The food is delicious, the staff is nice but it was very crowded and the were a lot of noises. Maybe is better for you to have a reservation.

We searched around for nearby tapas and found this highly-rated place. It was very popular; if we had arrived just 10 minutes later, we would have had to wait for a table. We tried several typical tapas, and they were all very good, especially the beef burger, which was delicious and well-seasoned. The shrimp was also excellent with a great texture.staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. Food was amazing, fresh and tasty, portions big and the staff friendly. A nice Spanish experience and not filled with Germans like other places.

Visited twice over the weekend it was that good. Decent wine and beer selection and superb food. Highly recommend the pigs cheeks and if you're there on a Friday, the oozing tortilla is excellent. Note tortilla is only served every other evening. Great place to hang out, highly recommend

Exactly what I love, a busy lunchtime, bar stools all occupied with locals and tourists alike, enjoying a caña y tapas.
Although at capacity, the friendly waitress found me a snug corner barrel table with high stools to sit at, whereby I ordered the Entrecote 'en su punto, a glass of house red and a sparking water.
I was offered some delicious apparently home made bread, thick cut, crispy crusted and dense and fluffy inside, not the usual boring stale baguette normally provided in such places. The Alioli and aceitunas were delicious.
The steak arrived sizzling hot and sliced, on a terracotta plate; a thick streak of juicy fat along its flanks, and incredibly tasty and succulent with flaked salt. The meat came accompanied by fat chips, above average and crispy/fluffy, and a few pimientos de Padrón as a garnish.

The wine was acceptable as a house red.

Perfect spot for a quick, informal lunch for hungry visitors and Palma locals alike.

Top Empfehlung 👍

Obviously the place is quite popular so it’s always full during weekdays and there was a waiting line of about 30’ ~ 10 tables on Sunday afternoon. Be careful when you order because while the price on menu were at the higher range compared to other local diners, their portion is HUGE. Quality is excellent, my calamar andaluza and gamba al ajillo are one of the freshest that I tasted during the trip. Definitely would come back here next time I’m in Palma.

Top!
Visited this on a holiday and the service was slow with the food not being much better. I ordered the calamari and would not recommend this at all, it came out very rubbery.

Rating this overall a 3 star as the atmosphere was lovely

Great atmosphere. They have a lot of different tapas made with fresh ingredients. Meat or seafood. Besides that, they have other traditional and local dishes.
Place fills up fast after 7. Excellent food and service all around. Scallops not on the menu, so ask the waiter for their Zamburiñas (Scallops), 2.50-3 euros each depending on size. There are delicious. Had Octopus again. What can I say, the wife loves it and we’re not going to get anything close to this quality when where back to Denver, Colorado in the US of A or anywhere else around home.

Discovered this on Google, attracted by its glowing reviews. Tried it out for some traditional Spanish eats. While the prices were great at around 20€ for a full meal, the food was a bit bland and arrived cold. Service was quick, even though it could be improved with friendliness and kind gesture. Good for budget-friendly dining, but don’t expect top-notch flavor.
Nice authentic Spanish restaurant! Had the lovely Desi serve us! Would have been good to let us know about the bread to start, whether we could choose chips or salad with our mains. Great choice for the set menu and if you chose wine is comes with a whole bottle. Dessert was included too. Recommendation would be to have outside on the board that the menu for the day is the ‘set menu’ and that it includes bread, a drink and dessert!

Great restaurant with different style of tapas. We tried nearly the whole menu and we were stuffed with happiness. The portions are big for a normal tapas but no complain about that. All the dishes we had are very delicious, well seasoned and prepared. I loved that some of the tapas are heavily Asian inspired. Very different and unique.

The staff are lovely and very attentive despite being a very busy evening.

Great food (octopus was amazing), nice wine selection. Service on the other hand was of rather poor quality - despite the fact that there are number of waitresses you don't feel to be taken care of. Waiting time between the starters and main course was way to long (over 45 minutes).

Gracias 🌞

Palma has it share of great restaurants for sure. This one stands out as pretty much everyone gets to sit down at this very long counter. Well thought out. Really great service. Food was crazy good (but a little expensive)

All I all.... I recommend visiting when you get a chance
Typisch spanisches Ambiente. Gegen Abend etwas lauter. Gute Musik.

Great place, such efficient service! Beautiful atmosphere. Kind staff. Some things are way overpriced, like the olives, also in my opinion some free bread would be nice as the olive oil used is forth mopping up each plate. All in all wonderful experience. Veggie options which looked amazing 👏🏻 🤩

This is a mainly bear bar favored by younger local crowd to get together for drinks and pintxos before going out for dinner. It opens at 7 pm and fills in within minutes even though it is a pretty large space. Once it's full, it is incredibly loud. 80 types of bear, bar tenders work very hard, but ordering at the bar is very confusing as there is no line, just a huge crrowd around the bar, so try to get eye contact with a bartender who will then take your order. Pintxos are displayed in three groups ( with meat, with seafood/fish, and vegetarian). 80 types of bear, mainly bottled, only 4 on draft. You order at the bar, pay and take your drinks&food to the table ( if you came at 7 pm and was lucky to grab a table). There is also a dinner menu ( only in Spanish). Pintxos were ok and very cheap - just over Euro2 a piece ( we tried from all three groups) . Local draft bear and a bottled cidra were good. We made a mistake to stay for dinner and ordered Nachos with cheese and pork and Tzatziki With Friends from the main menu. It was a disaster. Nachos were absolutely terrible. I think we got the bottom of the bag as all chips were small broken bits, it was difficult to eat, I had to use a fork(!!!). The melted cheese is the greasy tasteless American orange cheddar, minced pork was almost unnoticeable. And the heartburn afterwards...... Tzatziki &Friends was a platter with pita bread pieces and three small dishes with yogurt (which is apparently tzatziki), veeery salty humus, and pretty good tapenade (chopped black olives). It was an interesting experience

Love love love this little dive. The food is tremendous and the wine is cheap. You have to come here.

Thanks to online recommendation we arrived 5 mins before opening. Moltabarra filled up fairly quickly and remained busy for the rest of the evening. The Tuesday night offer was exceptional value. The range and tapas available was great. Many customers going back to get more. The Nachos were heavenly. The atmosphere was friendly and lively. A great choice to start your evening. However, be prepared to prefer to stay than go anywhere else!

In my two visits to this restaurant, my first experience was somewhat challenging. When requesting a wine change due to digestive issues, the waitress initially displayed impatience and a rude attitude. Despite explaining the situation, the hostile tone persisted. Eventually, she reluctantly changed the wine. As for the food, while I acknowledge its quality, it lacks the distinctive flavor I find in other establishments of the same chain. My second visit was more positive in terms of service, being polite and courteous.

This tapas bar it’s very cool and have nice tapas in style of fusion kitchen but the price level it’s a bit overrated so for two person with a bottle of wine you pay for a dinner €120. The Iberico ham for €25 it’s completely overrated!

Excellent food, really good service, and great atmosphere especially as we sat at the kitchen bar. Enjoyed great chat sitting next to locals and other diners from the UK. Will definitely be back, especially for the courgette flower with goats cheese, the salt-cod fritters and grilled octopus. Delish.
Note: you have a 1.5 hour dining time limit.

Wieder ein Erlebnis der Extraklasse.
Service: sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
Essen: Zubereitung & Geschmack hervorragend.
Immer wieder gerne

This place is a hidden gem in terms of food and atmosphere. You can see why the locals flood it for dinner. The location is unassuming, and it seems more like a bar with some food up front on the bar display. However, after you order from the slightly sassy waiter and the food arrives, you will be treated to amazingly well cooked meat. We had steaks (sirloin and tenderloin), lamb chops, and the iberico secret. Everything cooked perfectly tender to order.
Highly recommend for the great food great atmosphere and the sassy waiter. 👌

PLEASE SPARE YOUR TIME TO GO HERE EVEN IF YOU CAME ON A CRUISE SHIP!

I came here by a cruise ship and only have such short limited time on this island.

I found this place after a thorough research for authentic Mallorca food experience, and I decided to gamble and spent my limited time (and stomach capacity) to eat here.

Needless to say, that I made the BEST DECISION by spending my limited recourses here.

A must order dishes including:
1. Cured iberico ham. I never thought cured ham can be this delicious and not gamy
2. Grilled oysters. Delicious and fresh, perfectly complimented by the garlic on top
3. Lobster paella. Definitely mind blown with the freshness of the lobster, and the umami sea flavors in the soup.

Im grateful that I visited here in my short time in Palma.

In the off season, you can book a seat quite easy. Food was great and service was good as well. However the price of the food is overkill. Tiny 4 scallops for 23 Euro. I am normally eating less than other average people, but here you can pay easily 55 to 65 Euro per person.
Definitely not a place for everyday visits.

Quick review of this restaurant. The food is okay if slightly overpriced. However the service is unbelievably bad. We were walk in customers at around 6.30pm and were immediately told they needed the table back at 9.30pm. Which to be honest seemed reasonable. However for the entirety of the meal we were hurried and given snide service by one of the waiting staff. He continued to check when we would be finished even if we clearly hadn’t finished our food. Finally towards the end of the meal he huffed loudly next to our table and cleared our plates without asking if we were finished.

Would say the food is around a 4/5 but the service is 1/5. Go Camino instead!

Our dinner was so good, we went back the day after for lunch and were equally blown away … the delicious dishes is matched by the impeccable service. A must visit in Palma.
The Macan 2018 Rjoca is the perfect pairing to anything on the menu
Restaurant is in a nice part of the town and staff will try to seat you outside so you have a good view.

Food is amazing!! We ordered a sunrise (mocktail), which was very sweet but nice. To eat we ordered a shrimp taco each and those were divine. We had a mini burger and it puts all others to shame. We also had calamari to share with an amazing sauce.

We recommend this place and if there is a queue… wait!!

So nice I went twice. The food and the service here are so good.
Went on a Tuesday night on my own. Was a bit quiet so i got a table easily. Seated right away and asked for my drink order very promptly.
I ordered some garlic prawns, some bread with tomato, some meatballs and a curry chicken roll that sounded interesting.
My drink arrived not 30 seconds later and the first of the tapas a few mins later. Garlic prawns arrives first bubbling away and they were sublime. Just enough garlic and the heat from the small chillis to give it a kick. The bread with tomato was perfect for dipping into the oil to soak up that goodness. The meatballs came next. While they were nice they didn't blow me away, but still were tasty and very saucy. What really got me was the curry chicken roll. I didn't have high hopes but It was absolutely delicious. Spicy, but not too much, with minced chicken and veg and a creamy sauce on top. I could have eaten about 10 of them alone.
The service here was super good. If one waitress didn't check on me, then another did and I was very well looked after.
Enjoyed so much I went back on the Wednesday night. It was busier this time, so could only sit at the bar which was fine with me. Basically got the same food again, minus the meatballs but mixed it up with a pinchos of steak, potato and roasted pepper which was delicious as well. Once again the service was just amazing and they're super friendly.
I saw another review that said the tapas were small, I disagree and think they were the perfect size. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Very nice tapas restaurant, good prices and really huge portions! Recommend to only order two tapas per person - really!
Recommended are bread with aioli, pork filet with pepper, meatsballs and eggplant.

Service was very friendly, authentic rooms, and very cool AC.

Only negatives are so big portions and not mentioned in menu (e.g. meatballs are 5 big balls which could be states on menu) and not so clean walls and bathrooms.

Luckily we were able to get a table for two at super late notice, knowing nothing about the restaurant until we arrived and saw the michelin plaque.
When we met the host, we were walked through the labyrinth of tables and rooms to our table and were served straight away by our waiter.
We had the oysters, the tuna tartare (amazing), the low temp egg in truffle sauce (absolute stand out, didn't take a photo but this was one of the most interesting and delicious dishes I've had in a long time), and the paella.
Paired with a couple of glasses of wine each the meal came in at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend.

Just coming back from the second dinner in a row. On the first night we got the pan con tomate, the tuna tartar and the rice with scallops, red shrimps and squid: the latter was similar to a paella, with such tender seafood with a perfect touch of saffron. The tartar was spectacular: with a zesty but balanced marinade and A grade tuna.
The dessert we had, was a lemon pie that was just amazing.
We didn't have enough of it, so even if we personally like to try different restaurants, when travelling, this fear of missing out on other places didn't stop us from booking a table also for the next day.
Today we left so happy: my husband and I shared 4 tapas, of which (again) a tuna tartar, the char grilled asparagus (good combination with the sauces), the roast octopus (so tender and absolutely not chewy), and the Iberian grilled pork shoulder (was melting in my mouth).
There's nothing that needed more or less salt, marinade or others, everything was just perfect the way it was.
We'd also recommend the brioche, as a dessert.. a true comfort dessert.
Going to the service, we've found such a welcoming and professional staff. Also, a big thank you to the lady (probably the manager) who treated us so nicely.
The restaurant itself has many rooms.. of which the best ones might be on the first floor, but anyways, also the top one has a good and intimate atmosphere.
Good value for money.. if you eat like we do, expect to pay between €50 and €70 per person, which, in our opinion, was absolutely worth it.
Thank you for two wonderful nights.

Service is very slow, the food is below average, no taste. The worst steak tartar and the worst chicken. The tartar mainly with too much onion, the chicken - burned. This place is just waste of money. Untill now, haven’t had such a bed expensive in Mallorca.

There was a queue for a lunch at ~14:00 even here (we didn't get table in better restaurants nearby so ended up here).

Service is slow - 10 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes to get the menu, 5 minutes to order and then it takes 20+ minutes to get the meals. So it takes almost an hour before you start eating - be prepared for this. We were bit starving thus rating might be lower for service due to this. Plus extra time needed to get and pay a bill 😀

Free Wi-Fi provided, this a plus as mobile signal is very weak inside.

I recommend taking green salad with goat cheese - it was really good!
The location is fantastic, but when it comes to authentic good tasting food, this place is the biggest let down. I failed to read the reviews before sitting down. Absolutely avoid if you care the slightest about food.

You've gotta check out this awesome tapas joint! They've got killer deals every Tuesday and the vibe is just right – always packed with locals who know what's up. The food is seriously delicious, and they're not stingy with the portions either. Don't miss their pinchos bar for those little nibbles. Oh, and the coolest part? They've got a quirky corner with old-school tunes and fun puppets that'll make you smile. The only thing that could use an upgrade is the air conditioning during the summer.

To be honest, I don’t know why rating is so high, because our experience wasn’t as great.
We wanted to take several starters and main dishes, but the waitress suggested it would be too much food. So we took 4 starters for 2 of us. And it was a good amount indeed.
They were bringing one dish at a time, while I’d prefer they’d just bring it all together (it’s all starters after all) and we avoid waiting for another dish and interruptions to our time/conversation.
I love burrata, and here it was nice, but I do not agree with the serving, as for me fresh and delicate burrata goes better with fresh vegetables. But maybe it’s just a matter of taste.
The croquettes were too salty.
The canelón was fine. And to my taste the best dish out of all was Pluma ibérica.
The service was okay. We wanted to leave 5% tip (we were paying by card). The waitress made it look like she has a problem counting, added 10% and asked if the final sum is okay to us. Well… we agreed, but I think it’s not really okay. If the service was nice and fun and she would do it in a friendly/funny way, we would not mind. But what we experience wasn’t that.
I do not think we will come back or recommend this place.
It wasn’t horrible, but for the same money you can get better food and service in Palma.

PLEASE READ!

This was an appaling experience.
The service was on another level of slow. The waiters were nonchalant and were really hard to get in contact with.

On top of that the food was in best case mediocre on my wifes side of the table and on my side it was nasty.
The most oily and dry fries ive encountered in my life. The tasted like they’ve been under a fat mans buttocks all day in the sun and then been left out to dry for 3 damn weeks.

The atmosphere was decent, although there is an annoying tree that drops leaves and stuff all the time that goes in your drink and food if your sitting outside.

Why im this mad is Aldo bevakar it wasnt especially good price for the food and I got food poisoning from the iberian pluma and was up all night puking.

All and all 1/10. Dont go there, plenty of better places to choose from.
I have never complained in my whole life about food as i can normally eat most things however the food from this place was the worst i’ve ever eaten
Having not checked the reviews before hand we ordered a bolognese and a Tuna and tomato baguette what was served shocked us. The meals tasted as if they were bought in a supermarket and heated up which to be honest i wouldn’t have minded if it was cheap!! NO it was more expensive than most places we ate at during our holiday. A glass of coke zero was 4.90 ridiculous! Would never spend my money here again simply awful.

The atmosphere was very nice, the food not so. Straight from the fridge onto my plate. Chewey is a massive understatement. If you are going to eat here, take the starters and we strongly advise you to avoid the mains. Or at least when you want to swallow your food without training your jaw muscles. The sucking pig is a must try!!! Everything is yummy, the octopus, the mascarpone dessert! The service is not that warm and the No aircon so not so comfy sitting there for long time but given the quality of food and the price( super reasonable) I would defi recommend!! Good experience!

Had a quick lunch here and the service was very quick, friendly and they even recommended not to order too much as the food we had would be plenty - this is always appreciated!
The food though left much to be desired, our dishes were lukewarm or in some cases cold. The salad had a lot of dressing and tasted salty.
A shame but I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Our food was delicious, the service was good considering we arrived between seatings, but what I loved the most was that there were no tourists in the place. It was all locals so it made it all more authentic. (Not pictured are the succulent lamb chops.)

Downtown Palma di Maiorca. Food is good, very informal. Beer is very good too. Staff is kind and helpful. Better to book because is usually very full.
The food was fine. Not very good but still edible. We bought paella and water. Water is 3.50 euros. They don't tell you how much each drink costs so beware. Only outdoor seating. Food tasted very frozen, and the mussels in the paella didn't taste fresh. Also, there is no wifi here, but there is a hotspot nearby that tells you that this place is a scam. This place is highly overpriced and wasn't worth the price. Would not recommend.
We ordered pizza and calamares
Pizza was probably bought from the supermarket and then heated.
Calamares weren’t fresh something you can easily find in the supermarket ( frozen packages) and fry at home.
True disappointment and waste of money.
Hey, yes, it can be crowded, yes it can be loud and yes it’s worth to visit :)
Don’t need a reservation but just luck to find a place to sit :)
Friendly place, enjoy the joy of the people.
You can directly go to the bar and order your drinks and food; also pay them there.
You might find also yourself in a party by Sifoneria ( google for him ;) )
Staff was working with a high motivation and they were lovely 😊
If you are in Palma, don’t miss this place ;)

Living in Mallorca and first time in this restaurant. Ordered the ribeye which was served for 35€ with only some patates and nothing else! The ribeye was very bad and 80% full of fat.. the waiter did not react on my comment and just gave me the bill..
also, without asking for it, they served me olives and bread which also was on the bill! My worst dinner in Santa Catalina till now unfortunately..

I wish I could give this place a 0 star, and I wish I had googled it before to see the reviews from other clients. Food was so horrible, ordered various tapas and OMG, the food ruined my whole day. THEY WILL NEVER SEE MY MONEY, not even if they were the only place open in town. And it's not freshly made food, it's frozen food. So disgusting my goodness. NO NO
Ordered seafood paella, I mean just bad very bad. Can barely find any seafood… at the same time I saw this girl sitting in the restaurant next to this place she have also ordered the same thing but her’s look so so much better! They are just trying to fool tourists! Bad service! Looking for tables is like begging them to give me food. It’s not even cheap…

Terrible customer service. It's absolutely appalling. Not a single smile or thank you. A coke is 4.90 euros, while the place next door is 2.90. When asked about the price, the response is that you are in the city center and this is normal price. Avoid this place.

the paella didnt look like on the pictures and one was a little burnt, since its the first paella I had I cant really say a lot about the taste but I guess it was fine! little water was 4.50 (=very expensive)
Sehr unaufmerksamer Service.
Schönes Lokal an belebter Strasse…

A family of four. My wife, daughter and I ordered tapas, which were ok. My son ordered pizza, which didn't arrive. When we asked what had happened, the waiter blamed us when it was his fault. When I tried to pay, the card machine was broken and I had to get cash from an ATM to pay. I would not recommend this restaurant. The owners / staff do not care for their customers.

food is nice enough but waiter was focused on attracting new customers (anyone who walked by) rather than his existing customers that he was half way through taking an order from. low and behold he got our order wrong and then tried to blame us.

Honestly, avoid this restaurant, low quality food and worst service ever!

We were looking for a place to eat paella and we found this restaurant in a nice pedestrian area of Palma. After 10 min waiting, we got a table and we ordered a paella mixta and a paella de marisco. The waiter told us the waiting time for the food was around 30 min so we kindly ask to bring two beers, it was a very hot night. After 20 min, we were still waiting for the beers and had to remind the waiter about them. We finally got our beers, but the waiting time for the food was definitely longer than expected, and not worth: paella mixta was OK (chicken was the only meat btw) but the one with seafood was completely dry, almost burnt. We didn't give it back just because it was too late and we couldn't imagine how long it would have taken to get another one... My boyfriend in the meanwhile asked for a medium beer which never came, then he asked for a small one, and it never came. Last weird thing, we got our bill on a Ipad, we payed with cash and we didn't get any receipt!!!
First things first.... the meal took over 45 minutes to deliver 2 tapas items and nachos.

Overpriced.

Food was not great.

The octopus tasted like canned tuna that they disguised by adding way too much salt.

They charged us for bread that they did not deliver.

The only thing this place has going for it is lovely staff. Except the manager. He made one of his female staff move tables and chairs while he stood by and watched.

Safe to say, we won’t be back.

We lost our faith in this square because of the bad service in the other restaurants. We gave it one last try and came here. Dear god.. the waiters are SO friendly! The soups are amazing and the food in general is of good quality! This is one of my new favourite places in Palma. Love the service, quality and atmosphere! I will be back soon!

Sat here after finishing our wonderful tapas. The restaurant is very welcoming, the staff are attentive and food is good quality. Between the three of us we had seven tapas dishes and all were full at the end, with particular praise for the homemade meetballs.

The sangria went down a treat too.
