But the river was dry💔

Water hasn't been flowing for a good amount of time now. The government is not letting the water through. But people Stull go here as it's a must visit place in isfahan. This landmar is also close to a big no car street to shop.

Unfortunately the water wasn't flowing for this visit, but its very nice to see at night with the lights and water. Apparently built in 1600 a.d. - a nice park on the far side as well. A nice spot of history to add into your daily trip that doesn't take much time to visit.

One of the best and magnificant bridges in Isfihan to visit, especially at night
It looks amazingly beautiful with the light effect during the night. It's a cool place to take a stroll in the night.

The Allahverdi Khan Bridge, popularly known as Si-o-se-pol. T bridge of thirty-three [spans]'), is the largest of the eleven historical bridges on the Zayanderud, the largest river of the Iranian Plateau, in Isfahan, Iran. The bridge was built in the early 17th century to serve as both a bridge and a dam. It is a popular recreational gathering place, and is one of the most famous examples of Iran's Safavid architecture.

good

I am recalling so many memories and decent people when I am hearing the name of this place.

Isfahan is a city of historic bridges to commemorate the "Zayandeh Rood" River in the middle of the desert. One of these historic bridges is the Jubi / Choobi/ Chubi Bridge or Wooden Bridge. Some believe that the name of the Chubi bridge (meaning made of wood) is wrong, but some historians have pointed out that this Safavid bridge actually had a wooden structure at first, and only its foundation was made of stone and lime. At that time, however, today this bridge is made of bricks like Khajoo bridge and "Si O Se Pol" bridge.
The root of another name, Jubi Bridge (meaning the bridge where there is a creek to transfer water), which seems to be a more accurate name, although less commonly used, is that in the middle of the bridge there is a stone carved out of stone. Where water has flowed to irrigate the gardens north of the bridge.
However, in my opinion, this narration is not logical because, despite the Zayandehrud River, there was no reason for water to flow from the bridge.
In any case, in my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful bridges in Isfahan, which is located between Khajoo Bridge and "Si O Se Pol" bridge, and tourists usually miss it.
During the Safavid period, this narrow bridge was only used for the Shah's family, and ordinary people were not allowed to cross it, and there were several palaces on either side of it. There are two promenades on the lower floor of the bridge, which has a residential use and is now a cafeteria.

Do not miss the opportunity of visiting the place now that the river is still running at this time of the year; beware of the white flies though, they're everywhere near water and real joy killers unfortunately.

Historical bridge.Inside the bridge there are two cafes where the river flows is a great place to spend a drink.

It is one the smallest bhistorical bridges on Zayande Rood in old Isfahan. The water flow and its melodious sound passing the bridge basis is ideal for relaxation. The green park in both side of river and the coffee shop in the midle of the bridge are unique and great.

Very busy with traffic. Beautiful, specially when Niyasarm stream (flows under the bridge) is embedded with water.

Another historical bridges of Isfahan city. It's view is amazing. Besides there are 2 cafes in the lower part of the bridge. Some times there are musicians playing their instruments on the bridge and people sing with them. If the Zaynaderoud river Alive , not dried, it's a good place for sitting and watching and thinking maybe

It's lead you to azar and tohid streets.

پل آذر یه مکان خیلی خوب برای پیاده روی و لذت بردن از هوای تمیز بوستان ملت و بوستان کودک هست
مخصوصا الان که آب به زاینده رود برگشته و هوا عالی و دلچسبه

Its a very nice place to be, I really enjoy it. The bridge is located between the well known 33 pole bridge and the Kajoo bridge in the historical city of Isfahan, Iran.
Be there during sunset you will surely accept that Nature is beautiful.

Unfortunately there is no water in the river most of the year but it's a beautiful bridge and Worth to see

The Joui or Pol e Joui bridge in located between two other famous bridges (Si-o-Se Pol and Khaju). This bridge was only used by the court or high-ranking officials coming to visit the king and ordinary people could not use it but today, irony with thia bridge is that despite common people now can visit it but people go to Si o se and Khaju bridge a lot as compare to this bridge. The matter of the truth is that this bridge is not as beautiful as other bridges in Isfahan. So, only thing which can attract you to see that what kind of joui bridge looks like which was only opened for elite class in the Iranian history.
