The free tour they offer is definitely worth doing. It's a self-paced walk through of their museum where you can learn about the history of classic southern spirits and cocktails. Throughout the tour, there are cocktails stations where bartenders are handing out samples. Very informative and fun. I wish they had an actual bar that we could go to after the tour - we definitely would have stayed for a cocktail or two after learning about all of them!
To avoid disappointment, reserve your tickets in advance online. We were there around 2pm on a weekend afternoon and walk-ins were getting turned away because they had no more openings for the rest of the day.

Amazing museum/Distillery!
It was fully interactive and each floor contained levels of not only tastings but so much amazing information! Not a history buff, but the whole thing was amazing! So great in fact, that I ended up buying our pup a toy from the souvenir shop.

Great experience to learn about the history of the sazerac house and the overall cocktail culture in New Orleans. The whole tour can take roughly 1 hour with 3 free cocktail tasting. Highly recommend for a quick tour and for a possible rainy day activity.
The FREE Tour was Amazing! Sample delish too! Did the Tropical Rum Tasting. Sally was very knowledgeable & entertaining. John at the front desk was Awesome at answering our questions & very helpful w our purchases! Great day for a Sazerac in NOLA! Thanks to the making of Fireball for the funding Beautiful Museum. Will be back!!
Reservations recommended for this amazingly free tour. With this you get to enjoy 3 samples of their featured spirits. Really fun way to spend an hour or two! We enjoyed it!
Great FREE tastings and historical tour spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at the incredible cocktails, service, and fun facts we learned along the way. Definitely recommend this experience. Book in advance, the last tour of the day ends at 4:15, and you might not get to do it if you wait until the last minute.
Absolute MUST when in NOLA! The tour is free with 3 different tastings along the way. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! The house itself is really cool, and the history of the New Orleans cocktail is fun and interesting to learn about. Will be back to do again!
Free tour with tastes of 3 cocktails! We showed up without a reservation and had no problem doing a tour right away - this might be different on certain days or times of year. The tour is self guided so you set your own pace. It's a beautiful museum setup with several interactive displays. Gift shop has lots of items with many affordable options.
