First time in, and it was delicious! Definitely will be back. If you like Indian food, this is a must try. Their Nepalese menu serves up items familiar to most Indian restaurants (with their own style) and new items I had yet to experience. A joyful meal!
As a fellow Nepalese, I had eagerly anticipated trying out this restaurant. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as the food failed to capture the authentic flavors of Nepal. The achars (pickles) and pakodas were excessively salty, and the paneer was undercooked. To compound the issue, the choila meat was served raw, a far cry from the well-grilled meat that was expected. It's disheartening to witness such subpar dishes being served under the guise of a Himalayan restaurant. This dining experience undoubtedly stands as the worst I've encountered, and it's truly regrettable to witness the reputation of Nepali cuisine being compromised in this manner.
I had to wait half hr extra for the food after I was there to pick it up and I got lil impatient. But my family has aggreed the wait was worthy! MO:MO was super super good and other foods we ordered was also great. The place looked nice.

Very unique and interesting food. I particularly enjoyed the chicken Momo which was definitely a treat. This place could do good if it expanded into a true restaurant. The dine in experience leaves much to be desired though the food is excellent. Keep up the good work and think of investing in expanding if you can. I'll be back.

First time trying Nepalese food and wow! The food was absolutely fantastic. Went with a some friends and we tried a variety of dishes including the samosa Chaat, momo, tikka masala, spicy Szechuan chicken and goat Choila. All of these were phenomenal. The chicken is so tender and the goat is seasoned very well. Samosa Chaat and Momos were delicious and honestly could have ordered multiple plates of those and been happy. Come give this place a try!

I ordered Veg Momo, Pork Chaumein and Pork Sekuwa. There was no pickle aka achar for the momo, like how do you even forget pickle for the momo? I swear I can make better chaumein than this restaurant. Chaumein was greasy, oily, and not even cooked well. Worst sekuwa I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. Sekuwa pork was burnt out and had rice in it like tf…. Instead of typical pork meat there was rice mixed with the sekuwa… They should hire some chief instead of some amateur cook… I wasted my money for nothing… I love Nepali food but Cafe Everest ain’t it for the ultimate satisfaction and pleasure of the Nepali cuisines.

Avoid this place for your own health and safety! On our recent takeout order, we found a sharp metal wire in our food. The wire was small enough to be swallowed, and the tips were sharp enough to cause damage. It resembled a bristle from one of those metal grill brushes with burnt food baked on it. If you do a Google search on swallowing metal wires, you will find that it is very dangerous and potentially fatal. I searched the remaining food for additional metal wires and threw everything in the garbage. For the next couple of days, I was very anxious that I had accidentally swallowed a metal wire and would have to go to the ER for surgery.

Additionally, I called to inform them about the wire and asked for the owner. An employee picked up the phone and claimed to be the owner until I asked for their name to confirm their ownership. They refused to give their name and denied being the owner. When I asked when I could speak with the owner, the employee instructed me to call back on Tuesdays. However, when I initially called on a Tuesday, nobody answered because they were closed. This employee was being untruthful and subsequently handed the phone to another person. The next person confirmed their use of wire and apologized.

Regarding the pictures I'm including in this review, the wire was initially straight, and I bent it to see what material it was. I later confirmed that it is indeed metal using a magnet.

Avoid this place for the sake of your health, safety, mental well-being, ER trips, and surgeries.

The food was incredible! So well seasoned and delicious. The Mango Lassi was the best I've ever had. We also tried the momos, tikka masala saag, chicken korma and lamb biryani. All amazingly flavorful. This is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland for sure. Highly recommend!
Everything here is good to great. I enjoyed the momos. I loved the Samosas (order like 6 when you come here because they are amazing) and the chicken biryani was spicy and delicious! Make sure to get the garlic naan as well!

Stopped in today for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious lunch buffet. We had a group of four people and tried everything the buffet had to offer. Every item on the buffet was bursting with flavor! The garlic naan was mouth watering & service was excellent. Would highly recommend & will be back soon!

Lots a flavor. The Naan is delightful and chicken malai kabab was a great size. Can't wait to try more on the menu.

Absolutely incredible food and spectacular flavors. Authentic food from Nepal. Definitely don’t judge this restaurant by the outside. Go inside and try it out if you have an expanded pallet and respect for delicious food. Thank you Chef Dhan! Wow. I will 100% be back.
Excellent food and hospitality at this restaurant! We enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks (mango lassi) on a cold Cleveland evening. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I rode by this place all the time on my bicycle commuting to downtown. Well I was next door getting my muffler on a car fixed and decided to finally have lunch here. I was the only person here. The service was awesome, atttentive and super friendly. I had the steamed Goat Momo (I have never tried Goat) it was delicious and tasted so much more flavorful than Ground Beef! I also got a order of Garlic Naan. Absolutely fantastic.
