I liked that we could drive through. It's not a beauty drive, but interesting plant information on native plant life.

Beautiful and quiet place to see and enjoy God’s creation! And to meditate on His greatness and goodness!

Definitely worth a visit. A pity we didn't have a lot of time to spend there.

Found this off of the AllTrails app when driving and looking for a trail run before sunset. Got so lucky and cannot wait to come back and visit this spot again. Beautiful trails and is a must see!

Worth the visit, especially being free entry! The park is expensive, well kept and relaxing. Like everywhere else with nature in the area, watch out for spring/summer ticks.

This was a nice place with a good driving road around the property. The herb garden was pretty nice. I anticipated seeing more flowers in bloom but saw very little flowers in bloom. This would be a great place to go for a peaceful walk. The bamboo forest is pretty cool. If you have some time and are in the area it's not a bad place to stop. They also had some plants for sale.

Free! What a value. Great grounds to wander around. You can take it all in within 2-3 hours. I recommend coupling this visit with a visit to Sky Meadows State Park for a full day of wonderful scenery any time of year.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The collection of Evergreen trees and their pamphlet for a self guided tour were FANTASTIC, a highlight of my vacation. I also enjoyed the herb garden and driving the loop with marked trees and there are other educational sites along it.
Horseback riding is allowed and they have an area set up for corralling them, their trucks trailers all have their own designated area.
