Top Arboretums in Haacht, Belgium

Today, we visited Arboretum Wespelaar and had a wonderful experience. The gardens were stunning and well-maintained. The staff, especially the lady at the information desk, was very helpful and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. A definite 5-star experience. Additionally, the informational materials and website were very helpful in identifying various plant species. We will definitely be returning in the future with a bottle of wine from Czechia.

A fantastic hidden gem!! You will not be disappointed. Do note that it has a few ponds so there can be mosquitos. So make sure to put enough repellent on for hot summer days!!

A relatively small but fantastic arboretum. It quickly became one of my personal favourites.

Very well maintained. All trees neatly tagged. 20 acres of garden all very accesible unfortgunately because of the drought the creeks around the wet plants were dry (must look amazing during spring).

Very nice arboretum. Very well maintained. Every 2 months they select 10 trees that are particularly interesting at that time and provide a page with extra info on the trees.

I love their Magnolia field! Never imagined there are so many sorts, shapes and colours...Great location for a day out in the green, or for a (wedding) Photoshoot

a beautiful place close to Brussels where you can enjoy a walk in the nature. a must also during the blooming seasons for magnolias

No paved roads, just walking on the grass. Very nice arboretum, rhododendrons and magnolia trees. Blooming end of April, mid May. Worth to visit.
