Great food. We order a Non Veg Thali for 33.5 eur. Lots of food and very very good food. Dessert was amazing included. The staff are awesome , very helpful and nice. Recommended
One of the best Indian Nepali restaurant in the heart of Luxembourg city. A food quality is really amazing. A very friendly service and food recommendation by their staff.
Excellent and great tasting dishes!! Loved the mixed grill Platter - it was perfect for sharing.

An excellent family run restaurant with friendly staff and wonderful food. The everest mixed special platter was delicious. Kebabs, lamb chop, chicken, fish and king prawn in delicate spices with rice and sauce (at chosen spiciness)
The food was deliciouse and the staff very welcoming and friendly. I really recommend the mix starter and the non-veg thali. They were amazing.

Food is good we love the food, but delivery today took way too long. While We understand it’s New Year’s Day they could be busy, but 2.5 hour for delivery is not really acceptable.

we placed the order at 18.30, phoned at 20.30 to ask about the order, got told driver just left will be with us in 10-15min, having received nothing by 21.00, we phone again. The response was not clear at all, all they can give us is “it will be delivered soon”

By the time the food is delivered naan bread is all cold and needs to be heated up again.

Excellent service and great quality of food. I had the sizzling kebab covered in pistachio which was delicious and the star of the show was daal tadka.

Had lunch there with some colleagues. It's a very nice and clean place. Service was very friendly and the food was great. There are even Vegan options. Everyone was very happy !
Indian food was good, but the Nepalese food did not taste anything like the food you get in Nepal. Dal bhat was more like a vegan Indian curry.
Cuisine avec tellement de saveur qu'on adore ! Le service est simple et efficace
The food is tasty but do not order delivery from this restaurant, if you’re going to order then you’ll have to pick it up. It took 2 hours and 22 minutes for our food to be delivered and when it finally arrived, it was cold. I also called them after 2 hours to ask when the food would arrive and they told me the driver was 3 minutes away. After another 10/15 minutes, I called again because it still had not arrived. They ignored six phone calls from me and sent each call to their answering machine.

Great place! Very teasty and authentic food. They have a lot of levels of piquancy. Service is very pleasant. I had a nice time there and went out with happy belly.
We had lunch buffet at Himalaya 1. The taste of the food was great. However the spread of the buffet was very limited. There were only chicken items ( chilli chicken, chicken tandoori and butter chicken) as starter and mains. Buffet costs 15 Euro. However for similar price range at Luxembourg you can have much varied Indian buffet at Namaste near Gare Central. Loved the taste, but did not like the spread.

The sauce has no taste at all, I practically had to throw away the food. The meat was separate from the sauce which was a normal tomato source that you can buy in auchan, completely tasteless, we ordered 4 portions of chicken ticka but noone could eat it. We were all very disappointed as we were expecting Indian food, but what we received had nothing to do with Indian. No spice, no taste, total disappointment and 80 eur thrown out if the window.

To provide some context, over the past two years, I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively, visiting more than 20 countries. During these travels, I made it a near-daily ritual to enjoy at least one meal at an Indian restaurant, primarily because it offers a healthy option (rice and meat), which is ideal while on the road.

This extensive culinary journey has given me considerable experience in the realm of Indian cuisine. So, when I say that this particular restaurant stands out as the best among the hundreds I've had the pleasure of trying, you can trust my judgment.

Before delving into the reasons behind this assertion, I must extend my heartfelt congratulations to the owners and staff of this establishment. They've not only cultivated an exceptional dining experience but have also mastered the art of crafting remarkable dishes.

During my visit, I opted for takeout, and I was genuinely impressed by the portion sizes. In terms of both quantity and price, this restaurant excels where many others fall short. It's not uncommon to crave a substantial meal after a long day of work or an intense gym session, and this restaurant truly understands that desire. My hats off to the owner for recognizing this need and offering generous portions at reasonable prices.

Now, let's discuss the flavors. Without a doubt, the food here is unparalleled in taste. From the exquisite sauces to the quality of the meat and ingredients, every aspect is executed to perfection. It's been a month since my departure from Luxembourg, and I've yet to find a dining establishment that even remotely compares to the culinary delight I experienced here.

I eagerly anticipate my return, and I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone give the Chicken Tikka Masala a try. It's an absolute must-try dish at this exceptional restaurant.

Ordered take away online through their website. Food was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later. Bit difficult to find how to get to this place. My car navigation kept giving me wrong directions. There's a tiny street with a traffic light only allowing traffic flow in one direction at a time that you can take to get there. Staff was friendly. Card payment possible. American Express is not accepted. Portions were of nice size. Good taste to the food. Nothing exceptional but definitely good. Tried two curries, one with lamb and one with chicken. Naan bread with coconut was tasty. Shrimps appetizer not really my thing. I believe this place was the Orchidee before and has now become Himalaya 3.
The food was really good ! There was just one minor inconvenience, the meat was a bit dry for my taste.
I enjoyed the Panneer Pakora which is deep fried white cheese and also the garlic Naan bread 🍞

We went to Indian buffet today and to be honest, it was very good. We had a range of curries. The red bean was very good, the prawn and beef also was amazing. They even give you ice cream at the end. Good choice for lunches.

Himalaya is one of my best friends’ favourite restaurant. When we were working together, she was organising our team lunch every month and in most cases we ordered from this restaurant. The tradition continued even during the COVID time as we were both in the same group working in the office. My other colleagues were trying to switch to our group because of that. Every time we order, she would give extra tips to the delivery men and order additional menues for her families. Although we are no longer working together now, we go to the restaurant from time to time. Each time I eat Indian food, it reminds me about this generous British girl and Himalaya restaurant.

The restaurant is well known for its authentic Nepalese and Indian food. It was approved by my ex-Indian colleague, who had recommended me the Lamb Roganjosh in the restaurant. Himalaya is always fully booked in the evenings, therefore try to reserve a table in advance. Nevertheless, during the lunch time there aren’t that many people and dishes are served much faster. If you are not in rush during the lunch break sometimes, it would be a pleasure to enjoy the Indian food trip in Himalaya. Recommend.
Fabulous food, very fresh and delicious 😋
Very friendly staff, pretty busy so make reservations before you come.
MOMO and lamb kebab definitely recommend.
Found this around the corner from accommodation by accident, my word what a find!
I’d rate this as the best Indian/Himalayan food we have ever tasted
Very generous serves, we two shared one entree and one main plus a nann bread and really a bit too much, perfect in every way
Licenced as well so enjoyed a glass each with our dinner
Best Fried Chicken I have ever had in my life. The Crust was crusty but also soft to bite. The chicken itself was also very soft. And the taste was one of the most wonderful experiences a meal has ever given me. Just perfect. The sauce next to chicken was also excellent and the service people were very friendly and helpful.
Below average and overpriced food, super slow service and rude staff. Even after reading this you visit this place then please be clear that - THIS IS NOT INDIAN OR TIBETAN FOOD.
To be specific - Momos have super thick covers, Fried tastes stale, lamb pieces are of the worst selection.
We tried spicy chicken biriyani, naan, and meat samosa, taste was yummy 😃 staffs are friendly. Good find in Luxembourg 😊
The review is for delivery.
1) Dal Tadka was good, infact one of the best Indian dals that we have tried in Luxembourg.
2) Chicken momo - I wouldn't give a lot of stars to this. The outer layer was too thick for my taste and the filling/meat was not juicy.
3) Momo chutney was nice and spicy
4) Naan - the naans were ok. I would recommend to have them while it is fresh and warm.
Good food and very close to Gare. We always visit when we are in Luxembourg.
One of the most delicious butter chicken I’ve ever tasted! Very well seasoned and served.
5 stars to the service as well. The staff is super nice and welcoming. Will come back definitively to try the momos! €18.50 the plate of food + €4 to try the Mango Lassi

It is absolutely typical Nepal food by a kind Nepal family.
We ate the plate clean because it is Soooo delicious! (We two are from China and Italy)
The place is beautiful, near center, easy arrive by bus with free transportation in Lussemburgo. The people are very nice, especially the girl and a guy they are so nice, they suggest us with passion.
The food is abundant and good taste! Something I never tried! We ordered lamp and beef, a non-veg soup, some dumplings (?sorry I forgot name, but seems with lamp meat inside, is good with mint sauces, add fresh crush) 😻the meat are fresh and good cooked! Order add spicy ONLY IF you are super confident about yourself;)ahah
If you like exotic food, try it! You will find new taste 👅
Keep going e ViVa!

Delicious food.. just the soup could be a little bit more (it's really small).. the Nepalese dumplings with the hot dip are amazing as a starter!
This is the restaurant with fusion of Indian and nepali ingredients. As i know nepali (being nepali myself) and indian food taste. Very rich masala used for cooking. We ordered chicken Vandaloo ( rice coem together), samosa and naan. Naan was soft and thin. Waiters were so nice. Thankyou
We went at lunch time with my GF. Good quantity and fresh food but waitress could be a little nicer.
Loved the experience dining at Himalaya3. It is very close to the Luxembourg Central Station and right next to the Bennevoie, Dernier Sol tram stop. Loved every dish we had, special complement about the naan, chapati and roti that were so soft. Usually these bread products at restaurants go hard once they get cold but we packed some left over food and the chapati was soft even the next day.
Another special shoutout to their Lamb momos which had such authentic filling and the real spicy chutney to go with it.
Service was excellent with well mannered and polite conversation, made us feel really welcoming. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Tasty Nepalese & Indian food, fast service and very good prices. It’s a great value for money!
The host is quite polite, the place truly charming, and the food outstanding. It was my first time trying Indian food out and it did not disappoint at all!

Oh, make yourself a favor and ask for the mango yogurt for dessert. It helps calming down the spiciness if you are not used to it, and it's pretty flavorful 💕
Great Indian restaurant. Tasty food, nice staff.
Ordered chilli chicken and samosa. The Chili chicken was served with more than 100 gms of oil. Disappointed and ended up throwing the food.

Nice restaurant. We took the lunch menu. We had chicken soup which was nice, lots of flavours but salty. We also had thali. The naan was very good. The rest was average but the kebab was too dry to eat. Was okay for 12 euro.

Except for the lunch menu, the meat briyani which is Jaipur gosht briyani is very good.
Food 3.5: Service 5; Ambiance 3.5 (.5 for old Bollywood songs) As an expat from India, you usually have high expectations from Indian food, but as you spend 5months, you learn to adapt to the European style Indian food. But woh butter naan hee kya jisse butter na tapke (butter naan should have butter dripping from the naan). Daal fry was good. Handi chicken was okaish looked like kadhai chicken's cousin. Pappad and chutney is served at your table free of cost. I understand water is not served in restaurants here however atleast Indian restaurants should serve water as it's part of our culture. The stewardess was friendly, courteous and try understood 'service' she noted that we like and can handle spicy food. She bought spicy chutney especially for us. Cheers to her!!
Excellent Tibetian food restaurant close to the center of Luxembourg city. Good prices, delicious and fresh food and very caring staff. Highly recommended.
I am not so into Indian food but the curiosity of seeing constantly flow of people in that restaurant awake my curiosity. So I ordered a special menu, was an amazing flavour experience, this is my opinion without really knowing Indian food, the size of the dishes was generous, I tried a bit of all, the writers were so kind. Definitely I will be back, if you are into vegetarian, non vegetarian, spice or not spice food, I am sure you will enjoy

So far the best Indian restaurant in Luxembourg.
Delicious meals, generous portions as well as kind and friendly customer service. We enjoyed a lot and will come back!
Food, atmosphere and service was very good. We received a very warm and smiling welcome. Will definitely go there again.
Going to Sherpa was an incredible experience. The service was good, and the place has wonderful decorations.
The food was spectacular, with a good level of spice, a wide variety of dishes in the menu, and good selection for all type of eaters.
Definitely will be returning soon.
This was my first Indian dish and it was not a disappointment. It was extremely delicious and spicy. Highly recommended. I would certainly drop when in Luxembourg.
First visit here but already been at the the
Tibet 1 restaurant before. I think the design and atmosphere of the restaurant could be improved a lot. It is rather bland looking outside but also inside at the moment.

The staff is however friendly and the quality of the food was very good. The portions are also big while the prices were also very fair.

If you leave hungry it is your own fault.
Must Go.. Just Go..
After nice evening in beautiful town of Vianden, my friends and I wanted to have an Indian Dinner so were looking for good restaurants.
One of our friend insisted on visiting this restaurant as she had already been here before. This made our lives easy and we simply went to Orchidee instead of going through list of all Indian Restaurants and go through the review and decide.
The ambience was nice, the place was clean, spacious and well lit.

Below are the dishes that we tried and their review:
Sweet/Mango Lassi - 5/5 Not so thick and Not too sweet.
Shabji Dal - 4/5 Mix veggies in lentils, was bit mild for our tastebuds, felt like khichdi.
Paneer Tikka Masala - 4/5 Nice taste.
Channa Masala Potatoes - 5/5 Very good taste and only place in Europe, I have found this dish, till now
Green chili curry chicken - 5/5
Naan ( plain/cheese/garlic) - 4/5
Dal Puri - 4/5
Chapati - 5/5 only restaurant where we found proper Indian chapati with ghee, felt like home.
Rashomalai - 3/5

Overall we had a really good time and our tummies were delighted. The prices of the dishes are average.
The hosts and the staff are really nice and cheerful.

I come here for more than 10y regularly. Quality has always been top and stayed like this. It's the best Indian/Nepalese Restaurant I know. The service is very considerate, welcoming and fast. The food is amazing and always good amounts. Great taste, fresh ingredients and spices. Weather you eat in or take away, highly recommended.

This restaurant served the best Chicken Karahi I’ve ever had! Definitely worth a visit when you’re looking for good authentic food! Also they serve you a Papad as Starters. The Naan was great too. And friendly waiters.
Excellente nourriture 😏 Nous avons goûté le poulet mariné aux cacahuètes, pistaches et noix de cajou puis grillé au tandoor. Nous avons aussi testé le mixte momos. Service très bien. Je recommande 😉
Tiny place with a veranda on a car parking. Cuisine is good, the owner is kind and dishes are well presented but the meat is stringy. Indian beers served.
Had a good experience in this place. The variety in the menu is huge and the food is pretty good too. Some items are too less in proportions so it'll be good to ask before placing an order. Friendly staff...usually not crowded.
