I stop to bay a cake for my wife, and when I got home I realized that was frozen. I got it from a place where the cakes were supposed to be ready to eat. Big disappointment
Rotten customer service and getting worse.
At 8:p.m. I have to wait behind 15 others, then scan and bag 45 items myself.
I am disabled.
Why am I doing your job?
I should get a discount.
You do not offer full service.
My neighbors have seen the same.
Will be shopping elsewhere.
Will let other social media know the same as well as the BBB.

This QFC has been around for a long time and it's my go to place next to Safeway which is few more miles down south on Rainier. In the past I used to go to Safeway more as their prices were cheaper then QFC, but lately Safeway prices has gone up quite and I have been going to this QFC. It's not that this QFC is cheaper, but when you check their weekly deals, sales, and digital deals, you can get away paying less.
Plus I prefer QFC fruits. Might cost more at this store but when they are sale, it's worth it and fresher then Safeway.
I like their Starbucks and flower section. The customer service are awesome from both! Particularly the florist.
But here is my frustration from this place. Their sales ad and customer service from workers.
One time when I was paying and leaving at the self check out a worker said "You need to pay for the bag!" and I said "I did" and showed her the receipt. She walked away without apologizing. And the crazy thing was she did this to me twice within 6 month apart.
Today I bought some lemons and other things as ad says 5 - $5. (see picture) but charged me $1.25.
A worker came by and I showed her the picture from the ad. She says that she's not responsible for the fruit section, then says something like "You need to by 5 to get $1 each." then said "If you want to make it a big deal, I'll do it this time."
First, I didn't make a big deal as I just wanted to get clear explanation of the ad (which is wrong sometimes when u shop here) I said to her I'll just pay for what it is (1.25 each) and left.
QFC needs to train their workers better, and to have respect and be nicer to customers as we may not fully understand how the ad works and please be clear on the ads.

One year ago, I would advise people to stay away from this store. I was constantly harassed by people outside the store asking for money. They have hired some security guards which has improved to the situation, but I think they still need to keep an eye on the area outside the door, and the parking lots so customers can come into the store, without being harassed .I’ve talked with many of the security guys (many are from Afghanistan) I always thank the security guards for their work on my way out. I bought Starbucks gift cards for two of them the other day; they’re very friendly, lovely people who are doing a difficult job. I’m tired of being harassed for money and I’m tired of watching people blatantly stealing stuff. That jacks the prices up for all of us. Stop stealing, get a job, and work like the rest of us are doing.
The selection of items by category is small. Most items are more expensive than other stores. In store security profiles. This I know first hand because I was approached by two while shopping and told I was to leave the store immediately. I had to ask why. I was accused of shoplifting and told I was seen putting things in my pockets. I immediately turned my pockets inside out, set my personal items aside, and offered to let them pat me down. Seeing that I had no store items on my person and only in my shopping cart they backed down. As I was checking out I asked to speak to a manager. I was first referred to some person who was abrupt, dismissive and rude but not the head MFer in charge. After a 30 minute wait I received an apology. The only reason I've gone back, is it remains open until midnight verses Safeway's 11 pm, for last minute items. Unfortunately that's when there's a rush of shoplifters. And ironically, security's eyes remain on the wrong target. Good luck with that.
Higher prices here,but good quality groceries. Some time they have really good sale prices.

Pretty decent, if you are planning for a Barbque this is not the place to get the meat…. Selection is very limited
It's your basic QFC, located on Rainier Avenue South across the street from Lowe's. They seem to have a pretty good selection of produce and the meat department and Deli look pretty good, so probably one of the nicer grocery stores in the area. They also have a Starbucks inside as well.
