New to the area and found the markets on a walk. Nice selection of all sorts of second hand and new handcrafted goodies, a few small fresh vegetables stands. Loved the stand where I bought some magnesium spray. Take a carry bag and cash or there are ATMs by the shops 5 mins walk. Lovely chilled and friendly vibe for a Sunday morning stroll in the sunshine.
It's most likely the worst market I have been to. Essentially, it's like if junk is being flicked off. Better items at a second-hand shop that donates money to a charity. Used to be far better with more variety of food stalls and a high caliber of sellers.

Awesome atmosphere, met some great people. Recommend Paradise Seashells as they gave an amazing selection of shells and gemstones. Stunning.
The majority of stalls are selling knockoffs, second hand rubbish, items of dubious origin, and of doubtful compatibility with NZ technology. Only a couple of produce stalls. Recommend avoiding
This market has a bit of everything. A few great market gardeners bursting with produce, school kids testing out their business ideas, curated thrift and some interesting second hand stuff.
Not exactly the best Sunday market you can go to. Has limited food options, and the majority of the stalls are donated clothing or items that looked like they came from Temu or Aliexpress. More like a flea market.
Great place to buy fleamarket items on Sundays when the weather is fine.

I haven't been here since pre covid. Was in need of some fresh produce and I tell you what, it did not disappoint.
Even though we didn't get there until about 10.45am, there was still a wide range of fruit and veg, and because of the time of day, 6 of the vendors had reduced prices further.
1/4 watermelon for 5 bux
2 mangos for 10 bux
2 punnets of cherry tomatoes 5 bux
Celery, broccoli, and cauliflower all 3 dollars each.
I had a field day!
Think I'll be adding the markets to me weekly shop cause let's face it, the supermarkets are getting worse and worse by the day, both price and quality wise.
4 stars as some punters have no idea of personal space or suddenly become blind to queues.

Have some fun strolling around the market and buy some fresh vegs and fruits, try some foods you wouldn't try at other places--its really a good place to spend a couple of hours on weekends with family
Excellent morning markets and fresh and fantastic produce. I would highly recommend coming, but make sure you bring cash

Other then imitation brand labels and one isle dedicated to fast food was all it had.

Did not disappoint! Such a friendly vibe! Fresh produce 💯! Halal stores, vegan and plentiful fresh seafood. So much happiness in my belly today! Glad we put Otara Market as a must visit! Arrived at 7.30am & left 11am with so much! Get in early for fresh hot donuts & delicious potato salad - cook island, Manaui👌🏽

We were here at 10 and the place was packed with both people and vehicles, so do come early to get a parking spot.
Some stalls sell out early so it pays to visit early. Will definitely come back for the food, especially for the otai!

Food really good but take 20 to 30mins for your food to come , very busy. Starts 5am & finish at 12pm..
