The Super-Valu has been a close-by place to shop for me & my family for at least 20 years. I have fond memories of the 10 minute walk with my 2 besties, when we’d buy a bunch of goodies (to then indulge & watch movies/play video games back at my place) & even back then, the prices were fair & the selection was great. The staff have always been so friendly & accommodating, too. I recall one of our “treat days” where I’d seen a trend I wanted to try (banoffee pie with a topping of marmalade for added flavour). As I was getting both, I unluckily dropped a jar of marmalade on the floor (suffering dyspraxia, it makes me clumsy). I felt so bad about it, despite my besties saying it was an accident, as it left sticky marmalade & glass shards all over the floor. I found a young female employee & I offered to pay for it, but she told me not to fret about it & she insisted that I didn’t need to reimburse them. I thanked her profusely for understanding & when I asked if she was sure (as I totally would’ve paid up), she insisted that I was fine & wished us a good day. That’s a kindness I’ve never forgotten. Now, almost 2 decades later, much of my family benefit, especially since they’ve installed petrol pumps. My mum, my older sisters & now my eldest niece use the Super-Valu almost daily. It’s especially helpful now that I’m physically disabled, as we can fill up our cars before going anywhere & my mum/sister(s) always buy me a drink & a snack/sweets for the road (as I’m also type 1 diabetic, I always need to keep a drink & a snack or something sweet handy). I guess what I mean to say is that the Super-Valu I know so well is one of the best shops out there & they’ve only gotten better with time. I can 100% recommend it to everyone as a good & reliable place to shop for all the little things you might need to buy in, as well as fuel for vehicles. It’s not like the huge supermarkets, but for a smaller store, they certainly provide their stock generously. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 stars, as far as I’m concerned. 😊💖

A refreshing experience, well stocked and presented with warm and friendly staff. Highly recommended with a broader range of good than you'd expect... A nice spot

Large store with butchers, bakery, ice cream, hot food bar, coffee station plus all other products you would expect at a small supermarket. Recently started stocking M&S products, which is probably the only reason I would visit this store. These products are at a higher price than you would buy in a normal Marksies store, but I guess you are paying for the convenience.
Staff are rarely friendly and always a queue at the tills.
Disabled and parent and baby parking spaces available at front of the store but always seem to be filled with people without children.
Laundry machines also available outside the store as well as petrol pumps.

A store that provides convenience for that last-minute item, but at a high price! Offering more products from the Republic of Ireland, which is not great! It's harder to find British and local produce here, so we have stopped using this store even though it is the closest store to us...We must support our local suppliers and farmers!!
