If tou like to have fresh fish. Go there. The fish is fresh literally. With reasonable prices . Don't forget to go to the first floor if you want your fish cooked.
Works post afternoon till late night, with vegetable market and meat market within the same facility. There is fish cleaning facility available within the market and grilling of fish premises at walkable distance from the market.
Too costly place to buy fish.

The place is cool and laid back. The only down thing is there are just 2 places (Restaurants) where u can get your sea food cooked and both places don't have sitting areas....

It was a refreshing and a wonderful sight to experience the smells, the boatmen coming in with the immediate catch, the busyness and the freshness of the fish. All the men @ the rak fish market work very hard and with top speed. Great customer experience with fresh products and value for money.
The market is organized and maintained well. Cheapest days are Monday to Wednesday. :) You can also let them clean the fish you bought, just go to the next separate room and look for "Cleaning and Cutting" signage. I attached the photo for the cleaning services rates.

Recently revamped and look very neat and hygienic. Separate clean place for fish cutting. Most of the catches in ras-al-khaimah and some from oman and iran comes here. Fresh fishes, were you can select and bargain from many vendors. There is also a section on this market which sells fruits, vegetables and Butchery of meats. Amble of car park. Fully air conditioned.
