I recently moved to Annapolis and was so happy to find Amy Ricker and her team. They have been so helpful and welcoming. Signing up was super easy and their responsiveness is "off the charts"!
I'm so lucky to have such a compassionate provide, Castle Donovan. I wish I could give 10 stars.

Amy Richter has helped my parents's for years and they simply adore her. Such a caring person.
Dr. Groff is so easy to talk to in every way. Not a fan of physicals, I actually enjoyed seeing her for mine today.
I have been so happy with Cathrine Wilson as my doctor. I’m a fairly new patient and she has been so wonderful and thorough. The nurses and front desk staff have also been super helpful! I recommend Cathrine Wilson and this doctors office to all my friends.
This is a great Primary Care facility. Everyone is polite and very friendly. I needed to make a quick appointment for an EKG for pre-op and Ginger went out of her way to make sure I was able to get an appointment the next morning to get it done! Thank you so much.
New to the area and tried to call to get setup as a new patient and was told they couldn't see me until SEPTEMBER! Its the first week of February....
After years of dealing with overcrowded medical practices where I got five minutes with the doctor if I was lucky, I switched to Annapolis Family Medicine. I only wish I'd made the change years ago, because what a difference! From the lovely, bright office to the very helpful and friendly staff, to my experience with Catherine as my practitioner, I can't say enough good things. Catherine spent a long time with me to make sure she understood my issues and followed up to make sure I was doing well. I didn't feel rushed or like they were trying to cram me in between patients. Highly recommend!
Aside from the extreme difficulty and confusion having Stephanie coordinate with my insurance carrier, I almost Gave up becoming a concierge patient I and Absolutely thrilled with my care with Kastle. Kastle takes such personal care and attention to my needs.
I can’t recommend this practice enough! When scheduling an appointment request Kastle! She is the absolute best! It is so rare to find a provider that is so caring, compassionate, and thorough! She never makes me feel rushed, and you can tell she is completely present every single appointment. She genuinely listens and takes in all factors before coming to a conclusion and that’s something you can’t afford to miss out on when it comes to your health!
Been going here for a year. Got vaccines, physical, blood work. Doctors and nurses are friendly, respectful, and educational. No problems.
Kastle has been my primary care provider for 8+ years. I cannot sing her praises loud enough! She is incredibly professional, personable, comforting and, most importantly, she is extremely knowledgeable about medicine. She sincerely cares about each of her patients and is so quick to respond to any questions or concerns!
I saw Dr. Groff today. Best experience I have had with a primary care doctor. She listened to all my concerns, and made me feel really comfortable!
I am a on a search to find a Primary Care Doctor. I came across Maryland Primary Care Physicians center thinking oh they have nice reviews and the doctors seem like they would be a best fit for me. Called them to get set up and the front desk lady who answered they phone was right off the back sounding annoyed. She was very rude to me on the phone and due to this you lost a potential customer.
Avoid this practice at all costs. A week ago while traveling I tested positive for the Flu. No problem my OB got me a prescription of tamiflu (since I’m pregnant she was my first call). Well I finished the course of tamiflu, still feeling off with completely different symptoms now- I’m thinking a sinus infection. I call the office to try to get an appointment. They inform me they aren’t seeing sick patients. What is the point of paying this office a premium if they won’t even see you when you are sick? They said we can start with a virtual and if I need a test we can set up yet another appointment for a tech to come to my car. I don’t need a test I need a proper doctor who will see their patients. Avoid avoid avoid. No one needs a fair weather primary care doctor.
My husband and I went as new patients to get a check up and establish a primary care office. The interactions with the doctors were normal and respectful, but we got a bill for my husband of $260 (Originally $500+ before insurance) without any listed/itemized reason and we supposed it was because he asked a question about whether a spot on his skin needed care and was given a referral for a dermatologist. So we paid it. I made sure not to say anything during my visit so we wouldn’t have a big bill since we have great insurance and I thought in most places a wellness check is covered. But, I just received a bill for $170 (originally 250) even though my appointment was maybe 10 minutes (15 minutes max) to say "I don't have any questions" and nothing else, very minimal interaction, not at all extensive. So I may just not understand our insurance, but just a heads up that the bills are massive. I don’t know if anywhere is less, but we will be looking for elsewhere.
I have been going to Dr Welch for years. I have referred people to her and she now sees my daughter. I have found her to be very knowledgeable, fantastic bedside manner, and is very attentive. Her nurse, Jen, is also very sweet and helpful. Don't listen to the other reviews. She is difficult to get an urgent care appointment with, but that means she is very popular. The other doctors I've seen for emergent issues have also been very helpful. Dr. Welch also responds to her messages within 24 hours!
