The best primary care doctor I've ever had a great doctor honest sincere under

Very bad experience, I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone, I ran out of high blood pressure medication and it took him more than a week to submit the prescription.

Dr. Correa had been my doctor for 3+ years. Was recently misdiagnosed and I went to urgent care because something didn't feel right, turns out to be a severe overlooked issue that required immediate surgery and medicine.

I've called back every day since then to get ahold of him and he has yet to return my calls, 2 weeks later.

He is no longer my doctor and I worry about what else he had missed over the years.

I love Dr. Schmidt because he is a family friend of my dad and he is so nice and friendly to his patients and he has a cute grandson and he did help a lot with my family which i will never forget

Better have a good lawyer. His office accepted my insurance, had me do blood test and visit and then told me they can't take my insurance after. Now they are calling me for hundreds of dollars of medical bills for two visits.

I've been with the same Peimary physician for almost 3 years of here in San Pedro CA. Good man. But a One man show though. So unfortunately when he was hit by a hit and run and out of commission for an unknown length of time I had all of these important tests that I just recently done that he said came out looking concerningly bad. So I went for more intensive testing and due to fact that this new Dr. Correa was able to help me by listening and reviewing my results. He will take take care of me. Unfortunately my previous Dr. Is out of commission for an unknown time and due to the fact that he has no back up Dr. Or nurse in his office I had no choice. But I have a wonderful feeling about Dr. Correa. He WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF ME !

I live in Las Vegas now, but for years Dr. Schmidt was my doctor. He is so fantastic that for several years after moving to Las Vegas, I commuted to San Pedro to see him for my regular appointments. It is true that the waiting room time is often extensive, but that is because the doctor spends as much time with his patients as they need, never rushing them out the door. I have had visits where he spent half an hour or more with me. And the review that blasted Mena is unbelievable. Mena is the kindest, sweetest nurse on earth.

Dr Schmidt is AMAZING!! We just moved here from Texas and I took my mom to see him. She has a very complicated medical history. He was patient, thorough, listens and has an awesome sense of humor. These are traits you don’t often find in providers these days. Most times it is all about how many people you can see in a day, moving you in and out. He is not like that at all. He is competent and extremely personable. I see some of the reviews complain about the time in the waiting room. I can tell you first hand, if you have a long wait time, it is because he is taking the time to get to know his patients and making sure they have everything they need, to me, that is worth all the wait time in the world. Thank you Dr Schmidt 💜

Dr Schmidt is the best doctor I have possibly ever been to, most doctors will just not really hear you out and dont seem to care about your problem, Be honest with Dr S and he will respect you more, hes understood me unlike any other doctor has, he also doesnt judge based on past medical experiences. 5/5 stars and would recommend him to anyone

Dr. Correa is an excellent doctor. My family and I have been his patients for many years. He is a caring doctor who takes his time to explain everything and always answers all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Correa.

Dr. Schmidt is by far my favorite doctor, yes the wait does take a while but that's because he takes his time with every single patient and its worth it. I have never had a bad experience with him. He has treated me for my physicals and as a woman it is difficult feeling comfortable with a male doctor and by far he is like a best friend to me. I'm really sad that I have to change doctors because he isn't contracted with Medi-Cal patients I wish I could keep him as my primary. I'm going to miss you Dr. Schmidt! Hopefully I can go back one day as your patient.

Mena should be fired. She is unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. Made the appointment over a month in advance. Waited based on the reputation of Dr. Schmidt . Arrived prior to appointment time and had all paperwork completed within minutes. After waiting 90 minutes in the office, and witnessing several people being seen prior to me that had arrived after i did...I approached the window to determine the status of my appointment. The ladies at the front window were nice, however extremely unhelpful. Mena called me to the back to tell me I was an hour away from seeing the Dr. That's 150 minutes PAST my appointment time. Mena said I should go run errands and come back. Frustrated I stated that length of wait time should be expressed to patients upon arrival, especially those with appointments. Mena redirected the conversation towards me stating I was rude and that I have an attitude. Uh, yeah, after 90 minute wait time and an hour left to go with a 10:30 appointment, I DO HAVE AN ATTITUDE! She raised her voice & tone became snappy. I called my insurance company to make sure no payment was rendered as I never saw the Dr. As well as filing a formal complaint with Anthem. I will never be back. I'd rather commute to see a good Dr. The front office staff is a representation of the Dr. himself. I am disappointed in the inappropriate behavior by Mena. 90 minute wait, with an hour left to go with an appointment? Would have been nice to be informed of this rather be told to "go run errands and come back". I would have received better care from Urgent Care.

I cannot say enough about Dr Sliskovich; He has taken care of my family for 24 years.
Moved away and still go to him.
