received my food because they forgot about me so I left hungry. We wanted to try somewhere new. We did. Overall it was extremely disappointing and we will definitely not be returning.
Fast friendly service! Came for lunch and ordered a bowl of Pho. It arrived very quickly and the staff were very accommodating. The Pho was good, not great. I found the broth less flavorful than other places I've tried. That being said it was still REALLY good and I polished off the bowl. Will definitely return!
It was very good. Service was quick and they were very attentive to my kids dietary needs. They are vegan so a vegan soup was provided. I got the shrimp and pork soup was a little disappointed there was only one shrimp in the entire bowl. Other dishes were the rice rolls and veggie chow mein. A little more expensive than other places. Miss the fruit at the end from pho kim houng.

Decided to try this place for the first time. It's the first Vietnamese restaurant in the city, which opened in 1986. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue and the shrimp & pork salad rolls. Food is ok and more expensive than a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants in the city. The regular size Bun Bo Hue was $11, we asked for the large size and when we went to pay the bill it costed $5 more to upsize the soup. It costs about $12 for an x-large at one of my favorite restaurants down the street. Their salad rolls cost $11 compared to $7.50 as well. Probably won't be coming back due to prices and overall taste. Staff however is very friendly.

Probably in my top 3 Vietnamese restaurants. Everything I have tried here has been delicious. Staff is always friendly and prices are pretty good.
