For Syrian cuisine lovers, and for people who are interested in experiencing authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, this restaurant is a must visit. For brunch, I recommend the Mixed Mezze Plate because you'd get 10 different samples of warm and cold appetizers which are more than enough for 2 people. For dinner, I'd recommend Dajaj Musahhab or Shish Kebab, for people who like grill.
For dessert, you won't go wrong with either Halawet El-Jibn or Qatayef.

I came to Hamburg with my brother and my friend (3 people) for tourism, and after searching for a restaurant with a good rating, we found this restaurant and came there at breakfast time. The food was excellent and the service was very good, so we decided to return at dinner time. It deserves a 5/5 rating.

We were staying in Eppendorf, at a VRBO right across the street from Elena's. Super convenient and delicious! We loved the quiche!

The reast rooms were clean , but they are missing appropriate accessibility , and the service is a bit slow even thow there wasn't a lot of customers at the time we have been..
A little bit expensive but worth it ..

The food is really delicious. Nice ambient. The staff is very friendly. However, they could be more proactive, approaching guests and removing empty dishes.

Had a meat pasta here, quite tasty and wholesome. Sadly, they dont do lasagna. Service was quite brisk and could be friendlier. But the food was fresh and funnily enough tasted even better in the evening as I got a takeaway for the leftovers.

The service was fast and the employees were nice.
My favorite would be the kebab and the dip which was supposed to be a little bit spicy (as an Asian, I love spicy food, so it was not too much for my taste) but something with a Hummus texture, it's just that I forgot the name.
I had mint tea and coffee afterwards, the coffee tasted different which was totally a new flavor for me, it has a bitter with a hint of lavender for the taste.
Interior was top! Mint green was cool for the eyes. Simple but screams elegance. Not to mention their toilet, it was clean and well maintained.

Awesome hosts and very nice food. Also affordable (especially the pizza menu). Looking forward to eating there again :)

The place feels quite dirty, the decoration is full of dust, the cutlery was dirty. The food in general is not really italian, not very tasty.

The food, especially the pizza is very tasty! You don't have to wait for long and it's quite cheap. However, the service wasn't the best. As we wanted to ask for dessert (which they don't have) they didn't even come to the table. Overall it's a good place for a nice pizza or pasta if you're in the area.

Da Elena is a nice small restaurant in the district Eppendorf (Hamburg) at 10 minutes walking distance from U-bahn Haltestelle Hudtwalckerstrasse. The owner Elena is very friendly. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a wonderfull bruschetta, housemade ravioli and tiramisu. Good food in a friendly atmospher with a nice price!
